I just had to give a shout-out to Sidney City for rescuing me from the website. My dishwasher died and I wanted a replacement a.s.a.p. The webpage wasn't responding and the online chat was not happening either (temporary technical issues). When I called and reached Mr. City he was pleasant, helpful, and patient. I'm expecting delivery and installation on Wednesday (just 3 business days), so I wanted to highlight my great sales experience today.

Another great experience with Gerhard's!! Thank you to Nicole who once again helped us with our purchase of a new Washer. Very knowledgeable and professional! Also would like to commend the delivery team. We were a bit of upset of the delay in getting our delivery, It was a day late and the delivery itself was late but the delivery team turned a negative into a positive. Our technician Oscar was amazing. Not only did he apologize he went all out and help my Wife clean the floor before installing the washer!! His demeanor and professionalism was outstanding.

I had an excellent experience with Sally Schagrin at Gerhard's Appliance in Malvern PA. She helped me select the refrigerator and dishwasher that are right for me, and was very professional in her approach. She was friendly and responsive in follow-up emails and phone calls and made extra sure that all measurements and details were correct before placing the orders. The delivery and installation of both appliances went smoothly and were on time. Sally did not try to push more expensive items. I didn't know exactly what I wanted/needed and she helped me find the right options. I recommend asking for Sally when looking for professional help with appliances!

We have been using Gerhard’s appliances for over 15 years for all of our appliance purchases. I went there the other day to purchase new appliances for a upcoming kitchen remodel. Nicole took the time to spend with me to answer questions and help me decide which products would be best for me based on my needs. We have always had great service and pricing is competitive. They stand behind the products they sell !

Prepare for the worst customer service ever
This is literally our experience with this company that we've given a ton of money to......
Bought a fridge, stove, microwave package. The salesman was very nice and accommodating in the store. When the appliances were delivered the fridge was damaged and we asked them to take it back. The delivery guys refused to put the old fridge back until bribed with cash. We called the store and the same salesman was suddenly not-so-nice. The replacement fridge kept getting delayed and when it was finally available Gerhard's refused to work with our schedule for delivery. When it was delivered it wasn't fully functional and the delivery men gave us "that's not our problem" response. Gerhard's gave us a hard time to come service the fridge, then scheduled 3 different dates and times for service without telling us. Fridge is functioning now but the oven stopped working and Gerhard's magically "no longer serves that area" when we told them where we live.
Recommend Gerhard's Appliances
I went to Gerhards Appliances on Sat 3/13/21. I had a very pleasant experience right from the time I entered the store. We are greeted and waited on right away. Sales person was Jordan Harris and my purchase went very smooth (washer/dryer). Delivery was scheduled for Thurs 3/18/21 with a 4 hr. window of 11-3. Delivery men (John & partner) were here on time and very professional. Set up was quick and efficient. I will definitely return when I'm in the market for a refrigerator. Great customer service!
One star is really too much
One star is really too much! Lousy customer service starting immediately after taking my deposit for $8,500 of Bertazzoni appliances. Delays, delays, delays, 10 weeks of delays - Ok so I'll cut them some slack since supply chain is screwed up due to Covid BUT the lack of communication was not cool. Weekly I had to email them to get arrival dates that never materialized until early Dec when they magically appeared in their warehouse - but wait, no we can't deliver them for another 2 weeks and we're so sorry that you haven't had a working refrigerator since Oct 23rd. Using ice coolers was just a blast for 2 months! When my appliances finally arrived in mid December, the ice maker didn't work. Called Gerhards - They sent FAST appliance repair out to fix it - the service repair man repeatedly said I never heard of this brand so he couldn't fix it Took another week to get someone else out here... He orders a bunch of parts that are on back order until MAY. So I won't have an icemaker from Dec 16th until the beginning of June. Next is my dishwasher which died the middle of January - figured this time I'll just call the factory for warranty service - 2 weeks later, the tech shows up and yep had to order parts that took another 2 weeks. Then the Range... The broiler works for crap. Called the factory three times and each time they referred me to the owners manual. Ugh! they finally agreed to send a tech out and yes it took 2 weeks to get him here. The tech arrived prepared, took the broiler apart and the parts he was told to look at by Bertazzoni weren't on my broiler at all so the tech calls them back only to be told that info was wrong and sorry we don't know what the problem is.... At this point I'm disgusted, $8,500 worth of brand new appliances to get crap! Bertazzoni is absolutely awful to deal with and Gerhard's is a coin toss behind them. BTW, be prepared to be told what a horrible human being you are if you state you are sick of hearing the excuses as to why the appliances are delayed, why they don't work, why there are no parts, why customer service stinks... Save your money and buy a different brand from someone else

