Michael was so helpful in helping us find exactly what we were looking for. His pleasent nature made us feel welcomed and listened to, not being pressured was a bonus.

A great experience shopping at Furniture Village for a new bed and mattress. Philip, our sales man, was excellent all round. Great customer care, with the right amount of space for us to take our time in choosing, coupled with sound, experienced advice on the products. Super friendly and considerate giving us all the time we needed, and more besides, going the extra mile. Very pleased with the new bed and recommended mattress, both of great quality.

Would ask Furniture Village to seriously review their ‘deliveries’ though, our only complaint, which has now been resolved but still a very unpleasant experience that shouldn’t have happened, hence 4 stars overall, but 5 star for in store shopping experience.

Problems with delivery.
Waited a month weeks for delivery, which was then cancelled as they did not have the bed frame but wanted to deliver the headboard and mattress (we refused).
No calls the week before the delivery only a text on the day of delivery at 0703.
We had to disassemble the old bed quickly & move it downstairs.
The driver said that they only had the mattress and not the bed frame.
The driver said that they had spent an hour in the warehouse looking for the frame but could not find it. The driver questioned Furniture Village, saying there was no point delivering just the mattress. But Furniture Village instructed to make the delivery.
The driver was very helpful.
We refused the delivery.
So now we don't have a bed to sleep on.
The bed was several thousand pounds.

The service I received from Amber Lola and Donna was above and beyond! I hasten to add they sorted out some difficult initial problems with the distribution company that required a great deal of attention, their professionalism shone through at all times.
I would personally like to thank them all for everything.

Michael provided myself and my wife with fantastic service. He allowed us time and space to make decisions around our purchases. We will definitely be back in future!

Michael Hackworthy is fantastic we ordered a sofa from him previously and I took my elderly mum to see him to organise a bed purchase today. He was attentive patient and kind. He is a credit to your organisation and gave such good professional advice. Definitely will be going back to him when we need more furniture !

We have just purchased a new corner sofa and we were helped by Michael Hackworthy in the Stevenage Store.

We were offered assistance on arrival on both visits without feeling pressured. It was lovely to be offered drinks while we completed our order. We found out experience very positive and we were given information and time to think about our decision.

Michael was very knowledgeable about the range of sofas and services available whilst also being friendly, professional, and welcoming.

Overall we are very happy with our service and experience and we would use this store again in the future.

Visited furniture village a couple of times trying to find a sofa, Michael looked after us on both occasions, very helpful and knowledgable, not pushy and made the experience enjoyable

We bought a table and chairs from Furniture Village in Stevenage. Michael assisted us every time we went into the store to have a look to make sure they were the right set for our kitchen. Each time we met him, he was helpful, really accommodating and nothing was too much trouble! He also gave us options to ensure affordability. I’d definitely buy from the store using Michael’s services again. We’re delighted with the table and chairs and also found the three delivery guys so friendly and helpful when they dropped them off. The store I also ordered the delivery from were great and very accommodating. All round Furniture Village offer an excellent customer service! Thank you 😀
