The treatment I received recently went smoothly and within the time scales. I received proffesional treatment and respect from all staff I had contact with and made to feel st ease with each step of the procedures which were clearly explained.

If you cannot fault your treatment in any way 5 is deserved.
I was very well treated from the start. The team were happy chatty and informative.
The op was done very quickly after the first consultation and both eyes the same day.
On the day there was no stress and any apprehension was the product of
my mind.
Everything was smooth and calm, just go with the flow. The op was exactly as decribed, completely painless and with very little discomfort. Both eyes done in 30 mins?
I left the theatre able to see though slightly blurred.
Next day, as predicted, sight accuracy returning as the day progress. Colours more vivid. Detail better.
Day 2, wow, so much better in every respect. No post op pain and very little discomfort.

After a consultation followed by a
comprehensive series of checks at the hospital facility I had cataract surgery.This was carried out after a discussion with the surgeon about the procedure. The operation was carried out in about 20 minutes. All staff , before, during and after the operation could not have been more helpful and reassuring. Overall a pleasant experience. I can easily recommend Freedom Vision without hesitation. After a number of post operative checks my eyesight has dramatically improved with much clearer and sharper vision.

The medical procedure went OK and the staff were obliging and considerate. However I found the 3 hour wait for the surgery intolerable. I hav e a bad back which was made worse waiting in uncomfortable chairs.. having paid £2345 for the treatment I expected much better.. disappointed.

Having decided to have cataract surgery, my optician recommended Freedom Vision. From the first consultation to the operations, everything was handled in a friendly and very professional manner. All procedures and follow ups were at my pace and explained in enough detail for me to make choices. The nurses and surgeon, in fact, all staff were top class. Any fears I had were dealt with. There was no pain or discomfort. My eyesight is now much better than I ever thought possible. It also helped, that the offer of intrest free payments was there to spread the cost. I would totally recommend the Newark facility.

The pre-operative appointments for the NHS and private operations involved extensive checks on eye health and on the geometry of your eye and were carefully done and the staff involved were all friendly and reassuring. I chouse the private route because of the availability of excellent multi focal lenses. The surgeon chosen for my operation was excellent with a pre operation discussion in which he answered many questions to my satisfaction. The operation itself was much less alarming than I feared and the surgeon was excellent throughout. The visual results were much better than I had hoped for with greatly improved vision. The follow up appointments also involved more thorough checks and tests until the all clear was given. Throughout my Personal Liaison manager was friendly and very helpful and I would not hesitate to
return to have my other eye treated when it reaches the stage where that is necessary.

Very pleased with the service i received, the people working there were really great. Having my full vision restored & being able to drive again is changing my life back to normal. Want to thank everyone at Swansea .

I was referred by my optician to SpaMedica Chesterfield. Within five days of contacting them I had my appointment for assessment. Upon arrival at the clinic I was impressed by my friendly welcome and the pristine cleanliness of the reception area.
I was quickly introduced to a member of the team and taken through a series of assessments to determine the condition of my eyes. This culminated in an informative discussion with the optometrist Rosie Davies. She explained the results of the tests and outlined my options. All of the staff were professional, helpful and friendly and made me feel extremely confident.
That evening, the surgeon, Mr Shahin contacted me at home to explain the procedure, my confidence soared when he told me that he performed a thousand such procedures a year.
The procedure was rapid and totally painless. I left the clinic a short time later with all the medication I needed together with the phone number of my Patient Liaison Manager, Lisa Ingram, who I could contact if there were any problems.
I am thrilled by the improvement in my vision and would like to extend my thanks to Mr Shahin and all of the staff who took such good care of me.
I would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending SpaMedica Chesterfield.

I had cataract surgery in January as an NHS patient at SpaMedica in Bradford.
The pre operative assessment was very thorough, the staff put me at ease, they explained what they were doing, the outcomes and treatment options/choices.
The cataract was grade 2 and beginning to compromise my vision…I opted or a mono focal distance IOL
The whole experience was a positive one. I wish to mention Louise Smith for her reassuring manner and putting me at ease when carrying out the diagnostic tests. Mozan Zaroug the optician/optometerist who completed the assessment and gave feedback as above. I also wish to thank Mr Khan the Surgeon for his skill and reassuring approach on the day.

I had a second surgery with Freedom Vision on 30th March. This surgery was for a Premium Toric Lens to correct astigmatism. Another positive experience the pre op. assessment as before including a review of the first surgery and determining whether the toric lens would complement the other IOL and offer an enhanced outcome. The optician/orthoptist was Nafeesa, I found her to be professional and positive, Louise Smith the Freedom Vision Ambassador discussed the Freedom Vision 'package' and arranged for me to have a consultation with Mr George Mariatos the surgeon. Mr Mariatos was realistic and reassuring giving me confidence to go ahead. I understand that surgery went well and my reviews with Nafeesa and Mozan were really positive .
My vision is definitely much clearer overall. I have slight fluctuations at one month but am reassured that this should resolve as related to some residual temporary dry eye situation.

I had cataracts removed from both eyes at Freedom based in Sayers Common, Sussex. I opted for private treatment so that I could have corrective lens fitted to give me good mid/distance vision. I understood that I would still need glasses for close work.
The whole process was very professional, and all the staff throughout the whole process and procedure were very kind and attentive. Everything was clearly explained and all my questions were answered.
After each operation I was able to see clearly within 24 hours and the difference was amazing.

Had my second eye done and service was exceptional just like my first eye. All staff pleasant and so helpful. Surgeon was so calming and professional, would recommend North Tyneside to anyone considering treatment.

I had both eyes done, a month apart. I did have problems initially with my eyes not reacting well to either the eyedrops or the lenses. However I almost always had the confidence that it would be sorted eventually, as it was. It did take 6 months and about 6 visits to get to that point.
The main concern would be that it was not possible to contact the wembley practice directly - you have to go through the main FV number and hope they rind you back.

I spent a fortune on vari focal lenses. Great service except send notes to optician by second class post!!!! why not e mail?? And they do not sell/supply basic reading glasses to tide patients over while they recover and have time to see the optician.

I recently visited Freedom Vision at Spa Medica, Trevor Foster Way, Bradford for a YAG Capsulotomy. I was met by a nurse called Louise whose friendliness and efficiency made me feel completely at ease. The procedure was carried out by Nafeesa who was again both friendly and very efficient. Any nerves I had were gone the moment I entered the clinic. I came out seeing clearly again. Thank you both so much.
