Had what I wanted. Very helpful assistant, Anya, was great at sorting what I wanted out and sorting any offers I could get.

My wife wanted some waterproof walking shoes suitable for roads. We are doing a charity half marathon in London in May. Veronica helped us with a lot of information and suggestions, including insoles and socks. She was able to provide good advice because she has tested so many of the products that they sell.

Anya provided truly excellent customer service! Informed, helpful and patient, always with a smile as we tried on multiple pairs of hiking boots and checked out other equipment and clothing. Excellent choice of both boots and other hiking equipment in store and we ended up buying what we needed despite intending to try other stores for thoroughness. There was no need.

Had the item I was after, although I probably should have brought it online as I could have used Bluelight discount for the item online and told not allowed in store. I know it’s not a huge disappointed as you get a decent amount off with the Go Outdoors Card but I didn’t understand why I could use Blue Light Discount online but not instore. I only brought instore as I required the item that coming week and did not know the delivery times.

Helped by Ciaran today. Very helpful, got exactly what we wanted and at a reasonable cost.

I was served by Ciaran on Saturday 29th November. I wanted some advice on walking boots. He was amazingly helpful. He helped me narrow down my choices, got multiple sizes for me to try and had great product knowledge. I purchased a pair of boots that were perfect. I don’t often write reviews, but you so rarely receive exceptional customer service these days it’s worth the effort. Thank you again Ciaran.

Ciaran going above and beyond in helping me to purchase gloves for my husband. At my request he tried on the gloves so I could get a better idea as to whether they would fit. He pointed out the price saving if I became a member and then said I was eligible for a further discount being a member of an outdoor organisation. It was his outstanding customer service that ensured I made the purchase and signed up to be a member. I will be back

Ciaran the assistant who served me was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had already bought new ladies walking shoes but they were so uncomfortable that I had to buy another pair. An expensive mistake but I’m happy with the second pair thanks to expert guidance.

I went to buy a women parka today and Luciana and Veronica were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They gave me advice about different brands, product features, and made the shopping easy without being pushy. It's difficult to find this level of customer service nowadays!

Went to get a daypack for hike/trek on a Saturday afternoon at Reading store. The store was quite busy and as I was scanning through the backpacks, the staff assisting a lady approached me if he could help me to find the product I was looking for, after he finished helping her. I got my product and he swiftly processed the transaction within secs. Found him (Mr Ciaran) very friendly and made the process effortless. Many thanks to him and Go outdoors.

Visited Go Outdoor Express Reading, as i needed a new pair of new hiking boots. I was served by Veronica and she was great. She was extremely knowledgeable and did not force a sale of any particular product or accessory. Information was given and I was allowed to decide at my own pace.
