I’m studying a Professional Diploma in Garden Design, and enjoying it immensely. The online content is engaging and accessible, with a library of study material that is really helpful as I’m doing the home study course, which works well alongside the demands of a young family and ad-hoc work. The online calendar helps you to map out a study plan, which has been a very helpful guide in organising my time. The assignments are challenging and enjoyable, with the feedback from my online tutor being encouraging, insightful and detailed. I’m three assignments in now, and always feel I’ve come away inspired from the previous assignment and feedback. I would really recommend this course to anyone who is looking for a flexible, and affordable option, with quality material that is well paced for all abilities.

This has been a fantastically accessible way for me to train for my career change. I have been able to fit it around daily life, however that has suited me, as well as the ebb and flow of things across the last 18 months. Tutor support has been amazing. I am both sad and excited that it is nearly over.

I'm literally on the start of my garden design journey and already I feel I've learnt so much. Interesting and challenging projects, great advice and feedback on the forum and constructive responses to assignments. I'm thoroughly enjoying the process!

I am in to block 2 of the course and am really enjoying it. The content is thorough and easy to read and understand. It's a lot of material but doing it online in my own time is really working for me. The assignments are engaging and I am enjoying seeing my progress

The garden design course is very well structured. The tutors, staff, and student services are very knowledgeable and professional. The tutors are always helpful and provide excellent advice. I learned so much. I learned to delve deeper, research, and continually improve my understanding of the garden design profession. It's an excellent course and I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn garden design.

Ive always wanted to undertake structured training in garden design, and this course was perfect because I could study from home-around my main employment and family commitments.
The course itself was well structured, the assignments were interesting and enjoyable to do with all the necessary course materials available to help me through.
I was pleased and grateful for the support from the tutors, especially as I had a period of time away from making progress on the course due to personal circumstances; there was a time I wondered if I could get back into studying and proceed with the course, but after positive and supportive conversations with course tutors I jumped back into the course and found my focus once more.
Working full time and studying was definitely challenging but I'm so very pleased I pushed myself and encourage anyone to follow their passions and make that effort to open new doors of opportunities for them.

Studying with the British Academy of Garden Design has been a genuinely enjoyable and motivating experience. The course feels supportive and inspiring, helping ideas grow into real design confidence along the way.

I'm extremely grateful to BAGD for supporting me through the PG Dip in Garden Design. It's been a real pleasure working through the course work - all the requirements and supporting research material were extremely well presented so I didn't often needed extra pointers, but whenever I asked, Student Services were always helpful and prompt. The lectures and supervision from Julie in the first year were particularly valuable, especially in developing my practical awareness. I feel like I now have the skills and confidence to start approaching clients to help design their gardens.

Amazing way to learn- fits into my busy life in a rural place where commute to on site course just isn’t available…

Yesterday, I submitted my final assignment of the course. Whilst this gives a good feeling that I've completed the course, it's also tinged with a bit of sadness. I enjoyed the course and I've grown with it! The course is amazing, and there is great tutor support. I've learnt so much, and I will continue to research further into the facinating subject of garden design. Thank you for the great experience!

Im really enjoying the course. It’s very flexible so I can study and complete my assignments in my own time. The lessons are easy to follow with lots of photos and illustrations to help as well

The content is just perfect, the pace you learn and how it is presented makes you feel so confident in the subject matter. I have gone from knowing very little to a full understanding of the topic very quickly.
