Your guides onboard the ship did an excellent job, particularly Rudy and Srijahn.
I was disappointed in both Lisbon and Rabat our bus did not drive by the American embassies. And in Lisbon on the "after tour" we were not shown the world famous statue of former explorers from Portugal which is on their waterfront. Also, too much walking for 80+ year olds.

It was a wonderful experience! I love the way the tours were organized! Creating perfume was amazing! Informative & fun. Picturesque beauty. The surroundings! The places we traveled! I highly recommend
Nice, Monaco & Portofino to anyone! The alumni universities brought interesting people! At!

Very thorough, well organized. Wish we had a better hotel experience in Nice. Hotel was modern and sterile. Prefer something with more character and charm.

Everything about our trip with Gohagan was exceptional, but especially when I got norovirus and they helped to get us a hotel and change our flights so that I could have a couple of days to recover.

Truly outstanding experience. Hotel in Nice was fabulous, Gohagan reps were very attentive and ensured that all details were taken care of and local guides were first rate. But it was the Sea Cloud Spirit sailing experience that was exceptional-impossible to beat that. Jess Walter also was a tremendous addition.

Our stay in Nice, and the Mediterranean cruise that followed, were blissful. The Gohagan staff arranged everything so beautifully, and the local guides were brilliant. Only one regret: We wish the trip had been longer.

the cruise line was exceptional. My issues dealt with the excursions and the pre cruise component. The excursions were very rushed. they provided information but very little overview. Very hard to even take photos. No time to support local vendors and sent to large shops with high pressure sales especially in Morocco. Pre cruise, the hotel had nice rooms but the service was terrible! No Concierge assistance, lousy breakfast service...overall a bad experience. And frankly, only one GoHagan local specialist was any help at all. You can do better.

The pre-trip staff were great, but when we flew into Casablanca for our cruise, the quality of Gohagan staff diminished. When we arrived at the hotel meeting area, the Gohagan staff kept having us move our luggage from one place to another in the waiting area. There was not enough food for everyone. They seemed like this was their first trip to coordinate.
My biggest complaint was that my traveling companion and I were separated on two different full-day excursions on the trip. My friend was put into a group of eight people who did not experience the same excursion experience as the rest of us. Theirs was modified to be less that what the itinerary described and what I was able to experience. We were told that she didn’t get her passport number to them in time. The two of us booked the trip at the same time on a 3-way call. All information was given to the Gohagan pre-trip coordinator by both of us on this call. There were also eight people on the trip who were “given” this trip to Casablanca for free by Gohagan in exchange for keeping their money with Gohagan for a rescheduled Antarctica trip that had been cancelled in January. It seems very suspicious that these eight passengers took the spots of the other eight passengers, which included my friend, on the two excursions that we were separated on. These two full-day excursions were not as enjoyable for me with a group of people I didn’t know. The Gohagan staff on board the ship were not at all empathetic with our situation. This was my first trip with Gohagan and it may be my last!

First of all, I hope you will change your cookie policy so travelers can opt out. Normally when I click on a site that will not let me opt out, I quickly leave that site and very nearly did on this survey.
England is always a beautiful feast for the eyes: cottages with thatched roofs; quaint villages; Roman ruins; abbeys and Catholic Churches/cathedrals plundered and laid-to-waste by Henry VIII and others; cobblestone streets; ivy and wisteria covered buildings with slate roofs and chimney pots galore; historic pubs, inns, hotels, streets and alleys related to England’s civil war and various other wars; opulently furnished castles and “houses” surrounded by grounds with massive sculpted gardens and fountains; huge monuments; awe-inspiring towering churches/cathedrals filled with beautiful marble, intricately carved wooden pew “ends” and pulpits, huge paintings, gilded statues and crypt coverings, stained glass, crystal chandeliers, baroque organs, gold and silver all repeated in a smaller scale in chapels inside and historical cemeteries outside filled with sculpted yews/topiaries and impressive gravestones; the green green countryside with rock fences, roadside wildflowers, shrubs, hornbeam hedges, trees and pastures as well as brilliant yellow rape seed fields; and the strikingly beautiful English cabbage roses in various colors in gardens everywhere along with tulips, iris, peonies, lilacs.
We had traveled the Cotswolds before including Bath and other cities/sites not on this trip, but your trip was almost totally different. For example I was surprised at being told we couldn’t enter the library at Oxford as we had previously, visiting the entire book-filled multi-story building(s).
I was glad to see that the anachronistic rubber tires turned inside out, scalloped and cut into pointed tips, each tire painted a different color, and used for flower beds at the Anne Hathaway cottage had been removed😳🫤🤭
First time to have traveled with Gohagan. I signed up for the trip because of my lifelong interest in history and being led to believe from the initial publicity from Gohagan via UT Alumni that the trip would include seeing The Enigma Machine.
My dad having gone in Omaha Beach on D-Day, so I did find it interesting that the D-Day invasion of Normandy had been planned at Chavenage House. I wished there had been more items related to that. The collection of items discarded by churches used in the chapel at Chavenage House was interesting. Cromwell’s room🤷♀️… There is a very negative Cromwellian connection in my husband’s family…
The many brilliant poets and authors who populated or had connections to the Cotswolds is overwhelming. Many sites related to books and movies were of little interest to me, but apart from having read Tolkien the “Tolkien yew trees” at St. Edward’s Church are absolutely beautiful.
The Cheltenham regenerative farm gives one hope for a plastic, etc., free-future for the planet. It was fun making the horderves of flowers, curls of cucumber and other vegetables and gilding them with gold. (No wonder the deer eat the blooms off our dianthus, pansies, tulips, roses, lilies, etc.!) I’ve not yet ordered the Thermomix she used, but I have ordered and received 2 vials of the gold flakes like she used! I grew up on a polled Hereford beef farm so the beef tasted wonderful like I remember growing up.
It was a good trip with a couple of friends from church.

Very well organized. One of the leaders took care of all the organizer responsibilities and the other leader was dispensed wonderful knowledge with great personality. We were very well cared for and left well informed.

Gohagan did a great job with our pre tour of Marrakesh before the cruise. The hotels on both pre and post tours were excellent. However, staff could have done a more professional job with pre tour verbal presentations on ship, proof reading of projected computer information and clarity of explanations, especially on topics related to immigration procedures. More diligence is perhaps necessary on the part of some younger tour directors.

I just returned from an alumni association cruise during which we visited Casablanca, Spain, Gibraltar, and Portugal. Gohagan did a fabulous job of communicating with me prior to the trip through the passenger portal.
The Travel Directors were always available and extremely helpful in addressing any issues that arose (that were not Gohagan’s fault to begin with). Their calm demeanor assured a positive conclusion!
I look forward to traveling with Gohagan again!

We went on an alumni-advertised cruise to Morocco, Spain and Portugal, and added on the post-trip in Portugal. They took care of everything for us from airline booking to travel coordination every step of the way through the end of the trip. Food and service were wonderful. They quickly answered email questions. However, the activity level of this cruise was not described specifically enough. We would have preferred a more physically active level during the excursions off the ship. Also, although the cruise was advertised as going to Portugal, there was very minimal time allotted there. All of that being said, overall a great trip!

The last day of the trip was poorly planned. We spent 2 hours in Portomao, Portugal, which is a 3 hour bus ride from Lisbon. The ship then took a day at sea to Porto where we waited in a waiting room at the port for 1.5 hours to be transported to Lisbon in a 5 hour bus ride. We did visit a university town on the ride. However, why not go to Lisbon from Portomao in 3 hour rather than a day and 3/4's?
