Staff couldnt do enough to help! Was served by eve who was very helpful and friendly!

I visited Go Outdoors Stockton branch for a pair of walking shoes. I was able to browse without any pressure and make my selection after checking for comfort and fit. I proceeded to the check out with my item and was served by Karen a very helpful competent and jolly member of staff. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Excellent experience all staff a very helpful and friendly, my first time using go outdoors and won't be the last, the saving you make through their membership is worth it for anyone.

Bought my first tent and the help was great, the amount of things I did not know that made me change my mind but so helpful to make sure we enjoy our experience.

Lovely store, well laid out & the staff were really lovely & helpful. Claire was great & helped us out sorting the membership too. So much cheaper than other camping/outdoors shops we usually go to.

One small mistake on the hanger for the size of the item we purchased.

I mainly buy things from the store, but order online when not in stock. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The reason for the lower rating is because I recently placed an order to be delivered to our local store and after 9 days I hadn’t received a notification of the delivery - I rang the store to seek help about this, and the item had been ready for collection. I mentioned to the helpful member of staff that I wasn’t notified when it had arrived and she informed me that they no longer send an email to say orders are ready for collection- customers need to log in to ‘Shop’ - which I am not familiar with. I cannot remember seeing this when I placed my order. This was very frustrating especially as I needed a quick delivery. I have made many expensive purchases from the store since it opened and haven’t had any problems before - I would just prefer a notification email. Otherwise I would still recommend Go Outdoors - 5*

I was served today by Jason, Mark and Karon.
From Jason's first introduction he was so helpful, very knowledgeable and made me feel like he was really listening and taking notice of me and my requirements. Jason's introduced me as a customer to Mark, who he thought could help and offer me better guidance due to his experience. He was right. Mark helped me with factors I didn't even know were required. He was very honest, extremely knowledgeable and helped me with my confidence more than I think he knows. From my first question about shoes to Karon's very courteous, friendly and polite service on the tills I can't rate the service I received highly enough. Thankyou.

Apart from the store having everything I needed must mention the staff, Karen was so helpful and nothing was a problem

Go outdoors Stockton was extremely busy it’s so popular. The way the store is laid out and variety of clothes and equipment to suit your outdoor adventure needs is easily provided for and at a reasonable price. The hardest thing is which one do you choose?
At cheque out Eve our assistant was superb and patient whilst I had to reset a password code. Now it’s time to go camping again!

Karen served me today . She was brilliant and even recommended places to go on my camping trip . Great service

Visited the Stockton store to get a replacement pump for our tent we had misplaced, I couldn’t praise Rob who helped us enough, he went above and beyond! Not just for his help but his kindness and generosity. Never had customer service like we received from Rob this day. It made our day. So thank you again.

Visited the portrack store for fishing gear. Went upstairs and asked a member of staff about fishing trollies. He was uninterested and not helpful. When we went to the checkout we were served by Millie who could not have been more helpful and provided service with a smile! Very refreshing. Well done Millie!

Lots to look at. Initially I was just browsing but I was impressed by the range of goods on display and bought a dress. Staff were busy and Mia at the till was pleasant and helpful.

Ordered online. Didnt receive an email to say it had been delivered to store. Only found out by popping into store and asking where it was, Then got top home, and was stained and dirty. Wont be ordering from again.

Helen helped this novice to buy her first pair of teva sandals. Despite serving other customers at the same time as me, she was polite, careful to listen to my needs, and kind. I didnt feel rushed or that I was too much trouble, though it was a busy Sunday. In all, excellent customer service and one happy shopper!
