This shop is as asset to Altrincham. A really friendly store with a good level of stock. The staff are really welcoming and really know their stuff about the different clothing and equipment. I was served by Claire who was really helpful in getting the right clothing for my next hike sorted.

Great service at the Altrincham store…
I went into the Altrincham store looking for a shorter length waterproof jacket and was served by Claire, she was very knowledgeable and found exactly what I was looking for. Claire then told me about the aftercare from the manufacturer- all in all very pleased with service, will buy from here again for sure

Recently paid £27 (£18 each, but buy one get one half price), for 2 camping chairs. Order cancelled not long after and a refund of £9 was stated in email. Never received the refund or chairs.

We are sorry to hear that your order was cancelled shortly after the order was placed.
After checking your order we can see that the order was cancelled due to the stock being available at the selected Click & Collect store.
When a order is placed on a Click & Collect Express service the stock will need to be available to fulfil the order from the selected store. As this was not available the order was cancelled and a full refund has now been issued back to the original payment method.
We do hope we’ll have the opportunity to restore your confidence in GO Outdoors and provide a much better experience in the future.

Brilliant staff - excellent experience buying new boots
I came in looking for a pair of hiking boots, the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and the selection of boots on offer was good.
I spent about 45 minutes buying a pair of boots and was served by Claire and Christine, who were both amazing at helping me meet my very specific needs, and very friendly as well. I will be dragging my wife here at every opportunity in the future for our outdoor needs.

I went in on a busy Thursday lunch time…
I went in on a busy Thursday lunch time to look for some walking trousers. Ri and Claire could not have been more knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They answered all my ‘silly’ questions with kindness and patience, something that is lacking in their competitors store in the town. When it was time to pay they realised that I was on my lunch break and made the transaction a super speedy process, whilst still checking I had everything I needed. Thank you Ri and Claire, from now on I will shop here, not at your competitor, you made a difference.

The staff are always very helpful. They go above and beyond to help and always put customer service first to keep customers returning.

Wonderful service from Claire. Very personable, engaged, efficient and reassuring. Great advice for navigating a DofE kit list. Good range of products and plentiful stock. Affordable in-house brands plus top end brands at great prices, including Osprey, Salomon, North Face etc.
