I recently completed the Level 3 Award in Education and Training course and had a very positive experience.
Kate Parrish was an excellent tutor. She was very supportive, patient, and always willing to help. She responded to emails very quickly and provided clear and detailed feedback, which really helped me understand and improve my work.

The course was well structured and easy to follow, and I felt guided throughout the entire process.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to start a career in teaching or training.

Lovely approachable and knowledgeable teacher. Marsha made sure we were all confident with the new techniques we learnt on the day as well as our online assignments.

What an amazing tutor Beth is! The quality of training and material is excellent, having come from the corporate world my expectations were high and Beth did not disappoint!

I also met the best group of like minded people and have acquired an amazing new skill and great friends and connections, best decision I ever made with a new career in the making too.

I recently attended the Reiki and Seichem 1 & 2 Practitioner Level Training Course with Maxine in London. What a magical day. Maxine is a wonderful teacher and created such a calm and welcoming space. We all left the course not only with a wealth of knowledge, but also feeling very zen. I look forward to attending more Gateway workshops.

I booked onto a lash course with gateway workshops years ago and thought it was very professionally delivered. This time l booked onto to the Wood Therapy course and l really enjoyed the experience. Tracey demonstrated the treatment very well and came across very knowledgeable, not just about this course, but about health and well-being in general. Coming away from the course, l feel like l have all the information (and links to resources) to prepare me for doing this treatment. I also received some great tips from Tracey to help me get started, which l found really helpful. The training I’ve received has equipped me and given me the confidence to start up my beauty business again and introduce new treatments to clients.

Amazing weekend, Sue is an amazing teacher and I walk away feeling amazing and ready to share my new skills.

I attended the meditation teaching course and absolutely loved it. Maxine is an amazing teacher, as well as being highly skilled, shes also great at motivating and inspiring you to set up on your own. I learnt a lot on the course and made some great connections. Recently, I attended the Cupping Facial with TMJ Myofascial Release & Wood Therapy course. The course was excellent in every way. Laura Little's tuition was very clear in both theory and practically. The small class enables students to easily ask questions throughout the day. The treatment itself is the most in-depth and best facial I have ever experienced .

I booked in for the menopause massage course and it was brilliant, Laura is very good at delivering the learning and made us all feel welcomed and capable throughout, can not wait for my next course.

The ‘Reiki and Seichem 1 & 2 Practitioner Level Training Course’ run by Maxine was fantastic. I hadn’t heard of Gateway before, but the reviews looked good and I’m happy to report they were 100% accurate.

I was extremely pleased with the standard of teaching, the quality of the venue, and ease of getting there from Victoria Coach Station (or Hammersmith where I got off).

As I have never worked in wellness or healthcare (I've worked in Tech for 20+ years), I did not know what to expect, or whether I would even be able to “do” Reiki treatments on other people.

However, at the end of the 1-day course, I walked away pretty shocked at knowing that I could indeed perform Reiki on others (after we students all tried it on each other throughout the day), and I was filled with a new sense of belief in myself to help others in the area of spirituality.

The course was excellent value for money and there were no high-pressure sales tactics to get you to do higher-level courses. The instructor of course mentioned that there are higher levels on offer, and why you would need them. However, Maxine emphasised numerous times that the certificate from this 1-day course alone enables all students to now offer / sell Reiki treatments.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is thinking of pursuing this path in life to help others.

I attended the meditation teacher training and the course far exceeded any expectations I had! Maxine is a wonderful teacher and full of knowledge. It was so refreshing to be taught by a human and not a computer! She was very thorough and led the class so well. I would recommend her workshop for anyone getting started in the meditation community

I have taken two massage courses with Marsha Banks at Gateway Workshops, and they have been wonderful. The environment is really calm and pleasant, and the material is taught in a manner that is easy to understand and pick up. I genuinely enjoyed the courses and felt confident in what I had learned by the end of them. I highly recommend and am planning on taking more courses.

If you are wondering if this course is for you...then i can honestly advise it is! A joyous day with a great teacher! Came away not only feeling competent to teach, but full of ideas and excitement!!

Tutor was a lovely chatty and friendly tutor However, I did hope to leave this course feeling confident, especially after investing a lot of time, money, and a long day of travel. Unfortunately, the teaching on the day didn’t meet expectations. The tutor went off-topic frequently, focussed on agency work. As someone who isn’t looking to work for agencies, this took up time that could have been used for clearer practical instruction and more detail. The course content on website lists meridians which weren't mentioned.
A methodical and ,step-by-step approach needed. The tutor changed steps in the routine which confused me. The routine was taught in a fragmented way that made it difficult to follow. She also commented that quiet people wouldn’t be suited to this work, which didn’t feel encouraging or relevant.
What’s disappointing is that the video sent afterwards is excellent — clear, calm, and far easier to learn from than the in-person day. If the training had matched the quality of that video, I would feel much more confident now.
While there is the option to reattend within six months, it would be difficult for me to travel that distance again at short notice.
I’m glad to have the qualification, but overall I left feeling under-taught compared to what was advertised.

The courses in central London didn't they didn't give it to me certificate and told me to practice. Are you serious? The teacher isn't responding to my emails anymore. I'm sorry the course wasn't complete. They didn't even show us facial massage Thank you, and that's it.
