Complete cowboys and scammers.got ripped off for £500.apparently they operate in the Trident centre in Dudley. Watchdog BBC have been contacted. Beware.this company will take your money and do nothing.

I would like to give George plumbing zero stars but the site won’t let me. Plumber arrived in a car with a few washers and little tools to repair or replace a kitchen tap. Quoted £68 call out . The “plumber” said head office would email the quote and instantly it came through at £460’!
To replace the tap!!!
This company is a total scam to get the call out and now reading other reviews I would urge anyone to avoid this company at all costs. SCAM AVOID

Sub contracts the job to other people. We were quoted almost £800 for a tap to be changed. We still had to pay a £60 call out fee before finding out it was this high a bill. Avoid.

I called this company to come and fix my disabled mother-in-laws leaking bathroom toilet cistern on new years eve. Two lads arrived and said they could isolate the water feed to the cistern or fix it. He rang his boss for the price to fix it, which was a crazy £950 after vat. I told them that was far too much money. They then offered to do the job for half the price if I didn't tell "the Boss" and kept it between us. We reluctantly agreed because it was NY eve. We paid the lads £547 by bank transfer and off they went. The next morning water was dripping through the kitchen ceiling causing significant damage. Rang the company up several times, only to be fobbed off. They promised they would ring back, which they didn't and then blocked my calls. The plumber who did the job eventually rang me at 2pm, by which time we had already fixed the problem by using a proper reputable local plumber for less than a quarter of the price they charged. Avoid these scam artists at all costs.

Job not completed.he visited three times and couldn't resolve the issue. He was already paid at first visit but the leaking later discovered not been resolved. . He left without completing the job..

Do not use these scam artists. Called for emergency toilet leaking on a sunday . They replaced bathroom sink which still leaks and the toilet bodged with sealant so still have the original problem. My husband who is disabled just wanted it fixed so we paid far too much for a bodge job. No invoice sent either. Reporting to trading standards and will go to small claims court if necessary .

Do not use. Charged £370 for a less than hour to replace a small plastic pipe. I was at work so couldn't see what the problem was. My wife was unsure said yes for the work.
It's not a family business as described. You call a foreign number and their contact a plumber.

Had leak coming through kitchen ceiling. Quoted £49 call out. Surprised to see that two men came out. Quoted me £400 for a quick job. I agreed. When it came to paying I was told it was £2200.
I was intimidated and ripped off.
The company are dodgy.

Needed kitchen tap looked at as dripping/needed replacing. Told £49 call out and then would be 'assessed'. Told would be here in half an hour he arrived an hour and half later, after we called and inquired were they were, he 'assessed tap' and quoted £400 to replace it and would have to order tap as he did not have taps with him he was asked to leave!

Complete scammers - AVOID!

It is a shame that we don’t have enough quality plumbers in the UK as my elderly Mother tried a number who were too busy to help with a leak and she ended up with these.

He charged over £600 for a simple small leak fix that they claimed was a big job on arrival (the original quote was far less but kept getting bumped up due to complications - typical scammer MO!).

He left after just over an hour, having had to borrow tools to cut a plastic pipe that didn’t need cutting and the leak is still present. No more than £10 in parts were needed and they no longer answer calls despite work apparently being guaranteed.

Please avoid. Trading Standards will be informed.

Since then, I have only had one issue, my fan stopped working. They straight away came to inspect and replaced the appropriate part.

George has provided a fast, reliable and professional service when called to an emergency situation.
His workmanship is excellent. Communication has been consistant and he is totally transparent with the work all throughout. Step by step accountant of what is been done, materials, time frames etc. I didn't have any issues.
Have already booked him for more jobs.

I wanted to leave a review but it’s all getting confusing. I made contact with The Louis George Plumbing 24h who then put me in contact with EMR plumbing. They’ve been out to my property, yes it was costly but the work is done. Very pushy for payment. What is the link between the two companies? Unsure. I’ve had to use them because of an emergency. I won’t be using them again.

I have called the main number back to ask how the companies are linked. Person on the other end got sheepish and said management would call me. So far nothing.

Updated 22/03 - agree with previous reviews. No call back still from management.

Scam company, George plumbing, M Plumbing or EMR plumbing and Heating. George seems to be manager and sent Aureliu . I don't know how my vulnerable relative ended up with this company. She called 3 local electrician numbers who didn't have anyone available, and yet ended up with these, who are advertised as plumbers in Maidstone though have a London and Northampton address as well. My relative believed they came from a legit local company she called because they called and said they'd be with her within an hour. (we don't live in Maidstone, Northampton or London) . We believe they were able to intercept the calls to other companies. George said it's because he's a "Google contractor". He claims that he works for Google. I asked for the company name, and he sent a link saying 24 7 plumbing Maidstone. This made no sense. The electrician they sent said he didn't know where they are based and only had a mobile number for George. He said they simply text to tell him where to go. Their phone numbers were not in my relatives mobile phone log. They charged £600 for 2 hours. They simply checked sockets and said one was faulty and switched it off. I've checked them on company house. 3 directors are listed with same surnames (brothers?) Dan, marius and vitalie Glavuta. I think they're a big scam outfit, likely with electricians and plumbers up and down the country who only have mobile phone contact. Possibly sponsoring the electricians and plumbers they employ to stay in the country. I've asked George to reimburse my relative for at least half the fee.Hes ignored me. I've put an alert out to local electricians to warn them. I'm speaking to Trading standards.

Georges work is of the highest standard and is very efficient. He always arrives on time and just gets on with his work. He is very very reasonable with his prices.
He goes above and beyond in doing things other than the job he came to do.
I would highly recommend his services and I’m very happy with the work he did

George has always come out to assist with my boiler and been reasonable with the cost. Last week the old boiler packed up and George has been amazing with installation of a new one at a price that was reasonable. I would always recommend him..

I truly believe that they’re scamers. I have ask for a quote on a install a garden hose they said will probably cost me around 1k if is possible but unsure of that and obviously I have refused the quote. And at the end they require me to pay a call-out fee which they have never mentioned.
So very clever to make money go around people quoting for ridiculous amounts and then ask for call-out fee , brilliant just do 10 jobs a day like this and you never have to work again.

George plumbing in Hammersmith should be avoided. They came to fit a new bath shower mixer, £190 plus call-out. The waste also needed replacement so they charged another £190 because it was apparently another job. The engineer was already in my house. It took 20 minutes. Horrible company.

This company should not be used. They are cowboys. Was charged for a leak that I had by the washing machine and was charged £180. Had to call out another plumber to fix the leak that the first plumber said he had fixed. I have asked for an invoice and a receipt which up until now has not materialised. Some of their call centre operators have been rude and I have even been cut off. Please do not use this company they are cowboys.
