Emily who works in crosby branch found the cruise I wanted and dealt with it all from start to finish very quick I would definitely use her again and Hays travel

I called into your shop twice last week to enquire about a cruise next year and also about going to Tenerife in December. I spoke on both occasions to Nicole who was very helpful, professional and very friendly. She went out of her way to help me look for different options and took the time to explain everything to me.

I received poor customer service from E one member of staff who was intrusive,inappropriate and unprofessional with personal questions regarding my previous travel experiences, e.g. "do you always travel on your own?" "it depends", I replied, "depends on what" she countered, "if I am on my own" "where is the farthest place you've travelled?" " New Zealand" "living the dream" she said, as I wondered when I was going to hear more about my travel arrangements, and when she was going support the her trainee colleague, N, who was clearly struggling with entering my details.

I can assure you I am not leaving the dream, having lost a wife and son...

More inane drivel continued, as did the interminable wait for progress, with my travel booking, as I asked how much longer would this take?
"ten minutes?" came the reply. I said I would return later as I needed to get away from this obtuse person's unprofessional competence, and constant personal questions.

This staff member requires, amongst other things, training in interpersonal skills, and supporting her less experienced junior colleague.

My booking when finally completed came to £648.85
Later that evening at home on my chrome book I found the same hotel, airport, and flight times, with Atol cover, £59 cheaper.

I wonder if E had spent more time and effort supporting N with my booking than her intrusive questions I may have received further reduction in cost?

I voiced my dissatisfaction to assistant manager M on 13/10/25. I suggest you contact M personally at branch and ask her my degree of upset and dissatisfaction.

Basically accused me of money laundering , when I went to change holiday money, I’ve never been so insulted

Called to the shop Wednesday to inquired about a cruise. Claire gave me all the details she was extremely helpful. I returned to the shop Friday Claire was off that day but Laura managed to book the cruise for my sister and myself. Both Claire and Laura were helpful and explained all the details clearly both staff were very professional

I telephoned and spoke to Clare. Within an hour, she had options for me to choose from, well within my budget. Once I confirmed my hotel choice, the payment request was sent, followed by the travel insurance details. I would heartily recommend.

We visited the Crosby shop on Wednesday, and from the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. We had pre-selected our holiday, and Claire was very professional and efficient, and explained everything concisely. She also gave us some useful information about future holidays. We will certainly use Hays again, and we definitely recommend to anyone.

I missed my usual package holiday in summer 2025 so decided to try for something later. I found some flights, found a destination and went to Hays in Crosby to see if they could put together a protected package. They did. Found what looks like a good hotel and put the whole thing together. Great service from Millie.
