The internet was down when I called for my order. They explained they were unable to take payment, stated that I’d already paid but unfortunately not able to scan.

Rang Customer Service and explained I just needed to collect, wasn’t local and would be a 66 mile round trip to return.
Lady at customer services rang the shop to see if they could help.

Shop staff agreed to let me have my coat, took a photo of my paperwork and woohoo 🎉 I got my coat

Thank goodness common sense prevailed.

Today I was helped by a lovely lady called Jo , she went above and beyond to help me find the right jacket for my needs in my budget . Jo is so knowledgeable and gave great advice . I’m very indecisive and she was kind and patient plus we also had a giggle . Jo you are a star 🌟

Well laid out store with what you need and helpful staff

Went in for children’s coats for back to school and was serviced by Heidi &Eleanor and I was blown away when she explained to me everything about washing them because I had no idea waterproof coats needed to be washed carefully. 10/10 for customer service! Will definitely be back at Stockbridge go outdoors again.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. They were very knowledgeable and offered advice only when I asked for it, which is exactly what I want when shopping. Anna and Penny were great. Luckily Stocksbridge is my local go outdoors. But I'd definitely make the trip if it wasn't. Couldn't ask for better service.

Fantastic customer service from start to finish. Staff are very knowledgeable and the lady went above and beyond to help. Highly recommend a visit to Stocksbridge, other stores "local" to me in Barnsley aren't this helpful.

Excellent support from both Andy and Penny made our visit easy answered any questions.

3rd time I've ordered stuff and 3rd time it was poor. Go outdoor staff great but system v poor.
Ordered 6 items, days afterwards got txt from bank to say some money had been refunded. This left 5 items. Received email from outdoor to collect balance of goods but only received 1 item. Was called back 48hrs later to collect remainder. Not good at all

Very helpful as we couldn’t find my membership so I paid for new one.. then noticed I had a fob on my key ring..
The stores in Norwich that set me up put my address incorrect which is why they couldn’t find me….
So a credit was done but an Error on payment happened… no problem at all as sorted out as soon as they realised… great customer service!!!!

Steve from the footwear department was incredibly helpful today. Really nice genuine guy and very knowledgeable.

Steve, Lauren and Phil were brilliant, knew all the ins and outs off all the tents, bivi bags and sleeping mats, listened to what I needed and talked me through all the options and possible combinations. Great guys, amazing service, I would have been lost if I had just bought it online.

We were upstairs in the footwear department and Steve helped us out, he was attentive and informative, gave us so much information on our shoe choice, and recommended alternatives it was a real pleasurable experience and we left happy with our purchases. To top it all off at the checkout the member of staff honoured a charity worker discount code we had. Great service, friendly staff.
