Great service, caught me at a good time. Very helpful

Denise kindly spotted us two lost souls, wandering the isles in search of refuge from the rain. She gently guided us towards a suitable yet very affordable range of jackets. Once we were happy with our selection, we were once again guided towards the checkouts. Where we met the lovely Dani. She explained that although our membership card had sadly expired, we could give it a new lease of life for the princely sum of £5. What a time to be alive. Once the deal was done, we confidently strode off into the sunset(sorry p*****g rain) safe in the knowledge we had 15000 of waterproofings on our side.

Went in looking for a water proof coat and Denise helped me find the best coat to keep very dry as I was working outside and was mindful of price

Max and the rest of the team were extremely helpful. His expertise in helping me choose a tent was so useful and his advice was great.

Went to Ipswich store. Scott, helped up select the correct bike and helmet for my daughter. Dan built our chosen bike for us, he helped us add extras like, bottle holder and bike stand too which was so kind. They helped us so much. All within 30mins! What a great store and great people.

I was shopping for shoes with my father and Ashley helped a lot by checking we had the right size for him and that they were comfortable to walk in. Thanks Ashley!

Popped into Go Outdoors today to buy a pair of Scarpa walking boots and was looked after by Dani , She was super helpful, really patient, and gave great advice without any pressure at all. She made the whole process easy and helped me choose the right pair.

After that I was served by Matt at the till, who was also really great — friendly, helpful and professional.

I visited Go Outdoors Ipswich to look at some new hiking boots. I asked Denise to help me pick some out, she listened to what I was looking for and what I wanted to use them for, and gave me some suggestions. I tried a few pairs on and she advised me on how they should feel and how much room is needed in the toes etc. Thank you Denise for your expert advice! Thanks as well to Matt on the tills who was very friendly and helpful.

Buying a pair of walking shoes/boots is quite a difficult decision because of the amount of choice, various features and price differentials.
I was served by Denise who helped me make the right decision. Not only was she knowledgeable, she listened to me about my requirements and showed remarkable patience with my fussiness.
As a result, I am delighted to have bought the right boots for me and delighted with the outstanding customer service I received. Thank you Denise.

Really good customer service provided by Denise when we called in today looking for decent walking shoes. Denise gave advice on the sizing and fit of the shoes which was very helpful. Great product knowledge too. Both my husband and I purchased a pair each. Happy customers. Thank you.

Popped in to get a flogas refill and was helped immediately by floor staff. No waiting to pay at the til either. Everyone was very helpful and friendly to my disabled father too.

On 5 January 2026 I went to Go Outdoors,
Ipswich to find and buy a suitable pair of walking boots. I was served by Celeste who could not have been more helpful. The store had a good selection of boots in the sale at good prices. Celeste knew about walking boots, and was attentive, polite and professional.

Ashley served me to buy some walking boots. What made the visit memorable was he was a walker himself and was able to advise me on the best boots to buy. He did not rush me and made sure the fit was correct before I purchased. You do not see service like that very often.

Ashley was super knowledgeable on sorting me with the right pair of new boots. Not only explaining the differences in the different boots but why these features are important for what I am doing with them.
He was also super approachable and friendly.

Dan was great! He was very patient and friendly when I was looking for a new pair of walking boots and knew a lot about the different brands and technology. I must have tried on about 6 different pairs so nothing was too much trouble. I can't wait to start trying them out! Matt was also very helpful and effecient.
