Disgusting scammers trying to give me a ccj for none payment of parking invoice refused to listen to my case with evidence all for making money anyway they can need reporting to the ombudsman I am a taxi driver dropping a disabled customer at the collisium Cheshire oaks stopped in a disabled bay spoke to security explained I was just helping a disabled customer inside came out an 2 weeks later received a parking invoice tried to dispute with evidence back in 2022 not interested just want money received email 10/2/25 threatening court ccj if I don’t pay £177 within 30 days called office was spoken to with a disgusting attitude by staff this company is so bad they represent scammers should be ashamed

ridiculous and horrible, the government need to pay attention to similar solicitors and parking companies that do not respect disabled drivers, have no communications over the appeal, and have rude and disrespectful attitudes like criminal gangs push a lot of stress on me and my family, I believe the paid £170 will going to buy similar medicines like main for their families, it's not fair really.

This company pursue people with disabilities and mental illness obviously they can’t of had children my daughter in hospital over this company over parking in a disability bay not displaying her badge which she has now she’s in hospital with anorexia they have no compassion on anyone and like playing mind games with people when we go to court we will be taking her medical information to court they want to be ashamed of themselves

When we spoke just over a week ago they said send proof of condition which I have and there wernt interested

My daughters health is a lot more important than there bullying tactics

These so called solicitors are horrific. I'm dumfounded at how they haven't been taken to court themselves. Sent me hounding letters about a parking charge that I never recieced from UKParking LTD.
Then received a court letter requesting £307.20. It stated in the letter that if I paid the fee in installments I would avoid a CCJ. I filled in the form then received another letter from them to say they have issued me with a CCJ and that I need to pay the full amount within a month or bailiffs will be instructed.
I pity any vulnerable people or anyone who may be struggling financially as they will hound you with no moral compass at all. Horrendous unprofessional people.
My credit rating is now rock bottom due to these so called solicitors for something that I didn't do.

Neither Gladstone's solicitors or hx car park management are interested in there customers as on 28 June last year i parked in a disabled parking bay with the blue badge in the window as I had a blind lady in the car with her guide dog and when I parked the back rear passenger wheel was just slightly on the yellow line and a few days later I got a pcn in the post the photo was taken illegally as it was taken on a Samsung Galaxy s24 ultra which can be used to manipulate the picture when I called the company they were rude unhelpful kept putting the phone down and making threats to be fair it did scare me and the lady in question had only been in there for about ten mins in the curries car park in Halifax west Yorkshire the guy stood there on his phone and when I left the car he had then seen I had walked into curries and that is when he took the photo .. i am now having a complete night mare with this company the signs are there but the writing is very small and now there have sent me a summons to go before the court. It has now got to the stage where I have had to contact my local mp and he is now doing all he can to help me in this matter so if you do visit Halifax or live here make sure you check for the signs before u park it has now got to the stage where we now have to park else where and we have a blue badge please AVIOD THESE COMPANIES AT ALL COSTS AS ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS TAKE THE MICK OUT OF THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED PEOPLE LIKE I SAID IF U CALL THEM THEY ARE RUDE AND WILL NOT HOLD UP ON UR APPEAL THEY JUST SEND U TO COURT AND TAKE YOUR MONEY

I paid 20p to park but had recently changed my car and inadvertently entered previous registration, stupid I know. As it was a genuine mistake I sent my proof of payment and proof of car sale to the parking company. They ignored my comments and increased the fee, to which I resent my original letter and asked them to respond to it. I then received a penalty charge letter from Gladstone Solicitors for £160 and I sent a response enclosing all my previous correspondence. Naively I thought a reputable solicitors would see that my error was genuine and that I had paid the required charge and would find in my favour. I got an email from Gladstone Solicitors, with no reply to my comments, threatening legal proceedings if I didn't pay the £160. I am a retired person caring for a disabled partner and this has had a devastating impact on our finances and mental health. Maybe the parking companies and Gladstone Solicitors are acting within the law but they are totally immoral.

This cowboy company were acting on behalf of a local parking firm. They showed zero consideration to the circumstances surrounding the charge and simply pressured me to pay the constantly increasing amount else they would take legal action.

Anybody else going through a similar situation, do not pay the fine! Contact an independent body (IAS) and if your reasons are legitimate then your parking fine will be invalid. Do not give your money to these scammers. How they are making a living from behaving like this is quite scandalous!

Before writing this, I actually submitted a complaint to the Law Society, so let's see what happens there.

In short:

- We had two vehicles parked in a remote country car park.

- On exiting the car park, the payment machine was "out of order." However, a QR code was stuck onto the machine for patrons to make payments.

- Being in such a remote location, service is very limited, but we proceeded with attempting to make payments.

- Payment for one of the vehicles went through; however, according to Parkit Management, the second did not.

- Convinced that it had, and upon receipt of the initial fine, we requested Parkit Management to check both CCTV and their records to: a) Verify that a legitimate attempt was made to make payment. b) Confirm the card/account from which the successful payment was taken, as we could not find any record of a transaction to them.

- Hence, if we could locate the first transaction, we could determine whether the second one went through or not.

- Parkit Management replied with a generic, templated response, not answering any of my questions and threatening us that if we didn't pay the fine, they would forward the case to solicitors. Which they did.

