Great service with delivery guys really helpful but the rest of service
Awful. We had a change circumstances beyond our control I spoke to store to see if they could delay it they where very rude and unhelpful we have now had to store it in a garage. I can believe if a issue you can’t delay it before it has been sent very bad

Een a good experience from purchasing the furniture to the delivery. The van drivers were very professional.

Were very helpfull and got a grate deal

Friendly staff without being pushy.
Great range of sofas and chair to choose from.
Lyn answered all my questions so I understood my options.
Good range of prices which are competitive with other furniture shops.

Tammy was warm and welcoming and done her upmost to show us around the store and gave her reccomendations where needed.

Tammy was a great help in helping us find a lovely sofa to fill out lovely space. She really helped us find a great deal and she was such a delight to speak to.

I recently visited Furniture Village in Chelmsford with my partner to purchase a new mattress, and we had an excellent experience thanks to Patricia.
From the moment we arrived, Patricia welcomed us warmly and demonstrated genuine professionalism. She took the time to understand our preferences, carefully listening to what we liked and didn’t like, and guided us through a range of options without any pressure.
We tried several mattresses, and throughout the process she remained attentive, patient, and incredibly helpful. Her knowledge and guidance made it much easier for us to narrow down our choices and feel confident in our decision.
Patricia also ensured that the purchase process was smooth and completely stress-free, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
It was truly a pleasure having her assist us, and we would highly recommend seeking her out if you are visiting the store.

I have just moved and went shopping with my sister for a new sofa, just looking to see what I liked.
Patricia was amazing! Helpful and gave us the information we needed without being pushy.
We continue to look in the other furniture/sofa shops but could find what I liked so came back..
Patricia saw us again and joked "have you been to the other shops" whist I was sitting on the sofa which I liked.
Patricia was again very helpful with all information on the sofa, so I brought it.

And after all the paperwork was done my sister then saw some lion pictures, which she then brought.

A very happy and productive afternoon out. 😁

We were looking for a new sofa, to which she gave us all the info we needed, without being too pushy!.
When we came back 1/2 an hour later, she still gave us time...
And when we purchased the sofa , I also found some pictures, and brought them!

I bought a corner seater sofa in excess of £2000 in November 2024 because I was told by the sales assistant that the upholstery was ‘hard wearing’. The cushions are already going bobbly. We took out insurance on the sofa because we were told, ‘it covers everything’. We took the cushions back to the store where a sales assistant said we would almost certainly be able to claim on our insurance but that we had to contact customer services online. When we contacted customer services, we were fobbed off with ‘that’s just wear and tear’ even though photos we sent them showed severe wear as the cushions were all bobbly; they then closed the case. The insurance clearly isn’t worth the paper it’s written on . What’s more, the sofa is still being paid for on finance. I will never buy form Furniture Village again. There is a Facebook group for people who share their dissatisfaction with Furniture Village products and several of them have the same sofa as us and have had same bad experience. The irony is, this company has just won a national award for customer service; I’d hate to see what their rivals must be like as our customer service experience with Furniture Village has been atrocious! Needless to say, we certainly won’t be buying from this company again; nor will our friends and family as we have warned them all about our experiences.
