Everything was accessible and enjoyed browsing around store. Ann-Marie was very polite and helpful.

I have my DofE expedition in a few weeks but luckily Jess W was there to help. She spent time with us going through the kit list and suggesting cheaper but still high-quality alternatives to suit our budget. Having done DofE herself, her knowledge and advice was amazing. She was funny and easy to talk to which made our shopping experience more enjoyable. Five stars from us, thank you Jess W. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The store looks great after it's upgrade and has a great open layout with everything you could hope to get your hands on for an outdoor experience. Abby was great help at checkout as well.

Was served by Ann-Marie who could not have been more welcoming or professional. Service with a smile and a helpful attitude goes a long way.

We bought quite a lot of stuff - Berghaus tent, footprint, carpet, gazebo etc and received superb help from Vicky and then Simran regarding the various bundles and the stores own discount. Very happy with purchases and assistance received.

I visited the Wolverhampton branch and brought a air tent on Sunday but the foot print and carpet wasn’t available I was told to come back before the offers finished as the store had been revamped they were offering an extra 15% of in store only I returned Wednesday before the offers expired and on both occasions the help from the staff was excellent.The service and help from carrying the tent to the counter and providing the discount and advice was really good .

I used Go outdoors. Last week at wolverhampton i was very impressed with the brilliant service. I was also fortunate to talk to the store manager who was a first class Guy and customer servicewas Brilliant i see they have finished the upgrade on the store and will be shopping there for sure in the future good luck to Marc at Go outdoors Wolverhampton and all the very pleasant staff Nick

All of the staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. The shop layout was good and clean. Good choice of stock great prices. Grateful for the toilets!
My only issue was the loud music at the entrance on the day we visited. I didn’t mind the music per se, but it was just too loud. Once the music stopped, I could concentrate on what I wanted to purchase. I think it was a one off promotional gimmick. Despite that, enjoyed my visit and found everything I needed.

The store didn’t look much different from visiting a few weeks ago. We arrived early to claim a goodie bag as well as to buy some camping gear but we were apparently too late for the goodie bag. It wasn’t helped by the fact that some families had more than one bag each which clearly showed that it wasn’t organised or monitored well. Some people even entered the store to claim the bag and then came straight out after not having bought anything. My children and I awoke early specifically for a goodie bag and some excellent offers for our upcoming camping trip and we came away very disappointed.

Plenty of assistance within the store on such a busy day ,pleasant staff..

Having had an item in mind, I asked staff earlier in the week about discounts on the day of the "event", and was told that they weren't aware of anything extra to normal! I then had a leaflet through the post stating that there was 15% off "almost everything" I duly went to the store this morning (event day) and chose the item I wanted, went to a member of staff and enquired if the discount was applicable to the item I was holding, and was told "Yes, it's off everything" I went to pay, to be blithely to,d, "there's no extra off this as it's already a sale item. I still purchased as I wanted the item ( a Rab gilet at just under £90). However, I could have gone at any time to do that rather than arrange things so I could go there on a specific day. To say I am disappointed is putting it mildly. The staff/management communication seems as dire as it is in many organisations. I would point out that the staff on the shop floor are only doing what is asked of them, and are always polite. It all leaves a rather bitter aftertaste as far as customer service is concerned, and when your customer is left disappointed as they leave your store, they think twice before coming back, and also relate the disappointment to others.

UPDATE: Having spoken to the store, they have offered to refund the 15%, so much better final outcome.

I needed a new pair of work boots and I was really pleased with the help and advice Ade gave me. He even delayed his lunch break to continue to help me find the right pair of boots. I'm so happy with my purchase. This man needs a rise he's great.

Ade was brilliant, he really knew his stuff, he gave some brilliant advice and things to think about which really helped in my product selection. I feel really confident for my expedition!
