Nikki was an amazing tutor on my recent one-day course. Her tremendous insight, combined with her extensive experience, made the learning experience both engaging and meaningful. She was warm, personable, and effortlessly connected with everyone in the room. Nikki’s ability to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere encouraged open learning, making the day not only productive but thoroughly enjoyable. Gateway Courses
I find Gateway to have a great variety of courses. They have great offers and the online tutors extremely helpful. Every course I have done has been very clear and concise with helpful video tutorials.
I highly recommend them! I find myself always going back to Gateway as they are very established and very professional.

ITECH Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage - Excellent!
I have recently completed an ITECH Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage with Esther Manning. To be honest, I was terrified before I started and extremely overwhelmed! I wasn't sure I would be able to complete the course but Esther was amazing and broke the whole course down into manageable chunks, she also made the course very fun and enjoyable and her confidence in us as her students never wavered! She believed in our abilities more than we did!
I passed the course and the A&P exam and now awaiting my certificate but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this course and Esther, she is one of the best tutors I have ever had!

An Excellent Course!
I was really impressed with the range of courses available at Gateway Workshops. After choosing my course in Sound Therapy, online registrations was really simple. This was followed up by a personal email from my tutor, Kate Parish. Kate was available for the duration of the course, responding swiftly with very helpful, friendly correspondence.
The course content was excellent, providing full and detailed information in an engaging manner, with each subject building upon the last. Guidance to further studies and enquiries in the subject was really helpful. The final assessment was a chance to review learning and consider our areas of interest.
I will certainly be looking into further Gateway courses in the further.

Genuine Courses and Brilliant Company to Study With.
Gateway Workshops has changed my life! Here is a brief (as I am able) synopsis of why I say this, and why I decided with this update to my reviews to use the title: Genuine Courses and Brilliant Company to Study With.
Let's start with the Level 3 Award of Education and Training - I not only got employment as a fitness coach in Tai Chi and Qigong through it, but it made me more confident in do my Reiki/Angelic Reiki teaching/facilitation.
Jump forward to the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (QCF), this course changed my approach to my own course writing and also how I teach my Tai Chi and Qigong, it also prepared me to do the Award in External Quality Assurance also.
Let's move forward again to the Level 5 Diploma of Education and Training, working with Kate Parish was one of the most transformational courses I have done. It ignited a passion for education to such a degree that with Kate's encouragement I am now undertaking the Level 7 in Educational Management.
Gateway Workshops for me is my go to place. When the time comes for me to renew my massage skills, I believe in them enough to book onto their course.
Not only that but over the intervening years I have done other courses, Past Life Regression with Maxine opened my eyes and has been a wonderful course that keeps on giving, its given me a strong interest to investigate Regression and Hypnotherapy in greater detail along the way.
Gateway for me has been a genuinely brilliant experience. I wouldn't keep going back to them otherwise. They've changed my life and for that I am always going to be deeply thankful.

Great course
I have done courses with Gateway in the past such as Pregnancy Massage and deep tissue. This time I went back to do Menopause Massage I nearly cancelled last minute as I was under a lot of stress and wasnt sure if I would be able to function. I am so glad I didnt Tracey is a great teacher she was lovely and the girls I worked with were amazing. I left feeling relaxed and I cant wait to start doing this treatment on ladies

Booked a course and they cancelled it 4…
Booked a course and they cancelled it 4 days before start date. Other dates and courses were not suitable so I asked for a refund which was refused. I consulted legal advice and was told I was entitled to a refund but the company said they are quite happy for me to take them to court and will not be refunding me for lack of services provided. AVOID this company!

