DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS FAKE COMPANY!!!!! Just been advised by the golf club I tried to book with that the voucher I have is a scam!!!!!!!!! do not book with them!!!!!!

"Voucher expiry dates can be extended. " this is not the answer we got back in June 20 , My voucher was from 15/06/2019 to 15/06/2020 remember Covid really hit in March 20 and golf courses closed . This Crowd could not be contacted to deal with enquiries despite several messages but a week after the expiry date they came alive to say that they wouldn't give an extension , tough luck and goodbye !! Now they say they can be extended ....but it took an EU Law to force them so if they are genuine in customer care then show it and offer to extend mine now or better still give my money to a charity !!!

I purchased a voucher for my father as a gift as it’s advertised as a “play anywhere voucher” which sounds as though the voucher can be used at numerous golf courses. The catch is you actually have to book the golf course on your own bank card and redeem the cost which seems pointless in purchasing the voucher. Both myself and father have emailed customer service with no reply and there’s no number to call to chat to anyone. A bit of customer service to assist customers to utilise the voucher would be much appreciated.

I requested and got my money back as I misunderstood the process, this is not a normal voucher which you can use at the golf course, you have to book (and probably pay for golf again on top of the voucher cost) and they will then give you the voucher money back (probably) when you contact them 7 days before you plan to play.

IMPORTANT: You have to complete a Redeem Voucher template with your bank details and a lot of details about the golf trip before. "Please note that 7 days’ notice of your reservation date is required. This period is to enable us verify your reservation details and issue voucher funds."

I am assuming they make their money by making it difficult to redeem and a lot of people either don't try and recover the money or the voucher runs out and they lose it.

My voucher was also sent to SPAM and I didn't get it in time for my father's birthday so had to buy something else as all their correspondence also went to SPAM.

I would recommend to avoid this company and purchase a real voucher that can be used like cash and is not so convoluted.

I ordered a vouchers for my partners birthday and chose the gift card. It’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t received anything even after emailing UK customer service. I have received no reply.

After buying a voucher and then deciding to get a refund I attempted to contact the 3 email addresses on the website within 14 days of purchasing the voucher - info@golfvouchershop with co.uk, .ie and .com (this review site doesnt allow full emails to be included in the review). I still havent heard anything from them, there is no other contact method. I have sent mails multiple times and checked all spam folders etc and I havent had any mail from them. I would advise all to stay away.

Just tried to book a couple of golf courses that are listed on the website and both of them stated that they knew nothing about the scheme. Based on this I suspect it is some sort of scam so save your money and pay the clubs directly!

I needed to use my gift voucher in multiple venues, when i emailed the customer service team, they replied in a timely manner and went through the whole process on how i could use my one voucher on 3 different courses. A great service and I will be definitely use this company again.

There was not an option to give zero stars so I had to give one!

I had a £100 voucher received as a present at Christmas 2020 that was due to expire 17th December 2021.

I thought that due to the Covid lockdowns the voucher would be automatically extended as had been the case with a number of other vouchers I had received from retailers.

When I tried to use it on the 21st March 2022 the company said it had expired and could not be extended as it had expired so for my £100 gift I got absolutely nothing while they pocketed the £100.

I suppose I should have guessed that I needed to request a voucher extension during it's validity period!

Do not use this company. Have reported them to ActionFraud. They do not respond to submitted voucher claims and follow-up emails. Please avoid.

I purchased golf vouchers as a Christmas present. Unfortunately due to a postal delay I had to cancel my order. I could not fault the customer service. They responded to my queries very quickly and efficiently. My refund was applied with no hesitation. Very friendly & helpful. I would be happy to order from this company in the future.

We have had a very good experience with this site,any queries we had was very quickly dealt with.I would certainly recommend it without reservation.

Due to Covid and lockdowns I haven't been able to use by its expiry date. Late one evening I contacted them to request an extension. To my surprise and delight I received a very fast response from Alison who offered to help me and after a further exchange of emails the voucher was duly extended. Thank you so much for your understanding, great service, politeness and assistance.

This Is a brilliant website! Very helpful and efficient. I accidentally ordered an email gift card when I wanted a hard gift card. This was quickly sorted out by Alison. Additionally, these gift cards are an excellent idea for people who love golf and are difficult to buy for. I highly recommend.

Very disappointed with this company. I bought a voucher for €200 for my Dad last year. The current pandemic and associated lockdown of March - June meant the voucher was unable to be used in those months. However the company refuse to re-credit my Dad with an additional 3 months. Seems like a very short term view for a business to not even attempt to help their customers at this time. Their customer service has been very unsympathetic in our correspondence. I wish I had read the trust pilot reviews before buying this voucher. Do not recommend their product/service

This is not a reputable company by any stretch , they operate without any moral compass waiting to skim your money , I have a 200E Voucher and like the other guys couldn't use for the past 5 months with covet closures and I could'nt contact them They have no address and no contact no. operating in the shadow of the the web , guess what!! as soon as my voucher expired the came alive to claim the cash . They have not provided the service they sold me . They should not be in business give them a wide berth .

I'm not one for leaving reviews but in this case I think I have to. I received a €200 voucher as a gift for 'Golf anywhere' from this gift voucher shop in June, 2019. I'm an extremely keen golfer so the people that gave me the voucher had were very thoughtful when they bought it. As I was doing a Masters at the time and time was extremely tight, my fiance and I decided we'd use it to stay in a hotel (which I was advised I could do if they had a golf course attached) once I got my Masters finished in March 2020. Once I finished in March, Covid19 hit and for obvious reasons we were unable to book anywhere. We parked the thought as there was so much uncertainty out there but in May I emailed them to make sure my voucher would be ok to use once things 'returned to some normality'. I didn't get a reply from them. I didn't push it as at the time so many jobs were being lost and people's lives were at stake so our hotel stay was insignificant. I left it until late June to contact them again as golf clubs and some hotels were beginning to re-open after the lockdown and some normality was trying to return. Long story short, they waited until July 1st to tell me that my voucher expired in June! To say they have been unaccommodating is an understatement. I thought that as hotels and golf clubs were closed for almost 3 months that common sense and good will would prevail with this company but unfortunately it hasn't. Their argument is that 'The golf voucher shop remained open during the pandemic' and 'the option to redeem a voucher was always available through the pandemic'. How could we redeem it when there was nowhere to go with it?! No golf club to play in and no hotel to stay in! With the benefit of hindsight, my mistake was I didn't pursue them vigorously during lockdown when they ignored my enquiry mail in May. But, that's not the type of person I am! You can make up your own mind on this company but my advice is to stay very far away from them! It's a great idea and I was delighted to get such a gift but this company are sly and unhelpful.
