Michelle was so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I had gone in at a friend's recommendation. She had had her engagement and wedding rings oh so gently cut off, she wears them continuously, the needed making a little larger. She was so overjoyed with the results and how clean and sparkly they were. Hence her recommendation. So, I had taken my friend's silverc necklace for cleaning. Thus had huge sentimental importantance to her that I was a little nervous. There was no need as Michelle certainly knows her stuff and enjoys doing it. Would highly recommend this establishment for purchases, alterations, cleaning and more. Very happy customer.

First of all you do not answer messages left on an answer phone and you do not have someone on the end of a phone line.

It took too long to answer my email to you as in the ad you said purchase would arrive the next day.
The earrings were not good quality. Extremely thin gold . Butterfly x 2 to hold earrings are so tiny.

I went into Brighton shop today to have wedding ring cut off as due to arthritis my finger was very swollen and I couldn’t remove ring.
I chose this particular shop as it also has an onsite workshop so has the right tool to do the job.
Tim, the goldsmith, was able to remove my ring in 2 or 3 minutes and there was no pain or charge.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I will return to have it resized in a month or so when finger has settled back to normal.

Well I was there on Tuesday afternoon asking advice to Katy Laura and Mark regarding a ring I bought from a jewellers that is no longer open and they were amazing with help and advice even though I didn’t buy the ring from them, I would no doubt in the future go to them for a purchase as I know that they would be the best choice

They did what they promessed.

When our weddingrings were made in a short time, only had a week, it was not an exact copy of my husband. But I needed the ring. They promissed me that after the wedding I could bring it back and they would make a new one.
It was exactly as I wanted it to be. Including the diamonds I wanted to be put in.
They were very friendly. They only charged me an amount for the diamonds. I am very pleased with them and recommand this Goldsmit.

absolutely amazing experience recently with gold arts. I had a engagement ring from a different shop that was basically poorly made and the shop would only keep repairing it to which i decided to just find somewhere local to get it fixed. I come across gold arts who looked at my ring and gave me great advice going forward and told me what they could do to try make my ring more sturdy. I left it in their hands with a 6-8 week wait for the work to be done, 2 weeks later i got a call that it had been repaired. the work done on my ring looks fantastic and like the ring shouldve looked this way from the beginning. great communication, great staff, personally spoke to the goldsmith who was very informative and only wanted me to get the best out of my ring. thank you guys so much!

On enquiring about a ring I had seen but no longer available, Gold Arts informed me they could make one for me. Their patience in responding to my queries as I live in York and not been to the shop to reassure me that the ring would be made to my specifications and to fit alongside another ring.
Communication was great, gave me various pricing options also.
The ring was posted to me and it was truly exquisite, exactly as imagined.
The Sapphires are lovely in colour and not too dark and are offset with stunning diamonds.

I’ve had a very poor experience with this company. I ordered an item of jewellery and chose express 24-48hr tracked delivery, but after a week it still hadn’t arrived. I then got an email to say I would receive a refund, but it seems I will need to chase that up as well.
Consequently, I wouldn’t recommend this company for online jewellery purchases, it’s just not worth the hassle and disappointment.
I note that other reviews (generally for in shop purchases) have been positive, and perhaps I’m the unlucky one, but the customer service has been poor for my online sale and I wish I had purchased elsewhere.