I buy all my appliances at Gerhards.I own 11 properties and have never gone wrong for my rentals or personal.Whenever i need anything I call Pete Siegfried in the Doylestown store.Fast and efficient is what I like and Pete takes care of it every time.Thanks Gerhards! John Byrne
Washing Machine Purchase
I bought a washing machine on 12/28/20 and had a very enjoyable experience. Rich, my salesman, was professional and informative. My delivery went very well. The two men took my other washer and installed the new one in about 10-15 minutes and were also professional and courteous. I definitely recommend Gerhard’s! I went back because I purchased a refrigerator years ago and knew that they were competitive in pricing and handled everything professionally.
Avoid them at all cost-TERRIBLE
If I could give zero stars that is what I would rate Gerhard’s. They recently sold us a Miele dishwasher. We waited awhile for it to come. It wasn’t installed correctly and stopped draining after three weeks after arrival. Gerhard’s response: your problem. Do not believe the fake positive reviews on their website. Their customer service is the worst I’ve experienced. Avoid like the plague.
Knowledgable, friendly and professional
Worked with Nicole at Gerhard's Appliance and it was a great experience. I bought the Bosch dishwasher that fit exactly what I needed at a great price. I was also able to get a quick delivery/installation date, which was really important to me. I will absolutely continue buying appliances from Gerhardt's.

Washing machine arrived; not refrig, and NO EXPLANATION? Have now left FOUR (4) messages for Bill Slade, with NO RESPONSE????
Incompetent and non-responsive staff.
I'm giving it 2 stars because the delivery people were nice and competent. That's about it.
So I was sold a washer and dryer in September of 2020. The dryer worked great, the washer never functioned properly. The washer leaked and shook so violently that it broke the outlet in my basement. I purchased the extended warranty and had repairmen from Gerhard's come out multiple times (I believe 4 times, but it could have been 3). The last time the repair man told me "your washer is fine, stop calling us".
Well, I requested a new washer at this point. Clearly they couldn't fix it and it wasn't working. It would shake so much that whole machine would spin in circles. I dealt with the service department (who would never actually take my calls to call me back) and one day got an email that a new washer was ready for pickup in Fort Washington. So I had to drive an extra 15 miles, return the old washer and pick up the new one. I could pay for delivery, but after everything I think I should have had the delivery fee waived. I just agreed to pay the fee because I wanted this over with.
I was told the delivery would be 11/17. The day before No one called to tell us a time (like they said they would) so I called and was told they never actually put the delivery through and I'd have to wait until 11/23. I asked if there was any way to speed it up and was told I'd get a call back. No one ever called me back.
So, 11/23 comes and the driver gets there. But the washer was not on the truck. Apparently it got lost in the warehouse. Great, so now I need to wait even longer. I try to call to get help, no one will even speak to me. I needed to talk to a manager at the Ardmore store, but there wasn't one available. Finally, someone from the Doylestown location answered (since I was apparently being bounced between a bunch of different stores even though I called Ardmore) and he was helpful. He emailed someone then called me to tell me it will be here 11/27. The new washer finally arrives and the delivery driver notices the shipping bolts were still on the old washer. Which is why is shook so violently. Had the original repairman noticed this I would have had a working washer since September, my basement outlet wouldn't be damaged and I wouldn't have had to miss time from work to deal with the situation.
Oh, and after all of this time, energy and money I now have to pay to have an electrician fix my outlet you would think they'd offer me some kind of compensation to make it right?
Nope. I got nothing. I'll never use this company again.
I ordered a complete kitchen appliance…
I ordered a complete kitchen appliance set and had to have delivery in 2 weeks as the contractors i hired completed the job must faster than i expected. With the assistance of salesman David Reece i placed my order online and received all but the refrigerator in exactly 2 weeks. I’m extremely satisfied with the assistance of the salesman and the delivery man courteous, careful and efficient. I’m very happy with Gerhard’s and would recommend them over Lowe’s or Home Depot.

