Great value 6 seater dining set bought as a showroom clearance item from this store, a fraction of the price if you had ordered it brand new.Looks very smart in my home.

Great service from the guys at the York Clifton moor store , purchased settee and dinning room furniture and bed . Good prices and delivery all arranged around our house move .
Excellent service from Victor at the store .

Ben and Tom did an exceptional job moving and unpacking a very heavy table set. The setup was done extremely efficiently and they also provided some good advice for ongoing care and movement of the table. They cleaned up all the packing materials and were very friendly and polite through the process. This matches with the pre-sale support in store from Victor which made for a pleasant furniture buying experience.

Good choice and didn’t feel pressured

On Wednesday the 29th of July, my partner Helen & I were looking for our 1st ever bed. We have just moved to York and needed the 1st bit of furniture... So where else better than furniture village?

Austin greeted us and offered us a drink.
Which was fantastic!

He asked us what we were interested in and gave us a great tour around the store.

We 1st looked at sofa beds
Then tables and then finally beds and mattresses.

He walked us through the whole experience perfectly and gave us time in between to test and review before answering more of our questions.

He finally made our purchase and Austin made the whole experience feel easy to understand and we enjoyed it fully!

We will definitely be back and asking for him?

At the moment we can in, Mr David came to assist us in all showround,he was very friendly and supportive all the way through purchase.It was a wonderful experience in furniture village,highly recommend.

Great service and dealings

We visited the York branch on Saturday looking for a small sofa for my mother in law. What made the whole experience was the friendly and helpful approach of the staff. Of particular note was Steve. He really listened to what was needed and appreciated the need for a small sofa suitable for shorter people. He identified a few possible models and explained the virtues etc of each. We found an excellent bargain in the sale which fitted her and her needs perfectly. We also came away with a sale bargain which we hope to see in our house later this week. For service that went beyond the usual we want to thank Steve. The choice at furniture village was excellent and we await the sofas with anticipation.

Visited the York store mid July after a lot of visits to other stores to purchase a sofa. The amount of fabrics, styles and combinations of sofa choices was great as a consumer. Plenty of time to wander around, Victor was very helpful, knowledgeable about his products, and friendly-offered us refreshments and if we had any questions, to let him know. Nothing was too much trouble for him whilst we were there (and he also
found a phone that we lost!)
A couple of days later, went back and made a purchase-Simon helped this time and made it very easy to get what we needed at a very good price. Sofa hasn’t been delivered yet, but would recommend this team.

Excellent customer service from Simon at Furniture Village. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole buying process easy and stress-free. We even went back into the store after changing our minds about the table and chairs that we’d ordered, and Simon couldn’t have been more approachable or helpful. He sorted everything out and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. A real credit to the team – thank you Simon!

The member of staff 'Victor' at the York store was very helpful and professional. He made the shopping experience enjoyable.

We found there to be a high level of good service - Austin to be very knowledgeable about the products and the differences between them, a good mix of information, assistance and time for us to look around. He listened attentively to our questions and needs and answered each fully with options.
