I am currently involved in a long-running disputed matter in which Flint Bishop are acting on behalf of British Gas.

Most recently, I received a message from Flint Bishop requesting that I contact them urgently regarding my case. Given the nature of the dispute and the ongoing correspondence between the parties, I interrupted my day and contacted them immediately.

I was then informed that the contact had been made in error because Flint Bishop's systems had not been updated correctly.

In other words, I was asked to make urgent contact regarding a matter that did not require any action at all.

This wasted my time, caused unnecessary concern and demonstrated a worrying lack of attention to detail in the handling of what is already a complex and disputed matter.

I have now raised a formal complaint regarding this incident and await the outcome of Flint Bishop's investigation.

Based on my experience, communication has been poor, record keeping appears inadequate and unnecessary stress has been caused through avoidable administrative errors.

I hope Flint Bishop reviews its procedures to ensure other customers do not experience similar issues.

Super efficient service again from Kunal - no messing, straight to the point and purchase completed in 3 weeks !

Flint Bishop Debt recovery have continued to demand payment for a bill that had been paid. Despite us informing them of the payment and sending the details they continued to state they were going to take appropriate action. When we asked for them to supply a copy of the Bill that had not been paid, they said they were unable to, and still threatened legal action and increasing costs.

Flint Bishop Solicitors (Sheffield & Leeds) were brilliant from start to finish.

A special mention to Sarah and Robin, who helped get our house move over the line despite a tight deadline and a few complications along the way.

They were professional, calm, responsive and kept things moving, helped push things forward, kept us updated, and gave us confidence when the pressure was on.

Really grateful for everything they did and would happily recommend Flint Bishop Solicitors to anyone needing a reliable, professional and genuinely helpful team.

Flint Bishop has amazingly now agreed to act as debt-collectors for Yell in respect of former Yell customers who are claiming refunds for mis-selling ! There is a class-action pending against Yell and yet Flint Bishop are pressing ahead as if it were not and clearly want to share the humiliation when Yell are discredited in court. Everyone needs to join The Yell Action Group now !

This solicitors that deem them selves educated professional people however they actually replied back to a death certificate I sent of my recently passed father asking how he was if he could get in touch soon. The audacity of the practice is unbelievable. I called them to complain and they then said I understand how you feel, well unless you have had the exact same done to you, no you do not. Not one bit of compassion. Script read at best and a very bad script at that. Shocking company, they are not even worth the one star.

Flint Bishop keep emailing and calling me regarding a British gas customer I have never heard of.
Despite several attempts to explain I am not the correct person they still harass me.
I am considering taking legal action for harassment

I received a letter from this outfit regarding a debt apparently due to British Gas, the debt is not due the debt was never due and British Gas told me they would stop their collections process and get the problem dealt with instead they didn't and it proceeded to get passed to this company they then sent me a letter today advising me of my options to pay my debt.

There is nothing wrong with the letter itself if the Debt was actually due, the problem the company now faces, I have reported the head of their firm to the Solicitors Regulation Authority, contacting me regarding a debt which isn't due behaving in a manner which solicitors would not find coherent and simply sending letters to cause alarm and distress.

If I went to the solicitors firm and said British Gas owed me £20,000 pounds issue them a letter of claim they'd want evidence they'd want material to prove, not with the corporate Jesus Centrica British Gas, they take it granted that the debt is due and they just publish a letter.

They really need to think long and hard about how they behave just issuing letters without any coherent responsibility, I do not intend to let this business behaving this manner I have reported it to the SRA and I have raised a complaint with them before I raise it to the Law Society.

Anyone who has a letter from this company that is not owed should contact the SRA in the first instance to log a complaint report against Mr Ghafoor as the acting head solicitor for this company, send an email making sure that you wish to complain in the strongest possible terms via email to compliance at flintbishop.co.uk, (the email address can be found online at his Law Society profile Google his name and Law Society) wait 8 weeks and if they don't respond to the complaint or they don't deal with it within eight weeks go to the Law Society and tell them you are complaining about the company and they haven't dealt with your complaint your email will serve as evidence that it was given eight weeks prior.

If you are reading this review to consider using Flint Bishop you're using a firm which is a reprehensible failure, choose a better firm which is in the top five not in the top 200.

Wouldn't trust a word these waste of spaces write, their client British gas apparently require paying. Obviously hasnt received the paperwork where their client agreed the compensation timescale and method which becomes a legally binding contract but hey what does a 35 year experienced barrister know. Cant wait for their client to try the bully boy tactics be interesting to see how they like it when the outstanding balance is demanded shortly by legal methods. Probably shouldn't attempt to defraud people when your acting as a legal aid firm but what do I know.

Flint Bishop’s in Derby were recommended to us by our estate agents and we were very happy with their service. Beth Hadfield who dealt with our sale was superb. Communication was excellent and dealt with my queries in a timely and efficient manner. Would recommend.

Had another letter fron this third party interlopers, stating british gas has declined my request to erase my personal data , after speaking to british gas they said this was a lie and once i resolved the issue with BG flint bishop has to delete all data as the recall ends all issues , yet rhere still holding my data , appauling company with no ethics , this company is now holding mine and pther people dara to use as the so wish , and are breaching gdpr , i am contacting the obusman and the ico , this company needs to be shut down or held accountqble , shoking and disgusting behaviour , and there lying about there clients as british gas has assured me they never declined my request

The solicitors have been employed by energy companies to chase people for debt. Their staff are aggressive and abusive to disabled and vulnerable customers. At no point will they take any accountability for how they treat people. Business must be bad if you're having to take work from energy companies.

British Gas were caught by the Energy ombudsman doctoring my meter readings yet this cowboy outfit continued, would not stop harrassing me even when shown the evidence. British Gas have overcharged me by £3000.00 in total . Evil satanic people. People are committing suicide because FLINT BISHOP are not listening to facts .The most cowardly bunch of people I've ever come across. AVOID FLINT BISHOP AT ALL COSTS . LAW SOCIETY MUST SHUT DOWN THIS SATANIC OUTFIT
