Fantastic, very helpful with everything

Friendly chaps, very polite, delivered on time

I purchased the Bodahl Njord Compact Raw Edge Dining Table in December, and it is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. However, when it was delivered in February, the table legs were badly damaged, leaving the table extremely unstable.

Unfortunately, the customer service I received was extremely disappointing. Over the following five months, I was passed back and forth between departments, often waiting long periods without any response at all. With no satisfactory resolution, I felt I had no option but to make a Section 75 claim through my finance provider, as Furniture Village had breached its contract by failing to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.

Remarkably, once my complaint was acknowledged by the finance company, the issue was resolved the very same week. By the end of that week, the replacement legs had been fitted—even though I was informed they had been sitting in Furniture Village's warehouse for some time.

The table itself is fantastic, but the after-sales service was unacceptable. Sadly, the poor customer service has completely overshadowed what should have been a positive purchase, and as a result, I will not be buying from Furniture Village again

Today I had a sofa delivery from furniture warehouse delivered by Rich and Andy ,
Very professional polite and friendly guys.
They did ask if I needed them to move my old settee out but I had managed in the end to get someone to move it out.
But grateful they asked .
They quickly moved the new sofa to the back of my property that was easier for all of us .
And everything was unloaded installed and put where it needed to go within a few minutes really. They covered my floor too so no damage to anything.
You hear scare stories with delivery’s but i cannot fault Rich and Andy and would hope i get them again should I purchase anything else .

The 2 guys who delivered our bed were brilliant, great communication, very polite and put our bed together in no time at all .They left no mess at all. Very very pleased with the delivery would recommend 💯

Richard and Darren arrived on time, having previously updated prior to arrival. Goods assembled and checked in situ and all waste taken away. Would recommend and use Furniture Village again

The drivers were fine that’s why there is one star.
Had to cancel 0ver 50% of original order as delivery date kept getting pushed back and had reached a 6 month wait, but not guaranteed.

This delivery today was for replacement items that were incorrect and damaged when first delivered.

Waited a long time for original order then a further 6 weeks for replacements.

A part is missing from one replacement item from today’s delivery, so now another wait for that alongside another visit to install.

Just poor. What’s happened to furniture village?!

We were awaiting a replacement chair as the original delivery had a dining chair with slight damage - delivery people very friendly and efficient.
