We found some amazing deals today! Susan, who served us at the counter, was very polite and knowledgeable. Susan made our visit amazing!

Easy use website, used click and collect and was ready same day.

Order tent footprint and carpet package off website. Received quickly. But only had to buy it online because Clydebank and Coatbridge showed stock but couldn’t find the item.

I enjoy going into go outdoors and see what I can buy love it and the staff really help you

Big shout out to Chris "mohawk" Ross on helping us confirm that the Berghaus Adhara 700xl was the tent for us. We are seasoned campers and were looking for a bigger tent to add to our collection for longer trips. Chris spent time with us and explained everything. Top guy with no sales pressure at all. In fact, so much so, we also came away with the Berghaus Adhara 300! Also a shout out to Chloe on the tills. Great shopping experience!

Ii was assisted with a girl called Sophie. Customer service was outstanding. She's a credit to go outdoors!

Had a pair of Merrell Goretex boots that had failed me on a hiking trip to Bute. Soggy wet feet were not what I expected!
I dealt with Alan in the Clydebank branch and he was so good. Such a nice man with old fashioned manners. He offered me the choice of swapping for another style/brand. I went with a straight replacement and left the shop very happy.

Ross C was awesome, knowledgeable,patient and a king among men of the cycling retail side.
Go outdoors have won a watch employing this chap. 10/10

I had some split tent poles that I noticed from my last camping trip. On visiting Go Outdoors a worker called Chris R said no problem, he can fix them by Thursday. I got a phone call at 1pm on the Thursday saying they were replaced and all connected with the others. Fantastic guy and excellent customer service. All the other staff I met were all great as well.

I have a membership card, the website is not accepting that I have one, the site,
If you would prefer to speak to someone you can call us on 0330 008 1555. Automated with no facility to speak to a human being, so dissapointed with this, the shop will not get the items i want, they have assured me that the email and card are paired. NOT VERY HELPFUL.

We went in today to get some tent poles fixed and we were served by David C. He was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us out. Great customer service and very knowledgeable about the products on the shop floor. David is a credit to the store! Thanks mate!

I went to Clydebank branch to pick up a water proof Jacket and trousers. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. At checkout I had a " love2shop" voucher, but was unable to activate it.
Ciaran on check out checked my phone and found I had'nt logged into the vouchers security set up. He talked me through it, and I was able to make my purchases.
Ciaran, as well as all the staff on the shop floor were top class and could'nt do enough to help me.

I don't normally leave reviews, but the service I received from Laurence at GO Outdoors today absolutely deserved one.

I came in looking for hiking trainers that were water-resistant, breathable, and had really good grip. Laurence listened carefully to what I needed, talked me through the different options, and never once made me feel like he was trying to rush me into a sale.

What really stood out was that after I'd tried on one pair, he took the initiative to bring over two more pairs that he thought would suit my needs even better. He wasn't asked to do that—he simply wanted to make sure I left with the right boots. One of those pairs turned out to be exactly what I was looking for, and I'm genuinely delighted with them.

Laurence was knowledgeable, patient, approachable, and clearly takes real pride in helping customers. It's becoming increasingly rare to receive service that feels so personal and genuine, and he made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish.

People like Laurence are the reason customers come back. He's a real credit to GO Outdoors, and I sincerely hope his hard work and attitude are recognised because employees like him make a lasting impression.

I had a fantastic experience at GO OUTDOORS Clydebank when purchasing a roof tent. Chris was absolutely excellent from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable and took time to check the roof tent was fitted safely. I would highly recommend GO OUTDOORS for anyone looking for quality gear and outstanding service.
