It's now our outdoors shop of choice!
We found everything we wanted and Gareth was super attentive and helpful. He even noticed that we are National Trust members and pointed out that this meant we could get an additional discount. Will definitely be our outdoors shop of choice from now on.

All 4 of the lads working today were very helpful and gave great service. got some good advice on shoes and aftercare or the products.

Good experience
Another very good experience at go outdoors in Porthmadog. 3 young lads who looked to be running the shop were very quick to help and make conversation with me, which ended up in me leaving with 2 more items than I intended! Always have a good experience here with staff some of the kindest I have come across.

waited to be served not because there was a queue but because the 3 staff were more interested in their conversation and seemed not to have any awareness of customers ... there was a lack of customer service skills also in the perfunctory, almost to the point of rudeness, manner of processing our items and then walking away.

Found exactly what we were looking for, which we nearly always do, the staff were helpful as always , they are a really happy and professional bunch in your porthmadoc store! The shop is well laid out and alwats clean and tidy no matter what the weather !!

Proper customer service
We went looking for walking boots. Phil came over, and we spent a good 30 mins trying on and reviewing boots. He was informative, polite, knew his subject well, spent time to explain and make recommendations. Others could learn a lot.

Well laid out shop, plenty of choice.
Good store, plenty of choice and well laid out, shop staff friendly and helpful. Had a good choice of sizes of fleece jacket I wanted to purchase.

good range of waling boots but no one to help me with any knowledge. the two staff i spoke to were friendly though . however while i was being served another member of staff was talking to my server in welsh . 1 he was interupting me. and 2 i suspect it was to make apiont as i was english in a welsh shop.

The Team pride themselves on trying to deliver the very best service to everyone and apologise for interrupting whiles you were with a colleague.
Welsh is the teams 1st language is spoken in the store to each other and to many other customers.

Helpful staff
Staff are very helpful and friendly and allow time for you to make a decision without pressure. Although I found what I wanted eg walking boots stocks of other items were low.

Regularly visit the store in Porthmadog for outdoor clothing and equipment. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. I can order online and collect from that store if not in stock there.
