Very helpful and friendly. Charlie W was amazing searched the entire shop for my size and made the entire process smooth. Would definitely recommend, thank you Charlie.

The two members of staff went out of there to help and were very friendly and chatty. Sadly that doesn’t happen enough these days - well done!

We met two members of staff that worked really hard to help us make purchases Gloria who search high and low to find the right size jacket from the store room and Charlie on the till very engaging.

I was collecting an item and a member of staff was immediately available to assist me. I was able to try the item on to make sure of the fit. All in all fast, polite and friendly. Great service, especially now that you have a store in the Arndale.

Great First Experience at Go Outdoors – Arndale Centre, Manchester

This was my first time shopping at Go Outdoors in the Arndale Centre, and I had a really positive experience. I ended up buying a pair of trainers, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

A big shoutout to Laiba, who was absolutely lovely! She made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. She helped me find a pair of trainers that are both comfortable and suitable for my daily lifestyle. Her friendly and knowledgeable approach made a real difference.

I also appreciated that the trainers I chose weren’t on my Palestine boycott list, which gave me extra peace of mind with my purchase.

Overall, a great shopping experience – I’ll definitely be returning!

We were greeted by a lovely lady called Louise to show and guide us through the footwear available for running and the free foot scan they had in the store to show best appropriate footwear from the scan for size & shape of our feet. We were very impressed by the knowledge & information given by Louise and was so delighted with the recommendations from the scan & Louise’s input. Highly recommended, Louise was professional & so helpful so it’s a 10/10 from us for this service & choices we had to accommodate our requirements. We only went in to see what was available & ended up coming away with 2 pairs of suitable & recommended running trainers. Thank you & we can’t wait to try them out on our running journeys 🙏👍

Louise was nothing but helpful went above and beyond to help me find the right pair of shoes I needed and spent a good chunk of time talking through all the options and providing me with as much information as possible. I felt looked after and left the shop with exactly what I needed. 10 out of 10 Service.

The young man who helped me choose the correct footwear is called Alfie. Lovely young man with exceptional customer skills and really knows the job. Although he is a student working part time he was very knowledgable. After telling the health problems, he assisted me to the measuring machine to make sure he could suggest the correct footwear.After a few questions from him, he came up with the perfect footwear straight away.A pleasure to meet this young man and receive such good care. Definitely a credit to you. I think the young man who took payment etc, was called Chelle W, Also a really good customer care attitude and really nice guy. You should be proud of both of these employees.

We needed shoes but going in we were not sure what we wanted but Louis helped us to find what we needed. She ran back and forth numerous time to find perfect shoes for us! We ended up getting one pair each. Louise was also very knowledgeable, as I needed specific type shoes for during my pregnancy. Thank you Louise.

Louise was absolutely incredible. Really helped with our decisions. And even ferried around trying to find all our sizes and colours! She was really knowledgable and kind!

If i could minus stars i would. I had a terrible experience with this store. I ordered a tent, chairs and mattresses for a festival with their click and collect service. It had been 7 days (it said it will arrive in 3-5days) and i had got no confirmation so i called them and explained i needed it that day as i was going to the festival early tomorrow etc. they were unprofessional and gave no information then said can i call you back. They never called back so we then showed up at the store when we arrived in Manchester. They said it wasnt there and everything else was sold out and told us to check the other go outdoors in ancoats. We then arrived at the other one and they told us they had been speaking to go outdoors (arndale) and told them they didnt have it so they sent us on a goose chase for nothing. Luckily the other shop were helpful and offered us discount for the hassle but we still had to rebuy everything the day before the festival! We were lucky we even had £150 pound to spare but overall awful experience with the arndale store. After calling now to get a refund on the initial order they were so useless and rude on the phone. So unbothered and told us its gonna take a month or more to get the refund. Absolute joke of a shop DONT BUY THERE!!!

The shop assistant called Gloria was really helpful knowledgeable and pleasant.
It is always a joy shopping when she is on the shop floor.
