Just been signed off after a final eye check. I am so impressed with everyone involved in my care. They did everything to make sure I was OK and to fit in with my timescales and availability. If you are considering contact lenses I don't think you can do better than go with these people.

Previously I had bifocal lenses in my dive mask and varifocals in my glasses. Being able to dive with ordinary lenses is amazing - so much better than prescription lenses and not needing glasses is amazing.

I felt that I was being treated as an individual not a number. The whole experience was underlined with clinical professionalism.

From my first contact with them through Iana I have been so well taken care of during my cataract procedure - everything was explained very clearly and I was confident that I could ask questions and be reassured. I imagine most people who opt for cataract surgery do so with some trepidation even if talking to this who have experienced it say it is excellent. I had both eyes treated concurrently, chose injections rather than eye drops and found the whole process swift and painless. All the staff at Taunton are excellent, I must especially mention the Surgeon, Basel, Optometrist Zac and Ellis, the coordinator who guided me through the whole process. My sight is now excellent.

I have recently received cataract surgery in both my eyes and the results are excellent. Previously I needed to wear varifocals permanently and now I don’t need to wear glasses at all. I am very pleased.
The whole experience from start to finish has been excellent. All the staff have been thorough, efficient and friendly, I cannot recommend them highly enough, especially Nicky and Emma.

I have just recently had my second Galaxy Toric lens fitted at Freedom Vision Kendal. Everyone on the team was so polite, friendly and helpful right from my first assessment.
My eyesight has been transformed. I am amazed at the sharpness of focus both for distance and for reading. Colours now appear more vivid.

I am a stickler for time keeping and every element went to plan on time. I was well briefed on the procedure, the procedure was painless and the consultant did comprehensive checks to ensure it was the correct IOL for the relevant eye, the operating team introduced themselves and was reassuring. within 24 hours my new eye was functioning well.

Excellent service. Very professional staff who were extremely helpful and informative about every aspect of the procedure. I was really nervous and they definitely put my mind at rest about the surgery. It’s a pity this level of service can’t be provided by the NHS! Thank you to everyone at Freedom Vision.

From the moment you enter into Spa Medica Long Hanborough, everyone is so helpful. The treatment was thorough and made the experience stress free.

I had cataract surgery on 22/1/2026 at Freedom Vision Chelmsford for which the end to end process from initial contact, through client liaison, pre-assessment and consultation with the Consultant Surgeon to surgery was seamless and swift. Post assessment was also without delay and the results for my vision are great. The staff at Chelmsford were extremely professional and helpful and attentive throughout.

The time given by all the team to explain the cataract procedure was very much appreciated. The system on the day from arrival to leaving was efficient and everyone was friendly and professional, putting me at ease.

I knew i would still need some glasses after the op & the only glitch was finding practical support to negotiate the seven week period before obtaining the new glasses. The results of the op have so far been excellant.

This company is a shining example of how heathcare should be delivered. Both the organisation and the staff were excellent from start to finish. I had plenty of opportunities to discuss my hopes and concerns with staff. My main ambition was to not need glasses any more (I'd been wearing increasingly strong varifocals for many years). After discussing the options I went ahead with surgery.
I had both eyes corrected, one for distance vision the other for reading. It's only been a few days after the second surgery and I'm writing this review without glasses. I had cataracts removed from both eyes. I previously had complex prescription with long sight, astigmatism and short sight. I had worn glasses for 70 years. However now due to the great care from the Thorpe Park, Leeds team I no longer wear glasses. The results have exceeded my expectations

I arrived slightly ahead of schedule and parked in a free carpark with plenty of space. Walking in through the main security doors I was struck by how clean and modern the facility was. All the staff from the receptionist to the consultant who carried out the surgery were polite, helpful, well presented, knowledgably and well informed. There was no long waiting time and the surgeon who conducted the operation explained what was going to happen and the associated risks. Having attended as a NHS patient prior to choosing Freedom Vision I experienced exactly the same high level of customer service. This is how health care should be.

From the first enquiry to the aftercare, I cannot think of a single niggle or complaint.
I know people could say that providing good customer/patient service is part of the job, and to an extent I agree, but I’ve worked in the NHS for 11 years. I’ve seen good and bad practice, and I’ve seen people doing their job well. On the rare occasions you meet someone with real empathy and patience, it resonates.
I know we were lucky enough to be able to afford to go private, and on that Freedom came out the most reasonable for the level of treatment.... but I have to say Hannah is an absolute credit and value to the service. I felt so assured my mum was in caring hands that they were not just trying to make money and get you in and out.
Any question, Hannah was just a call away, and the call the day after surgery really assured my mum in her recovery from the procedure. We never felt pressured or
It has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish; every member of staff, from buzzing you in to the surgeon, has been first-class and a credit to your group. I would wholeheartedly recommend any treatment with them.

The staff were very friendly and always happy to help. My treatment was clearly explained to me. Over my period of treatment the surgeon rang me three times to answer any questions and to ensure that I had chosen the right lenses. The person who was my main contact could not have been more helpful and managed the process really well.
