Always great and has something for every price category. Their application of sales and member prices is amazing my first ever saving blew my mind. I got nearly £500 quids worth of gear for 250 quid.

Great experience, quality products for good price. Better than online brands. Staff are Friendly and helpful

After ringing round a few stores to find an item, I eventually found one in Wakefield a lovely lady called Ruth answered the phone and agreed to save the item for me to pick up later that day.
On arrival at the store I was greeted by Ruth who got the item for me, whilst I was in the store she was more than happy to help me out with other requests and questions, she is a credit to the store with her lovely friendly attitude and great customer service

Visited to buy some chairs and clothes. Ruth was really helpful and offered to move the heavier items we were carrying to the front desk so we could continue to shop in the clothes section. And when I forgot I could use my NHS discount, Daniella was very helpful in returning some items and reputation them through so I could save £14. Something that could have been embarrassing and a bit of a faff was made easy and well managed. So thank you!

I visited today with my mum she is struggling with her feet, Andy C was very helpful in finding her some walking boots and socks he was very patient and informative. Thanks to Emma at the till was a great shopping experience today:)

Easy to order online and was kept informed of status of delivery.
One of my purchases came too late for me to use (it was a gamble) and it was easy to return.
Over the years I've also spent hundreds of pounds in store and have always been very happy.

Very big store, has a great selection for camping from tents to sleeping mats and bags and lots of clothes to choose from.
We were served by Leeann who was very helpful and a nice person to talk to.
Bargains with a membership.

Another great visit to go outdoors Wakefield. Loads of sizes available and lots of clothing options. Helpful service from Evie too.

Service today was brilliant from all staff from start to finish. The initial call taker sourced us a replacement item to continue our holiday. Kev and Evie then dealt with our enquiry in store. All 3 staff were excellent, we were very grateful!.

Unfortunately the fishing tackle has been drastically reduced. Maybe the new store at Huddersfield has been the reason for so poor stock.
Clothing and camping good are well displayed and abundant.

What is the point in supporting DofE when you don't honour the discount? You don't take leader cards anymore, the discount code is apparently 'online only' and as a leader I do not use the app as it isn't for leaders. We'll be taking our 50+ students annually to Blacks instead now. Poor.

Leeann was absolutely excellent, able to give us the best price possible by letting us know about the available deals, and was very helpful! Could not be happier with my experience there! Thank you very much, Leeann. You are a fantastic, hardworking, dedicated worker.

Unfortunately, when I got the chosen product home it was missing a part.
Wakefield was my 2nd GoOutdoors visit of the day having been to my local Huddersfield (Leeds Road) store earlier, but they didn't have my item in stock.
When I rang Holly at the Wakefield store to explain the issue I didn't think the response was very helpful. Having chased around the stores to get the product in the first place I'd hoped that they might send me a replacement or at the least the missing part. Instead, the onus was on me to return the item to the store for refund or replacement (if they had one.)
By a quirk of fate, the advertised phone number for the Huddersfield (Leeds Road) store actually rings through to the Huddersfield (New Street) store, which I thought had closed. There I was helped by Mark who very obligingly took the issue on board and was able to sort out the missing part this morning.
It grieves me that I've had to take the initiative here for something that customer service could have done. It takes away from the good in-store experience. Must try harder.

Got some very good advice from Martin about how to adjust walking sandal straps properly, and good service from Kayla at the checkout. An all-round good experience

We were very indecisive when it came to choosing some hiking boots, Evie was very patient and helpful, great customer service and Mya at the checkout was great as well

I ordered a Berghaus Sleeping bag and camp bed for Click and Collect on 2nd July.
I hadn’t had any emails to say that the items had been delivered after this, so contacted customer services who informed me that the items had been delivered to the store. They were very helpful.
I then contacted Wakefield Store as I was worried that because I hadn’t collected the order, it would be sent back. I spoke with Maya, who was lovely and went and looked for my order whilst I waited on the phone. When I told her there were two items, she even went back again and made sure they had them for me. I also requested to ensure they were kept until I could get there to collect them on Thursday. Maya went above and beyond-I have a camping trip In the next two weeks and wanted the equipment ready for then. Very relieved!