- Gladstone then reached out to us, to which I forwarded my original correspondence with Parkit Management and my request for more information dated 12/04/2023. I received no reply.

- Then, on 17/01/2025, almost two years later, they have again contacted me, threatening legal proceedings! You just couldn't write it, could you?

I'm not going to waste my time. Threaten me all you want. We have been reasonable, replied to requests within days, and have simply asked for more information so we can legitimately investigate if a payment failed. Why would we pay for one vehicle and not another?

I have tried calling Gladstone circa 40–50 times, and the call just continuously rings out. If you email them, you don't get a reply aside from another threat two years later.

Joke of a company, and I would encourage people to just not engage with them and waste your time. They clearly are using bullying tactics to take advantage of people who don't have the bandwidth to contest if there are legitimate grounds to do so - don't pay them a penny! Vultures.

Put a judgement against us even though the claim was settled. Not sure how these muppets are still in business. Their parents must be so proud.

I called this company to dispute a debt claim from one of thier clients, Minster Baywatchn(another terrible company that does not respond to disputed parking fines).
When i started to raise the dispute the call handler was very abrupt and rude, asked if she could let me know what sort of information they required for the dispute to which she just cut me off and was quite aggresive in her attitude, raising her voice to me.
I eventually put the phone down on her before i responded in kind, as she offered no cuatomer service or assistance what so ever.
I then tried to use their online portal whch she told me i had to use, it kept failing saying there were errors and thet i needed to contact them with further details. I emailed all the eveidence for the dispute incuding photographs of the "out of service" pay machines and the fact there is no mobile network at the rural car park that tyhe parking charge relates too (meaning we were unable to pay by phone or even call to report the machine being out of order !, along with the errors that kept showing on their web portal...

There should be an organisation that can close companies like this down from operating, along with the rouge car parking companies that have no place in operating in the bully boy ways they do, and also fail in every aspect when disputing their spurious fines and charges...

Avoid this company and anyone associated with it like the plague.....

How these people sleep at night? Any company working alongside parking companies like Minster Baywatch deserves to fail and I genuinely hope that all employees of Gladstones and MB face the type of misery that my wife and I faced 100 times over. Hoe the government fail to address this gross unfairness is beyond me.

I have had an appalling experience with Gladstones Solicitors. Despite confirming with their client, **CPM**, and my landlord, **Riverside (One Housing)**, that no Parking Charge Notice (PCN) exists for my vehicle, Gladstones has continued to pursue a baseless claim against me.

Their repeated, unwarranted correspondence has crossed the line into harassment, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. This behavior is not only unethical but also a blatant disregard for basic legal and professional standards.

**Key issues:**
- **Failure to Provide Evidence:** Despite multiple requests, they have not substantiated their claim with any credible evidence.
- **Data Protection Breaches:** They mishandled my Subject Access Request (SAR) under GDPR, raising serious concerns about their compliance with UK data protection laws.
- **Aggressive and Intimidating Tactics:** Their persistent communication despite clear evidence disproving their claim demonstrates a pattern of bullying and harassment.

This firm’s conduct appears to align with numerous similar complaints found online, suggesting a broader issue with their approach to cases. Such behavior diminishes trust in the legal profession and highlights a lack of accountability.

I strongly advise others to document all interactions with Gladstones and escalate issues to the **Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)** and **Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)** if necessary. This firm does not represent the values of fairness or professionalism that should be expected from legal practitioners.

This firm is the pits of the pits - avoid at all costs, for any type of legal work. Money grabbing enforcement of parking fines, without any consideration, or any investigation of the circumstances, which in this case was the custody handover of a baby between parents. Somebody has to do it blah blah blah. Shouldn't have parked there blah blah blah. All that is wrong with our society - totally arbitrary and disproportionate (to the infringement) fines enforced by thugs.

I received judgement against me, my fault as I was away when the claim form was sent and so did not reply.

On receiving default judgment I immediately accessed the Gladstone on line payment system and paid the full amount outstanding on their system. This was around £25 less than the judgement amount but I received a email back from them saying that they would inform the courts in 7 days of the payment so long as the monies cleared of which they did.
I also called their telephone number to speak to them to ensure that there was no outstanding balance.
Six months my the later whilst applying for credit I found that Gladstone had not informed the courts as they said and despite informing me that the account was cleared it was not…
I’ve tried contacting them on this and not been able to discuss the matter at all. I now have a CCJ against my name due to reasons outside of my control..

Has anyone else had a similar experience ?

Wish I could give zero or minus stars, bunch of evil faulty robots. I don’t know how can they live with themselves. Makes me sick, stay away from them.

This company is a total scam, absolute jobsworths the lot of them don't know how they sleep at night.

I received a letter threatening court action from Gladstones solicitors, who are acting on behalf of Euro Parking Services.

I had been incorrectly charged the full amount of a PCN that I was trying to address with Euro Parking Services, but they were ignoring me.

I responded to Gladstones with all the evidence; after two months they have come back to me still saying that I have to pay the full amount, with additional charges, based on factually inaccurate, unclear and misleading information.

As they bank on, I have capitulated and paid the full amount, in order to settle the matter and avoid the stress of court action, which there is no guarantee of winning and could result in CCJ.
