Matt in Plymouth help me replace some fishing equipment. Very friendly & knowledgeable about fishing in the Devon area. Thanks Matt great advice.

Went into Plymouth Go Outdoors today looking for trousers with cut off for zips and to talk about electric bikes. First class service from Matt who listened carefully to what we needed and explained what we needed to look out for . Would definitely recommend.

Really nice customer service with Megan S help me with my purchase and even pointed out my blue light card as well , excellent

Ollie was superb in helping select new walking boots - knowledgable and attentive. Pleased with the Meindls Iended up choosing after trying six different options.

So much was out of stock in my size (medium).
It blows my mind that a company would invest so much in promoting a business, then when customers arrive, there’s no stock in common sizes across so many items (e.g. tshirts/trousers) - and its been like this since I started looking regularly a couple of months ago.

Staff are always excellent, but the queues can be ridiculous - especially when someone has a membership issue (I’ve turned around and left a couple of times when I’ve seen a long queue).

I wish there was no member pricing, it’s just a nuisance, and makes it look like you’re cheating non-members. If membership were a good idea, every shop would do it.

I also wish there were a seating/coffee area for family members who are bored waiting for one enthusiast.

Good shop though, I’ve bought loads lately (would have bought twice as much if you had stock in my size).

Went in with the mother-in-law who has decided to join a group of cold water swimmers !! Crazy lady, anyway she wanted a Dry Robe and Go Outdoors have a huge range of products to choose from so she found what she wanted and away we went.

loved all the selection available, lovely deals on got a few bargains. was served by saffron and she was very talkative and friendly, had a bubbly personality which made our experience better! will totally be coming back soon!

We for the first time in Plymouth today saw Matt on the fishing section, i know all the staff do their best to help but Matt is an experienced fisherman and its a breath of fresh air to see somebody on that section who really has an interest in his section, as always good products at a good price 👍

I visited the Plymouth Store today wanting some advice about walking boots - my problem is that I am a size 3 and often find that walking boots of this size are made for children and consequently do not last me for more than one season of 6 months or so. After a chat with Simon, I settled on some Scarpa women's Gortex boots that were not only super comfy but fulfilled all of my requirements.
I was even more thrilled when I was served by Steph at the tills who told me that they come with a 12 month guarantee!
I would never usually treat myself to walking gear at this price but I was absolutely trilled to be able to use my blue light card alongside my go outdoors card to get a discount.

Overall I was really pleased with my visit to the store. The staff were so helpful and polite and really informative.

Click and Collect was easy with next day service.The staff were efficient and friendly.

I have just visited the Plymouth store and was attended to by Matt. He was very helpful and demonstrated an exallent knowledge of the fishing department. He is a credit to your store.
