We were out camping and needed some new pegs ( we broke some as we moved from one site to another. Go Outdoors happened to be there and had what we needed in stock. I could take the dog in with me so it worked really well.

Excellent service by the lovely friendly man in porthmadoc nothing was too much trouble.. didn't catch his name😊

Informative and very knowledgeable staff who were eager to assist in every enquiry. The person serving me was so helpful in providing advice on item purchased.

I bought some clothes to take away with me early the next morning only to find that the sales assistant hadn’t removed the security tag from both parts of socks. This was surprising because it should have set the alarm off which would have alerted him to his error. It was 6pm when I realised this and I was twenty miles away !!! So when I return from my trip I’ll bring them to the store to sort this out

Poor customer service.
Travelled 1.5hrs for a click and collect. I was told on arriving there was no stock and then laughed at when I asked what they could do. I asked for a customer service phone number, which they could not find.
Wiorst go outdoors I have been in avoidnlike the plague .

Excellent choice and exception service very competitive pricing.
Porthmadog store

Visited the Porthmadog store. My wife was looking for walking sandals and walking trousers.
Found the sandals and asked the assistant if she could try a couple from the display.
The assistant had to go into the store and returned with the items. As he handed them to my wife he obviously saw a mate, not another member of staff, l looked, and just cleared off and left her to sort things out. Did not return just stayed with his mates.
Fortunately for go outdoors she liked the sandals and we found a pair of trousers too, which was good value because we have a discount card.
Always had good service previously at this store, Betsy coed, and Shrewsbury.
The one star is for the product not the service.

Shop was very well laid out. They had everything i was looking for and more. So far i think i've spent about £500+ in the last month and every penny was well spent.

this time was very good but a few days previous a different young man served me and informed me that you no longer did calor gas which i had registered through you so i said what can i do as i was told to pick it up on the day i went in . and was informed that it wasnt his problem and i should ring calor. his tone was abrupt and wrong very rude

The Manager and staff are always very helpful, and go that extra mile to explain, and show me how to put tents up. If I've got the right size gas bottle, small things like that. Always very pleased with the service I get.

I was in on Monday and the store was very busy but also very fully stocked. Usually shop at the branch in Manchester but the staff here were much kinder and Alfie offered very good service. Alfie kindly explained to me that my membership had ran out and renewed it for me which meant I could get all the brilliant offers! Keep it up guys!
