GO Outdoors - Stockton Recensioni 

Had a shopping trip to go outdoors Stockton today,shopping is not a favourite pastime of mine as I suffer with stress and anxiety and don't travel very well and also don't do crowds of people also. But having my wife and best friend with me helped to calm me enough to get what we needed. We didn't get pounced upon when we entered into viewing items but when we asked for help and advice about different items shoes boots etc the staff were very helpful and informative, nothing was a problem for them in fact I found the experience quite calming and for me that's hard to say.
Have to rate this as a 5 star shopping experience.
A special thank you goes out to "Rebecca" a beautiful young member of staff who assisted myself and my wife and her best friend to help us with the purchase of items we needed 100% professional and deserves a medal and a huge bonus for dealing with the three of us at once.

Great service from the young lady finding me size 8 ladies and size 9 men’s walking shoes, think I tried on 9 shoes before finding the perfect fit.

Claire on the checkout was cheerful and helpful renewing my members card and reminding us about the blue light discount.

Good price and easy to collect at store and avoid postage costs.

Took my daughter to go outdoors - we bought coats and walking boots which took a long time to try on and choose etc. we looked around the tents and gear. The items are great quality and the staff who served us were absolutely fantastic. We spent nearly £500 in just this one visit. BUT Just got a PARKING TICKET through the post charging me £60 for going over your two hour limit by ELEVEN MINUTES. No signs to say you have a Limit? 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 I have shopped here a lot over the years and never had a ticket before.

Update - Go Outdoor complaints team contacted me quickly and were very helpful. Sent me to shop to arrange for the ticket to be waived.
So with the parking ticket not an issue - I was very impressed with the original lad that sold me the bike, and very happy with the bike. Only not 5 stars because of the problems with the parking which feels totally unnecessary- the shop is on a big sprawling trading estate, not in a city centre.

Unbelievable that I have got a £60 parking fine from this company. Bought a bike for £386 plus accessories for my 11 year old son. Because there was going to be 3 of us in the car (me, wife and son) plus a bike, we took 2 cars. Unfortunately the bike wouldn't fit in either car so my wife drove home with son, and I rode 9 miles to get the bike home. I went back for my car straight away and was only in the car park 2 hours and 11 minutes including the time it took me to ride 9 miles home, then drive back to Portrack. I now have a £60 parking fine. That is no way to treat a customer who has just spent the best part of £400 in the shop.

Lovely young lady at the checkout called Phoebe. Very helpful and pleasant.

After ordering on line I visited the Stockton branch to collect my order. The young man on the desk was very helpful, polite and offered to carry my order to the car for me as it was very bulky which was really appreciated .
Little acts like that make such a difference when shopping.

Still not received order. Been 2 weeks and had no notification its ready to collect. Had to purchase elsewhere.

I visited Go Outdoors on Stockton on Tees I am very impressed by the whole set up. I have purchased a tent footprint for my current tent Vango instant classic I think it will just about do the job but in the near future I hope to purchase more items

Easy to order, had to return the item, but simple process exchanged at Stockton Store, really helpful staff..

Amazing experience today! The shop had everything I needed, and the service from Claire and Karan was outstanding. You can tell they love their jobs!

Went to the Trainers/Boots section today at the Stockton branch. We wanted to buy my husband and myself some new trainers. We were helped by Rebecca. She was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. We would happily go back in the future. Thank you.

Staff were informative on what boots to buy for a walk along the Brecon Beacons.

Exchanged a pair of defective walking shoes that were bought only 5 months ago . No quibble exchange allowed me to buy a different pair of different make . Staff very helpful and made the whole experience very stress free. Served by Hollie!

I came to buy some walking shoes and was helped by Helen. She was so helpful, friendly and keen to help me find what I was looking for, which I eventually did!

Popped in for one thing and as always left with a few bits more. Had a lovely chat with Fay while she served us, making sure we had everything we needed and also chatting about all things camping. Really lovely to deal with and very friendly. Credit to the company.

A lovely young pleasent young man in the fishing department stop stocking his shelf's to help me and stayed with me to find what else I was looking for even though he had other customers waiting then at the till I was served by gay what a beautiful and polite young lady she was it was overall a great experience to visit your store today thank you and your staff and keep up the great work your all doing
