A very good experience with this company. The price for the planter and trellis I wanted was less than elsewhere. The phone was answered quickly and employees were very polite and helpful. I received regular updates on delivery which was on time. Would definitely use the company again.

Great communication and guidance from Jack. It was very difficult for me to decide which fence will be ideal for me and my neighbour sharing a fence. Jack helped me to find this fence which is double sided and if my neighbour wants to paint it will not show on my side.
When I told my builder has limited time to install, he also told me he will send the order sooner, which is a really great customer service, thank you Jack.

Was looking for some Gardening equipment online however I was not able to work the site very well, got through on the phone to a great gentleman by the name of Jack who helped me with my order and also recommended some other great additions that fitted so well with my original order.

We’ve recently been redoing our garden. I was really lost on what trellis would be suitable. I called garden timber online and spoke to someone called Sam. He was really friendly and helpful. Our delivery came quicker than expected, our garden looks great!

I’ve just received my fence and posts. Very happy with the quality of them and the service.
I spoke to Jack initially who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Ordered some fence panels and even though I knew, from the description, that they were discoloured, the company still emailed me (including photos) to check that I still wanted them. Really considerate. Kept me up to date with delivery and delivered bang on when they promised. The fence panels themselves seem much more sturdy than those they replaced. Very happy all round!

Ordered fence panel online with delivery to home. Emails & online updates helped track delivery time. Delivered on time. Great service. Driver assisted me move panel into garden.

I phoned and was told the fence panels would be delivered sooner than stated on the website. Sure enough, they were. Great, personal service

They are very quick to sell you items from their online website and help during that process, but once they take your money all communication stops. Also, forget about your delivery :-)

I spent over 3 months chasing my order. I was promised 3 or 4 different dates. Nothing but excuses, one after another. Still nothing. They won’t reply to your emails, they won’t call you back.

Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all cost. Worst company I ever had to deal with.

Ordered compost bins in November, then told they were out of stock. Agreed to wait till new stock arrived in January. No stock arrived and no idea when there will be. Told I could use payment as credit for future purchases. Refused and asked for a refund, was told this was put through on 1st February. No refund recieved, emailed three times since with no reply. They seem very good at taking orders for non existent goods and keeping you at bay with emails until finally ignoring you.

Update to above just read another review that said they were finally told they would get a refund, it would take a day or two to arrive. I was told my refund would take one to two weeks to arrive, it still hasn't, just another scam to keep you quiet for a bit.

Another update, finally got a refund. Took awhile but came good in the end

Dreadful company, liars and thieves. I ordered £1,000 worth of fence panels at the start of December. I have had to chase delivery every week and been promised several dates which come and go without my products arriving. There is a different excuse every time and when I ask to speak to the manager he conveniently isn’t available. I am so angry!!! If they don’t arrive next week will cancel and threaten Trading Standards if I don’t get my refund. AVOID!!!!!!

I order 8 sleepers from them. The initial delivery was delay by a day i then had to change the delivery date myself, because i needed someone to help me carry them to the back garden. On the delivery date, the driver turned up and put them where wanted them in my back garden. Very please.

Avoid this company like the plague !!!

We ordered a shed / greenhouse on the 8th of April this year at a price of over £730, the advert suggested 2-3 week’s delivery which gave us time to purchase a lawnmower and assorted garden tools which would obviously be kept in said shed …

It’s now been over 6 months since ordered and the shed is nowhere to be seen , they have sent random updates informing us that the shed was ordered 6 months ago and will be with us soon.
The lawnmower has had to be kept in our small living room due to nowhere else to store it !

I’ve called them up every week for the past 6 weeks and have been given false promises of a delivery each time , the telephone staff and the so called manager have no problem with lying in order to get you off the phone , have no interest that we have been waiting over 6 months , never ever ring us back with an update after we requested after every single phone call!
Eventually this week we have had enough of waiting and informed Garden Timber online that we want to cancel and get our money back , they firstly told us that they will organise this but it has to be the manager ( who wasn’t available) who processes it .

Today I’ve rang up as yet again we haven’t had any communication either on the phone as requested or via email to confirm our refund only to be told that it would take weeks to get our money back as we are in a refund queue?!!!

The manager offered us fence panels and garden furniture to the same value instead of the shed we’ve ordered, seriously WTAF????

We just want our money back so we can try and get a shed before winter but feel like we’ve been completely scammed.

Absolutely the worst ever customer service we have ever ever received!

Great company and very good priced products. Customer service team were brilliant, quick responding to my questions helped me to place an order. Product arrived within indicated 2weeks lead time and looking great! I ordered 2 Summerglade trellis panels with planters, product arrived exactly as advertised and it is a great value for money.

Terrible experience. Ordered fence panels and have been given about 4 different estimated delivery time over the last 4 weeks and still no panels. I have called and cancelled my order 3 times and still no email confirmation of cancellation and no refund. I will have to seek a refund via my credit card. Something very dodgy going on at this company

ordered 2 radial pergolas and after months of waiting what we received was a cheap and nasty version of the picture on the website. The workmanship was appalling with two bits of timber stuck together to form the posts, the round front part was constructed of multiple thin bits of wood unlike the one single piece in the picture and the instructions were only relevant to the one in the picture and therefore absolutely no use whatsoever. This, on top of the months of waiting, being lied to and spoken to rudely on the phone. They failed to deliver £800 worth of timber which we eventually got on money back from through the bank as gto were telling us they didn’t have enough money to cover the refund. I could go on but suffice to say AVOID AT ALL COSTS