Hi Gill, Thank you for getting in touch, as with all companies we have terms and conditions and we follow the legal trading requirements. We worked with a specialist contract lawyer to make sure we got these right. We ask you read these before you book and if you are not happy for any reason then obviously you do not have to book a course with us.
As laid out in several emails to you, we have taken the time to carefully and thoroughly take your complaint seriously replying out of office hours sending you several emails, to cover all legal points as our T&C’s have been passed by Trading Standards and Consumer Rights as being correct and more than fair and they stated that we actually go beyond what’s legally required.
In a similar way, it’s like when you book a theatre ticket and if a play is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances and they can offer you alternative dates, they are not legally obliged to offer you a refund as other dates are available.
We work with students, sometimes the tutor can even organise alternative extra dates if the ones available are not suitable. We also offer different options too, which we have sent you, so that you do not loose the money you have paid - all of which you are not happy with.
We train thousands of students each year and if people were not happy with our terms and conditions (which we ask you to read and accept when you book) then no-one would book with us. You went ahead knowing what they were, but now you are not happy even though we are trading legally and fairly.
It is very rare we have to cancel a course but we have in 27 years always managed to fulfil all of our training and commitments to students, as we have other dates on offer and often can even add more so you get a convenient date, that you can attend instead.
As you will see from the majority of reviews here and on our website, students are overall very happy and delighted with our service.
Also importantly when a company can prove they are trading correctly (as we have sent the details from Trading Standards that shows we are trading correctly as they were checked and passed and put it writing to us) as we have followed what is legally required, then we have fulfilled our contract to you.
We have been trading since 1998 & we are always very very careful with regards to legal requirements, so that we are always following what’s needed and we are known to also be very fair and offer an extra option to help where we can, which we have outlined in our emails to you, but you have chosen to reject them all, which is your prerogative. If a tutor does NOT have at least two other dates to offer, then we are liable to refund the student in full including the deposit, but this is not the case in this instance, as we have plenty of other dates available and can always work with a student and tutor to find a suitable date. Gateway has fulfilled their legal obligation.
You have replied saying:
“It seems clear to me that you waited until my final balance had come in and then cancelled the event, having no intention of running the course but just taking money. “
We have never done this, this is unfounded and completely untrue (if this was the case we would have hundreds of complaints saying this on here) a shocking statement and unfair to make.
We have sent you a reply from Trading Standards who looked into this matter and we have emailed you their reply and they are happy we are trading correctly and legally you are welcome to check with them direct. Anyone legal you have contacted please do forward this to us as nothing has been sent as we will be happy to supply them what’s needed from our specialist contact lawyer and the Trading Standards correspondence that uphold our contract and policies.
I trust you understand that all companies have terms and conditions and we make sure that we trade fairly as we successfully train thousands of students each year.

Not transparent
I recently completed the on line 'Natural and Intuitive Energy Healing' course. As requested at the end of the course I left a review. It was not 5 star, but I hope that it was comprehensive and constructive. My review has not been published, so I wonder whether Gateway are 'cherry picking' 4 and 5 star reviews and ignoring anything lower. Their only low reviews refer to course dates being altered, rather than course content. This is a general interest course, some of it is useful, a lot of topics are covered but not in any great depth. I'm not sure what this course 'qualifies' you to do, other than take more courses! Gateway are great if you want a refresher on something that you are already qualified in, or if you want a general introduction to a subject prior to doing a more in depth course. As a stand alone course it was not worth the money, even with a discount.
Further clarification following the reply from Gateway. At the end of the course I completed the 'end of course survey' where I left detailed comments regarding the course content. I received an email attaching my certificate and requesting feedback where I repeated my observations about the course. I assumed that these comments would be posted as my trustpilot review, or appear somewhere on the Gateway website. I agree that 'in person' courses provide more depth and will look into other courses, although probably not with Gateway.

Many of our courses are very much in depth and we have thousands of students each year that take these as new subjects and not refreshers and set up as successful therapists.
This course has been taken by many students who have left very positive feedback but we are sorry that you felt that this course was not right for your needs where healing is concerned and perhaps a more in depth attendance course such as the Reiki courses that we offer would be better suited to you as it may be better for you to learn in a face to face environment.
We wanted to also address your concern over Gateway cherry picking reviews, this is not something that are able to do as you can see that this review is showing.

I completed an Indian head massage…
I completed an Indian head massage course on Monday with Sue Cross. This is the second course i have done with Sue and can't recommend her enough. She explains everything thoroughly and demonstrates the techniques in a way that makes it really easy to understand and carry out. she fills you with confidence that when you leave you are ready to confidently start practising the techniques and taking them forward into your career.