I'm writing this review as I sit here waiting in the laundromat $30 thrown away while I have a brand new (barely 4 months old) dryer sitting at home, and Gerhard's chooses to not help me. I wanted to support local businesses and now I regret my choice. I have been without my dryer for the last 3 weeks waiting on parts and still waiting!! Your customer service is horrible I asked to speak to a manager I was told they would call me back Never happened!! I was sent a tech 2 weeks ago, Who said to me "It could be 1 of 3 things wrong I don't know." Well 2 parts finally came in the mail today. I called to schedule an appt and was told " There's still a third part being shipped to you, it's expected to be shipped on Nov. 10th. You can call us to schedule an appointment after you get that part." While normally, I would understand waiting for parts, after being told they are unsure of what the problem even is and ordering 3 parts was for 3 things that "might be the problem" I can't comprehend why she was unwilling to offer me a tech appt. to at least come out and try these 2 parts.
I already waited over a week for my first appt, its been a week and a half since they came to look, and now I will be 4 weeks without a dryer or an attempt to fix it before the 3rd part even ships out. This is inexcusable, especially for a dryer less than 6 months old and for the customer service to be so lack. Don't waste your time shopping here, you'll end up waiting forever to get any further assistance when your brand new appliances break. If it was an option I wouldn't give them one star Due to the way they handled this from the start of the dryer malfunction
Gerhard sucks
Gerhard sucks! I get that we've got a pandemic going on, but really?!
We ordered several appliances in June. The sales guy was really rude until he realized we were buying several appliances, including a Kitchen fridge. They tried to deliver the first fridge in August--dented! They tried to deliver a second one in October--dented! (Hey, take a look at the crap you're trying to deliver to your customers, Gerhard.) Now they tell us the fridge will not be available until DECEMBER. Ok, so, back to the pandemic....but, In the meantime, loan us one of those dented refrigerators that you're basically going to give away anyway, Gerhard! Do you really expect your customers to be nice, when they have no fridge for 6 months. Pandemic, Gerhard! Work with your customers if you want repeat business. I could have gotten crappy service anywhere.
Very Disappointed
Purchased a gas wall oven over a month ago. They installed it broken which we didn't know until we wanted to use it. Service man came today, which we waited a week for, we were told that they installed a broken fridgedair gas wall oven. The man was here all but 3 minutes. And said we have to order parts. For a brand new oven. There is something wrong with that statement. They we're supposed to call me back today. Still nothing.
Very Disappointing
We totally remodeled our kitchen in 2015 and purchased all appliances from Gerhard's. So far our washer has broken twice, our microwave has broken twice, and now our dishwasher is broken. I called about 10 days ago and was told it would cost me a service call at over $100 for someone to come out today (October 22) and tell me what's broken. They may or may not be able to repair it. I have heard NOTHING about service today, no call for time, or anything. I can't call them until they open. Not only did the appliances cost a lot to begin with, it costs a lot for service when they break way too early. Very disappointing.

So I ordered a refrigerator on a Monday that they said was in stock and could be delivered at the latest by Saturday. I urged them to get it to me ASAP as I had no working refrigerator, mine suddenly broke. All my food was in a cooler on my back porch.
Saturday came and went, I spoke to Mr. Gerhard who said the shipment of fridges was late (despite being told they were in stock) and that they wouldn't arrive until Monday. He would try to get it to me as soon as they get delivered but my on paper delivery date was the following Friday. (This would put me just about 2 weeks without a fridge). I have 2 small children and have no remaining cold food or way to store food. This is very poor customer service. No triage for who NEEDS a fridge as opposed to someone ordering an extra fridge, etc. This is the last straw. I will never buy another appliance from this company as long as I live.
