Simon was very helpful and friendly helping to choose some gear for my daughter

We were served by Stuart who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable!
He helped me easily understand what the best product was for my criteria without being at all pushy!

I visited the Shrewsbury branch today to purchase a new down jacket ready for winter. Sharon in the clothing department was more than happy to help me go through the options she was informative and gave me great insight between the different choices of jackets as well as being patient when I asked to try on multiple sizes. We went for a mountain warehouse jacket in the end and I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase! Shrewsbury branch is excellent, all the staff are always happy to assist. 10/10

Ordered online. Item ready for collection when visiting the store. Item was too big, exchange for another size was not a problem.

Maya patiently took us through our clothing requirements for an upcoming trip to Antarctica. It took three visits to the Shrewsbury (Sundorne) branch before we finally made the relevant purchases, but she still managed to keep a smile on her face, despite all our ummming and aaaahing. Well done GoOutdors for employing staff as good as Maya!!

The staff in the main Sundorne Retail Park Shrewsbury store are not very helpful. You have to keep pushing for assistance, for example to check stock for different sizes or alternative options.

been to go out doors mainly for fishing tackle, every time i enter the isle, i’m greeted by a lovely chap simon, being new to fishing he’s given me all the guidance to hit the ground running

Didn't have my size in the store, went online ordered quick and simple, store pick up at Shrewsbury was easy, very friendly staff.

I’ve collected my vinted parcels from go outdoor in Shrewsbury and many many occasions
I’ve always found a member of staff called Lee to be exceptionally helpful and pleasant
He never waits to be called over to serve he is always paying attention

Shop assistant saw us waiting at the till waiting to be served. Ignoring the fact that the customer in front of us had a query that was taking time to be resolved. After approximately 5 Minutes, he opened a till and gestured us towards the till, Very curt and unfriendly young male individual announced the price. I paid and no further communication was received. Not impressed by the customer service’ I received today.

The service i received whilst shopping was excellent. Lee was polite and very helpful. He found the shoe's i requested even when i needed a different size. He provided information on the make, performance and also explained other models as I was looking for waterproof footwear for walking long distances. He was patient when I tried a number of different styles, nothing was too much trouble for him.

Fantastic service from Simon at Go Outdoors Shrewsbury

I went into Go Outdoors Shrewsbury this evening after visiting a local fishing shop, where I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of fishing equipment on offer. I left without buying anything because, to be honest, I didn’t really know what I needed!

When I got to Go Outdoors, I was standing there staring at all the kit and scratching my head when Simon approached me. What a difference that made.

I have very limited knowledge of fishing and was looking for some kit for my son’s birthday. Simon was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to understand what I was looking for, talked me through the equipment I actually needed, explained how to use it, and gave me loads of really useful advice. He also knew the particular fishing venue I’m taking my son to very well, so his advice was specific and genuinely useful rather than just a sales pitch.

Simon is clearly an absolute expert when it comes to fishing, but what really stood out was how willing he was to share his knowledge and make sure I understood what I was buying.

I ended up spending considerably more than I originally intended, but I walked out with everything I needed — and, more importantly, a much better understanding of fishing that I can now pass on to my son.

Thank you, Simon. You were brilliant and a real credit to Go Outdoors.

We needed a new waterproof coat for my son who’s doing dofe. Billy was a huge help in deciphering the various terms to be able to compare across brands and price ranges. He was really polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He’s an asset to your store.

Billy spent a lot of time with us helping me to decide which walking trousers, rucksack, duffle bag, headlamp, power bank and sleeping bag to use when climbing Kilimanjaro. Without his time & support I would not have known which items to buy, within my desired budget.

John was so helpful in helping me choose the right shoes for what I needed and very knowledgeable.

Needed new walking shoes. The member of Staff named Stuart was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products on offer. My new shoes are Fabulous cheers for your help Stuart. I would recommend this store.
