I had a problem with the shipper, not HOS. They (HOS) were very accommodating in assisting me in the problem resolution. I could not have asked for more from any vendor in bringing my issue to a satisfactory conclusion. As an observation, I don't believe that they have a huge staff. The positive on that is that their prices are great because of the low overhead. The negative is that you can get your orders quicker from other vendors, but you are going to pay considerably more for that convenience. If you don't need it immediately and you can wait for your product, this is the best place to buy from. This is the first place that I will check for all of my future needs. One constructive criticism is that the online ordering site needs work. If your billing address and shipping address are the same there are no problems. If they are different, it doesn't work.

Placed order, says it was shipped from China, charged my CC, order never came. Disputed charge and was told this company was a known ripoff

Online ordering is a pain. I tried to order a gas can and kept receiving a notice that I had not chosen the correct carrier for shipment. There were no choices for carrier on the website. Hire someone who understands web development please. Decided to buy locally. Lousy experience.

Ordered hose guides on 6/9/2018 today is 7/7/2018 still not here & no communication.

I had order some pass 10 day but no tracking information, phone and email not answer.

I was told it would arrive. They confirmed my order and
gave me a USPS tracking.

Found suspiciously low price on bird netting, so ordered 5 of them. Initially site pulled up cost for 5 and I clicked on shipping, and got a reasonable charge for UPS . . . $9.00+ . . . so I continued with purchase, entering name, address etc . . . but, at end there appeared a HIGHER shipping charge of $17.00+ . . . the charge had doubled. I called support to complain and got runaround. Clerk first blamed it on computer, Then tried to make me feel guilty. Huh? Caveat emptor!

What we ordered was different then what was posted on line. Tried to work with their customer service agent Fran. She was extremely rude and not willing to pay. They do not have the product they advertied online and what they sent was unacceptable. She kept saying she had to leave before working with me the customer to resolve the issues. Fran put me on the phone with Miguel who hung up on me. I am refusing to pay a higher rate then they did to ship it back as well as a restocking fee for their website error. I have contacted the credit card company to dispute the charge. THE LOWER PRICES ON THE WEBSITE ARE NOT WORTH THE STRESS OF RECEIVING THE WRONG PRODUCT AND DEALING WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT!

As received, my order as 100% complete and 100% correct (86 pieces total, mixed items). The shipment was delivered in a timely manner. I found their prices to be very competitive. I'd do business here again.

ordered 4 sticks of wood got 1 in a tore up box and company won't return email.

Update: since my review, the company finally made good on the order.

Purchased touch-up paints, including primer and clear coat. Glad they had all of that available, but I ended up choosing the wrong color paint. Should have some instructions as to where to find the correct color. If they had that, review would be 5 stars.

Flashlight that I ordered had no "insides"; that is to say, it had no place to put batteries so the light would actually work. Jewelry I bought broke the first time I wore it. I won't be ordering from them again. I have not tried to contact or send back items because it's just not worth my time. I will say, however, that I was concerned that my items would be delivered while I was on vacation. The customer service person I emailed assured me they would be put on hold at the PO, and they were. She was very nice.

Thought i was ordering two 4-pound bags of zinc sulfate for my pecan trees at the quoted shipping cost but instead actually ordered 1 bag and paid the same shipping cost...per bag cost was cheap compared to other vendors on the internet and sealed the deal...however shipping cost was too high thus driving overall cost too high...

i should of paid closer attention to what i was doing when ordering...however, i feel misled by HOS and will likely send my business elsewhere in the future...
