My experience with hays travel was good the staff was welcoming especially Stephanie with couple of visits she found what I was looking for with budget in mind
I have used hays before and would recommend any one to explore what they have

The title of my review is A DAY AT THE TRAVEL AGENT

The 1st and last time i would ever book through these. Booked a holiday on 11th January 2025 then 48 hours later found it £2,500 cheaper else where rang up on the 13th (48 hours later) to cancel to be told we could not.

Asked to speak to a manager to be informed she was the manager and there was no cooling off period , ( were not talking a cheap holiday) fast forward to December 2025 we have had no correspedence from them, despite the holiday being paid in full. Tried to check in online for our flights, only for the Hayes Reference number to be invalid, tried Gold Medal website and could not log in as in was not an agent, rang Gold Medal who informed me they could not deal with me as i did not have an agent number.

Turns out we had to book in with Emerites with there reference number which we did not have. Someone from hayes rang me within minutes to enquie i had had called Gold Medal.

Long story short after the poor and lack of commuination from Hayes, we are more confused than ever we are a party of 4 travelling together. There documents printed out by Hayes says they are flying from a terminal that is shut ( so we have cancelled the lounge) mine however is showing the correct terminal or we think. Even the flight numbers between our parties paperwork is different despite all being on 1 booking. Really not good, if you want to add extra stress to your holiday then Hayes is the company for you. Now we have lost our lounge fee and have to go to the shop again to try and get the correct documents wish us luck. Avoid at all cost.

From start to finish the booking experience was so stress free. We knew where we wanted to go and as we were doing the booking the sales person was very chatty

Owen at Hays Travel Blackburn was so helpful.Nothing was too much trouble.He spent a lot of his time searching for the perfect holiday for me and met all my requests.I will definitely be booking my next holiday with Hays Travel

They are very friendly staff and go out off their way too make your holiday a wonderful experience.

Very friendly and helpful. We booked a tour with a cruise incorporated so the booking process took longer than expected but we were kept updated with the online processes. They answered all queries that I had.

The lady who dealt with us was very polite & searched all websites for cheapest deals

Always get a very good sevice at Hays travel, nothing is to much trouble.

Jill was absolutely brilliant, sorted my holiday with efficiency and speed, cannot fault her, a credit to Hays Travel, Blackburn.

The whole experience was a pleasure. Laura listened to exactly what we wanted and matched us perfectly with a holiday. I would always make Hays my only choice for booking any future holidays and even more so if Laura was always available to deal with.
