Very helpful staff member of staff called Edd at the big Inverness branch. helped us purchase a new tent he was knowledgeable and didn't try to sell us something we didn't want or need. We were also served by a lovey guy in the smaller Inverness shop in June and he was helpful and happy to answer any questions

I went into Go Outdoors Inverness on my way down south with a number of questions, as I wasn't sure what size / type of sleeping bag to get for my granddaughter who would be attending Magnitude Festival the next day. Thankfully, some very helpful staff were able to give me some very precise advice on what to get.
Also the type of camping chair I needed, wasn't in the place where normal folding chairs are kept, but with perseverance, the staff were able to find a suitable chair that fitted my needs.
I find that chatting to experts in store is so reassuring and gives me a confidence that on-line shopping could never give.
So thanks very much indeed to Kasia and Giles.

Bought a travel bag fron you
Bought a travel bag fron you, which never got delivered.
The have to wait up to 5 days to get my money back, really screwed my life up as I now don't have a bag to travel with, I can't afford to but another one as you have my money

It is upsetting to understand that you did not receive the ordered item from us as expected. We strive to provide excellent customer care to our customers and we are sorry for any frustrations that my have been caused.
From reveiwing your order we can see that you have been in contact with our customer care team who provided a refund for the order due to this being lost in transit. We do advise to allow 3-5 working days for this to show back on your account from the date issued.

Fantastic service and knowledgeable staff
Edd was absolutely fantastic. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and made our search for a tent easy. He answered all our questions and went above and beyond by giving us ideas of what the living space would look like for us when the tent we were interested in wasn't available to view. Thankfully with his advice we found a fantastic tent and can't wait to go camping now.
