GO Outdoors - Penrith Recensioni

TONY IS ACE.

Penrith.

I feel that it is a bit sad that people need to be reviewed.

Just let them get on with their job!!

Tony served me today what a great guy he even managed to upsell me ,very knowledgeable and I left with what I consider the best product for my requirements a great experience all round

I went to buy a pair of walking boots, Tony served me and was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, I would recommend this shop

Michelle was a great help in the foot wear department. Lots of excellent advice from a very experienced person .
Thank you.

My second visit in three days and was looked after by the ever so helpful Michelle again who very kindly went for so many different pairs of walking shoes for me to try on. I eventually found a pair that fit my feet well and purchased them. I would like to point out that Michelle really does know what she is talking about. I tried certain shoes on and she pointed out where they didn't fit correctly and I'd be better trying on something else so I did until we found the right ones.

Excellent service on the shop floor from Michelle, fantastic product knowledge and customer service and snacks for Loki the pup!

Thank you, Michelle!

Excellent service from Philip at Go Outdoors in Penrith. He helped us assemble our bike on the very day and we were able to leave the store with it, even supporting us to load in the car. Thank you for your help and support.

Michelle was e extremely helpful and knowledgeable when we were buying a pair of hiking boots

We visited Go Outdoors in Penrith on Friday 4th September 2026 at 15.21. Wow what a fabulous experience - all staff were so helpful and could not do enough for us. Especially Zara who advised us on Freespirit jackets and their uses, and served us. Nick who sorted our awning pole and Richard who sorted us a trolly and showed us where to go. Very clean and tidy store. A credit to the group - thank you Mr & Mrs Boardman

We went to penrith store to look at walking shoes, we knew we wanted Merrells. As we were looking a gentleman called Tony, came over and gave us some good advice and was very knowledgeable about the shoes, which with his advice we purchased them.Tony is a fantastic part of your penrith store. Well done and thank you Tony the shoes are great.

Michelle was very helpful and knowledgeable about the different types of shoes. Thank you

Shopfloor staff were very helpful and prompt. The store did not have the right size for me so staff explained how to order things in. The manager was then really helpful to ensure that the boots I'd ordered arrived in time for me to collect on my preferred day. And remembered me when I arrived in store.

Michelle served my husband and I. We were looking to replace our walking shoes. She was helpful, obviously understood the pros and cons of the stock and gave us great service.

Michelle was professional and gave good advice regards the boots I was looking at.

We needed extra sides for our Coleman gazebo not found in our local branch or online. We planned to visit the lakes so we called the Penrith store who, thanks to Zara, secured the items for us to pick up days later. She was so pleasant and helpful on the phone we knew she could be trusted to deliver. Picking up the items her colleagues confirmed that she is a force for good and great to work with.
Keep it up,and best wishes for the future.

No comms. No mail telling me the goods had come to the shop. I had to call to check. If I don't turn up asap, the goods are returned to the central unit. They had been in the shop for a week without my knowledge. Not impressed.

Michelle, who served me with Scarpa walking shoes, was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, as she always has been in the past.

Tony helped us pick out a pair of boots, he made sure that we were happy with the ones we had chosen, told of lots of information about them and how to measure if they would be correct for hiking, he was very knowledgeable and a lovely guy to chat to. He made us feel very welcome. 5 stars for Tony! :)

We would like to thank MICHELLE,for her help in finding my wife a pair of walking boots on Saturday 29th August 2026 , She did settle on a pair of Peter Storm boots we joined the card scheme and got a hefty discount Thanking you Michelle.

I called in to the go outdoors at Penrith today to buy some new walking boots. Michelle served me, she was very friendly and helpful, as well as extremely knowledgable about the different brands of boots, eg how they tend to fit. I am very happy with my purchase.
