Went to Colchester Furniture Village to buy a sofa was dealt with by 'Nicola' who was fantastic. Extremely friendly and professional and provided all the information, sizes and prices on the sofas we were interested in. We purchased a really nice sofa. Great customer service.

We popped in possibly looking for a sideboard and had a great chat from very helpful Jamal. He gave us loads of info and advice on something we’d seen in store. We needed to have a proper measure up at home and he supplied us with extra measurements and no pressure.
We came back next day and Nicola helped us with, again, no pressure but loads of friendly help and advice and put together a great deal for everything we wanted. Thanks very much to both members of staff for an easy friendly no hassle or stress experience

We purchased two sofas from Furniture Village when they arrived there was several faults I rang the store who put me in touch with customer after care I spoke to George who listened to me went and read my file and said I am going to authorize you to go back into store and pick two different sofas Next to happen a lady called Amber ran and said that when I picked the sofas if they were more money I would pay the difference and if less they would give me the he money back Both George and Amber were very professional but really cared as did the manager of the Colchester store Gerrel Thankyou for all your help

We had a great experience today at Furniture Village at Staines Park, both Alan & Gerelli the manager were very attentive and helpful with sorting our order for a new dining table & coffee table. The Manager gave us a good discount with free delivery which was helpful for us

A disastrous experience from start to finish - only saved by the assistance of Paul & Jarel at local store (and even they struggled with the “system” of FV)

Helpful did not follow us around when we arrived but made them self known offering us a drink ., and very patient when it comes to choosing a mattress, Will shop here again

We were looked after by Nicola and she was excellent, very knowledgeable but not pushy.

We didn’t feel pressured as sometimes furniture salesmen can be a bit pushy. But we looked around at our leisure and picked a suite we liked but had to come back the next day. A very helpful salesman James answered all our questions and when we asked for him the next day, he helped even with our questions and we have very happily bought the furniture that we liked

Furniture Village is always such a lovely Company to deal with. Jayde made us very welcome when we first arrived and helped us find the options we were looking for.
There was no issue or pushiness when we said we had to go home and measure again to make sure the furniture we wanted to buy would fit our room, Jayde simply told us she was working tomorrow and to come and find her when we came back in.
As a business owner, it is really nice to see a business of this size still running as a family business, you rarely hear staff in any business or organisation tell you what a good organisation they work for and what a great family business it is!
