Chris was very helpful and friendly.

I’ve had great difficulty in finding wide foot fitting boots. I have used your on line service and also purchased & returned boots to your shop as well.
Unfortunately the country boots I bought were lovely to look at but no where near wide enough on my foot so had to be returned. Your staff at the Chesterfield Branch were absolutely amazing, helpful and polite!
Well done to them - although I wasn’t able to find the correct fitting boots this time, I will certainly be back for other items!

Chris the shop assistant at Chesterfield branch was very helpful and patient in helping my daughter get the right back pack for her travels. He fitted the back pack for her too. Thank you.

Shockingly bad. I bought a pair of Peter Storm sunglasses from Go Outdoors. They broke on the 3rd wearing. It is fortuitous that I wasn't doing anything active at the time, as they shattered by the bridge, exposing very sharp edges right close to my eyes. When my spouse took them back for a refund (yes, she had the receipt with her, and the card on which they were bought), the store supervisor claimed they must have been sat on (not true), accused my spouse of lying, and refused a refund.
Next stop, trading standards.
I shall never shop at Go Outdoors again.

Edit: 29minutes 10seconds on the phone to customer services to be told that issuing a refund is down to "store discretion" as is still being refused - with a repeat of the false claim that I sat/stood on the glasses. Absolute denial by Go Outdoors that the product is dangerous. Unbelievable!

Very helpful staff. Well stocked shop. A variety of clothing from basic at affordable prices to the more expensive top quality.

Asked for advice on an expensive purchase and an assistant who knew the information I required was called. She was very clued up on the product and explained everything I needed to know and more. Helped me with all the details I needed to know so as to make a decision. As always the staff at this store go above and beyond. That’s why I purchase all my outdoor clothing etc from here. Jodie at the till is always friendly and helpful too. I’ll certainly continue to shop here

Really great service from Go Outdoors Chesterfield. Richard provided helpful advice in the choice of walking shoes and Athena quickly sorted a payment query at the till. Very pleased with service and products.

We visited the store today and every member of staff was willing to help, very knowledgeable and polite. From the man on the shoe section , the young lad stocking the shelves and the man on the till. Chesterfield store should be very proud of their staff team

You have sent me this request when I have NOT received my item! I have had so many problems using your firm recently that I will be thinking twice before using you again.

Everything l wanted was available in my size and there was loads of choice. Spacious changing room and l wasn't rushed to finish in there. Very helpful and friendly staff member at the checkout, Athena

This was a better experience than last time (2 months ago in Chsterfield) when a gaggle of gossipy staff girls were standing around doing nothing. When I asked for help (where something was) they reacted like I was some kind of creep intruding on their space. Like I’m 61, married and was with my son?? At least wait for a guy to ‘act’ like a creep before responding towards them like they are.
As it is - I’m just a customer.
This time was better - it was a guy who served at the till and he let me reboot my membership before my purchase.

Fantastic customer service as always. Great staff at chesterfield. Didn’t get the guys name but been seen a couple of time by him now and always happy to help and very knowledgeable with his job.
