A perfect solution to my own mess

Excellent service !
They arrived on time and despite dreadful weather they sorted the problem . Both men were courteous and friendly , which for a lone woman driver is important. The job was done quickly , and they took me to nearby station to fuel up. It may seem expensive but for roadside help I cannot fault it. Excellent service.

Impressed.

Had an issue where id been a donut and stuck ad blue in the tank. Dave came out and fixed the issue straight away and was back on the road within an hour. Great guy to talk to, really knew his stuff. Hope i dont need to but would happily use again.

The comment about the fuel is something we do receive every now and then and it's important to clarify - when you see your tank as empty, it will actually have 5-10 litres left in it, just not registering on the sensor. When we say it is empty after a fuel drain, it is completely empty. Therefore, when we add £20 of fuel, we do not have the 5-10 litres already in the tank, which is what you are used to seeing on your fuel gauge. We would have put in the amount stated, but it simply doesn't show as being the amount you are used to seeing.
We hope that this clarifies the matter - we can assure you that we would have put in £20.

Title: Fault Appeared Immediately After “Guaranteed” Repair
I paid for a specialist AdBlue contamination drain on my 2021 Hyundai Tucson and was provided with a 28-day warranty. The vehicle had not been driven after the misfuelling incident.
The day after the work was completed, a fuel filter warning light appeared. Hyundai diagnosed that the fuel filter housing was damaged and required replacement, which I have paid for.
Given the immediate timing of the issue and that their technicians handled the fuel system components, I raised this under their 28-day guarantee. However, they have declined responsibility.
I am disappointed that an issue arising the day after a costly repair, and within the warranty period, has not been resolved by the company.

It's important to note that we did not do more to your car than drain and flush the tank through. We didn't touch the fuel lines or the fuel filter as you had reported that your car was not started or driven after the AdBlue was put into the fuel tank.
As gone over in the email exchange, the garage diagnosed no damage to the filter housing but only that the water sensor had activated a warning light. The garage advised that the filter needed to be changed, and they charged you for this.
You now want us to pay for this action, despite saying very clearly in writing before starting to do the job on your car (and in fact on any vehicle) that the filter will need to be changed at your convenience.
We are sorry that we have not been able to settle this to your satisfaction by agreeing to pay your bill. We are also glad to know that your vehicle was successfully drained of contaminated fuel by our engineer, as noted in the garage report, and that you were able to get back on the road again.
