GO Outdoors - Scunthorpe Recensioni 

I went to the Scunthorpe store today to buy walking boots. I was helped by Jane who advised on my choice, brought the size I needed and a box of socks to help me make sure I had the right size. Then Jane took all my clothing I was buying to the tills for me. Jane was fab! Then at the till, we were served by Nicky who was helpful, chatty & polite. From start to finish, we had the best service - thank you Nicky & Jane :)

Really well stocked and it seems that GoOutdoors are back this summer, prices to rival the big online sites but with staff to advise and product to take there and then. Special shout out today for Nicky who couldn't be helpful enough, taking a load of stuff for me to put behind the tills as I was struggling, doing a price match and then sorting a change of house number on my card.

Really impressed by the staff and service.

Rush visit to the shop to get camping essential clothing, helped by Jane who was lovely and made it a pleasant stress free experience , suggesting items and checking stock.

Great service in Scunthorpe as usual. Reminded us about the Blue Light discount, which I always forget, so many thanks. Served by Danni, lovely friendly service 😀

Carol was incredible. She came all the way over from the other side of the store to help. We wanted a tent for a trip and for the future. She explained the options and the real price of each option(which is rare) she explained all the extras that would help with no pressure. go out doors is definitely the place for camping gear at a reasonable price. Thanks Carol. We will be back to get the full kit soon.

My dad came in today for a waterproof coat, Jo came over to ask if he needed any help, and she was very informative, friendly, and helpful.

Then at the till, Nicky was brilliant too.

I recently purchased a tent online and had a nightmare experience.
The order was never processed and after 3 phone calls to customer services who weren't very helpful I eventually managed to get my order but only from the help of the staff in store.
Scunthorpe store staff, they were fantastic.
A massive thank you to Anna and Josh who delivered excellent customer service. They went above and beyond for me to get my order sorted to make sure I got it in time.
They are a credit to the store.
Also thanks to Nicky who served me and helped with the membership that wouldn't work. She got that sorted quickly.
They all helped make a stressful situation better.

We turned up with less than an hour to closing, bad timing I know, It made no difference to the staff at all, Robyn helped us, she was brilliant, fun, chilled and knew her stuff, we wanted to start a new set up, chose a 5 man air tent, Berghaus, a full size picnic table and a kitchen set up, the prices already matched or bettered amazon, with the £5 membership card, so the card immediately pays for itself, no brainer, then because the picnic table and kitchen were on a bog off, we saved another £50 odd quid, great place to shop, great people, they leave you to it, so no pressure but they are there to help and advise, I would highly recommend a visit you get to see all the main purchases like tents and basic equipment set up, so you know exactly what you are getting and headroom etc.. so pleased we went.

Thank you Max for pointing in the right direction for the products I wanted, had a great chat with you and left happy, also thanks for the paddleboard locations, will try them soon

Fantastic service instore today. Some of the friendliest most helpfull staff ive come across. My local store is derby .this smaller local store had more friendly staff and a genuine interest in the customer 👌

We have made two visits to the Scunthorpe store with roughly four months between. On the first occasion Maxine assisted is and today it was Hannah. Their advice, built by years of experience outdoors, was frank, insightful, critically informed and very polite. Customer service excellence is what we were lucky enough to receive, to the extent that tomorrow I will be purchasing my Burghaus 400 air and all the necessary equipment as we start our outdoors holiday future. Jane was polite and asked if we needed any help we asked for sale items and she showed us where they were .she was helpful with finding the right sizes .

Friendly polite staff and to make it even better they had the OEX ultralite chairs in stock and on offer at buy 1 get one half price. It was just a little bit hot inside the shop.

All staff I encountered proved to be very knowledgeable answering the questions and enquiries that I posed.
I would certainly recommend Go Outdoors and I'm already planning my next visit.

Paul helped me choose some walking shoes/ trainers.
I have mobility issues and wear heal lifts etc. He recommended certain makes and gave me different options and ideas .
