Sammy was brilliant, so knowledgeable and helpful. We were deciding between two tents and he advised us and was patience and put a tent by for us for a couple of days so we didn’t have to rush the decision. I was served by Britney anatyrell who was very helpful in explaining the products I was interested in (a tent and a waterproof jacket) ensuring that was looking at exactly what I wanted. She then put me in touch with the assistant who was looking after shoes and boots (who quite frankly didn't seem interested) whilst she took my tent to the checkout. Finally she was very helpful with my Waterproof selection

Today was the first time my experience of Go outdoors wasn’t great. I am eligible for Scout Association discount & was very much made to feel like I was doing something wrong.
I was asked to provide some scouting identification, which is to be expected, but when I showed my card I was abruptly told ‘ it was out of date’ I tried to explain that we don’t receive cards anymore because of sustainability & that I also had an email with my membership number on, which had sufficed every other time I had shopped in store.
I feel that if Scouting discount is to be offered then it should be done so in good faith. & maybe staff could actually listen when something is trying to be explained
After 22 years of volunteering I would expect service that didn’t leave me feeling upset.

I needed to buy some new walking boots. I have difficulty finding comfortable footwear due to a former operation on one foot.

Tyrell went out of his way to help me find what I needed.

The boots felt right from the minute I put them on. I’ve already been for a short walk.

We had such a positive experience today thanks to Jakub on the till.

From the moment we reached him, he was professional, calm, and genuinely attentive. Our order was quite large, over £1400, but he never made us feel rushed. Instead, he took his time to ensure everything was handled carefully and smoothly, which we really appreciated.

What stood out even more was his awareness of the wider customer experience. As the queue started to build, he proactively requested additional tills to be opened, showing real initiative and care for everyone waiting.

Jakub made what could have been a stressful checkout feel easy and even enjoyable. A real credit to your team, thank you for such excellent service.

Went into the Bedford store on my way to work to get some laces for my hiking boots. I was in a bit of a rush. Nearby to the boot area was Callum. He was very friendly and helpful with the information I gave him (which was probably quite limited) as I didn’t have my boots with me. He gave me advice on what length would work and went through the different options.

We recently bought our first tent and found the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. They gave us advice based on our needs and worked with us in terms of budget. We visited both the Bedford store and Milton Keynes store. We will use both stores again

Very quick delivery,have just started using the filter so will not know if they are good for as long as Go outdoors states.They are well made and easy to fit.

This Go Outdoors store was really clean and tidy, with plenty of room between clothing rails to get wheelchair/mobility scooter through. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially Kate who gave great customer service. Thank you.
