We were served by Julie and Eva. Our foster daughter has an intellectual disability and also some sensory issues. Julie and Eva really looked after us and fitted a riding hat and boots . Eva showed our daughter what jodhpurs she had which really encouraged her to try some herself. Julie took so much time and care with fitting the riding hat and put her at ease by chatting and talking through what she was doing to adjust it to fit. Excellent experience!

Outstanding service from Sophia!

Sophia was absolutely wonderful. She helped me with a foot analysis and then took the time to help me find the perfect trainers. Despite the shop being incredibly busy with lots of customers, she remained calm, friendly, patient and genuinely lovely throughout. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made me feel valued and well looked after rather than rushed.

Her professionalism, knowledge and positive attitude really stood out. It’s so refreshing to receive such fantastic customer service, especially when staff are under so much pressure.

Sophia is a real credit to the team, and I hope her excellent service is recognised. Thank you, Sophia, for making the whole experience such a pleasure! 👏

I was helped by Dave - he explained the range of ruck sacks, and pointed out the warmest, shower resistant coats/jackets. I was very grateful for his assistance.

1. Looking around huge store, quickly approached with offer of assistance
2. Shown to correct display and when staff member did not have specialist knowledge a further member of staff was summoned
3. The new member of staff ‘Darren’ was very knowledgeable with personal experience
4. When I completed my purchase, the till operative, explained how I could save money by applying a special offer

I visited Go Outdoors at swindon to purchase some horse feed for my daughter. I had a frozen shoulder and was struggling a bit but Julie came straight to my aid. Loaded my trolley and also loaded it into the car for me. She was so lovely and helpful, polite and kind. I have been to this store before and always found the staff polite and helpful. Well done

You know how it is? You go in for one thing and come out with another! I popped into Go Outdoors Swindon on the hunt for roll top waterproof cycle panniers and came out with a very smart and practical coat that isn’t my usual Berghaus waterproof!

The staff who looked after me were great, with the manager helping me with the discount code, and special thanks to Charlotte on the till.

Fantastic service! I was served by Darren who went above and beyond helping me find the right shoes for my upcoming trip.

I was largely clueless about what shoes I might need both in terms of my fit and my upcoming adventure. Darren dedicated a lot of time explaining all the various options I might like, explaining all the advantages and differences within the large range of shoes available, adding in a lot of personal wisdom for what might suit my specific needs.

In addition to this, when I was struggling with uncertainty over the shoe size being too small, rather than risking me buying a pair that would have been too large, Darren showed me how I could adjust the laces in such a way that my feet would be perfectly secure and the length would no longer be a worry.

It all made me very comfortable and confident with my purchase!

Nice product! Unfortunately they didn't fit for us and so were returned to the store. Returns was quick and efficient with no quibbles.

I ordered an item to be delivered to Go Outdoors, Swindon specifically for an impending holiday, unfortunately the item was incorrect. I returned to the collection store after my trip to return and that’s when I experienced, without effort, outstanding customer service from both Darren & Chris. The item was refunded and a very satisfactory resolution found. Fantastic atmosphere and an amazing team.

We go to GO Outdoors Swindon to get all of our bedding the the horses and everything is always well stocked and well priced, the staff are super friendly and helpful - but that's not the reason for my review...

On the way to a competition, we broke down in our horse box and the closest place we could reach was the GO Outdoors car park. We had to abandon the horse box in the car park, so I called up to explain the situation - and everyone I have spoken to has been so kind and helpful!

It's taken several days to arrange a mechanic and the staff couldn't have been more understanding and we're absolutely blown away by their kindness.

A huge thank you to Rob in the angling department at GO Outdoors Swindon. He is incredibly helpful, approachable and clearly passionate about fishing.

Rob has been brilliant with my young son, always taking the time to help him choose the right products as he builds his fishing kit. He explains things in a way that Jacob can understand, while sharing genuinely useful advice about local lakes and fishing opportunities nearby.

It’s lovely to see someone take such a genuine interest in encouraging a young person’s enthusiasm for fishing. Rob always goes the extra mile, and his friendly nature and excellent product knowledge make every visit a pleasure. He is a real credit to GO Outdoors.

The quality of the products and the ease of purchase. Queried a price at the till staff very friendly and helpful. Helped me get what I wanted.

We went into the Go Outdoors store in Swindon. Julie helped me get a new riding helmet. Helmet have to fit correctly to protect a rider. Julie found the best match for me. She also took the time to properly fix the helmet for optimum safety. I will always go to the Swindon store. I couldn't have been any happier! Thank you Julie

I went into the store on the off chance that I would find a pair of shoes that would help me feel the ground and not slip. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet so need a thin sole. I was directed to men’s shoes and was greeted by Darren who was quite busy. In a few moments he suggested 2 types of running shoe and found them even though stocks were low in my size. Brilliant service and knowledge to find just what I needed.

Great store, lots of different brands and served by Oliver who was lovely!
