We just had our inventory check for an end of tenancy. It went very well. First for Cleaning did another good job for us. Thanks.

The cleaners they sent worked very hard and the overall standard was very high.

Efficient and prompt service. I would use them again.

Pointless company. Cleaner turns up, not happy to wait a few mins for me to turn up. Wants the full cash upfront. Didn't clean anything. My son does the Hoover and dusting and it looks cleaner. The cleaner didn't pay attention to any of the main points I asked for her to concentrate on and then when you call them, you get some dunce on the phone that doesn't want to help.

We had an end of tenancy cleaning done. They did a great job and although they were really busy they managed to squeeze us in so we got the job done just in time for the inspection. Highly recommended.

Happy to recommend! We have our home deep cleaned once every few months and the cleaning team always work hard and do a great job. We will be calling again soon

I have used first for cleaning for the past three years for an in-depth cleaning, including the kitchen (+ oven) as well as carpets and sofa of our house. I have always been very happy with the results and will use them again this year.

We have used the services of First for Cleaning for three years.

We have had oven cleaning, regular cleaning, curtain cleaning and two end of tenancy cleans.

The are always reliable and professional and we have recommended them to our friends.

I was really satisfied with the service to be honest

We used this company for an emergency carpet clean followed by a deep clean of our house.

On both occasions they arrived on time and did quality work.

We have them booked in for another deep clean.

Excellent service. They had friendly staff that go the extra mile. We were very pleased.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I cannot even begin to explain how dissatisfied we are with First for Cleaning's services. Despite explaining in detail our needs and the size of the house the company's recommendation proved insufficient to say the least, especially since the 'professional' cleaners were far from it with the service provided being highly unsatisfactory to say the least.

Two cleaners turned up - Svetlana and Alina - earlier than planned and super anxious to get going so they could leave earlier. They turned up with a half-broken handheld vacuum that had almost zero suction - I tested it myself and I am sorry to say, it was a complete joke. They also did not have a bucket for mopping and they picked up an empty tin can from the rubbish at the front! Thankfully I had a bucket for them to use so we don't use rubbish!

Svetlana - the head cleaner who spoke English, not only was she not good at her job but also had an unacceptable rude attitude not taking a word or suggestion, complaining about the state of the place which was average in my experience - and I have moved a lot! - and she kept saying that a deep clean of a kitchen takes four hours as the oven itself takes an hour (I had to do it today as she did not and the actual time spent on it was about 10 minutes as the waiting time can be used to clean the rest of kitchen - and I don't claim to be a professional cleaner! )! She did not even complete this and only did a small part of it. She then suggested that the time was not enough, however it seems it was enough for her to relax, have a little wander in the garden and pick a few pears for a snack. As if that was not enough, she said her 4 hours were done about 10-15 minutes early. And when I checked one of the ovens that was not done properly at all and asked her to finish it in her remaining time - needless to say her response was particularly rude and the job was again not done. The grill part of the oven was not even touched as explained above. As I ended up cleaning the place myself I discovered that half the cupboards were only superficially done, the doors were not even wiped underneath, the top of the cupboards was not done at all and although all she did was complain about the state of them, a simple antibacterial wipe did the job very very quickly!

Further to that, I asked if they were free later in order to extend the time at all - thinking I would then call the office to arrange an extension ( I was told that I would need to pay for additional time which would be an option) and she started huffing and puffing saying that she can't and I could call the office to arrange for a visit on the following day although she has one day off and somehow I would be stealing it from her!! When I told her that their work was not satisfactory her response was 'Well call my manager if you want!'
Her communicating with us was appalling from the beginning. Rude, annoyed to even be there, extremely difficult to work with and highly unprofessional.

Alina was much more polite and even though her English was not great a lot better to communicate with. Having said that, even from the beginning I had to check everything she was doing as I had to point out that she needed to hoover and also had to ask her to come back to do the first room as there were still spiderwebs and dust in the most accessible of places. After that, her work improved.

I emailed the company immediately after to complain and ask for an explanation and a partial refund and of course never heard back from them.

I feel like the money spent on First For Cleaning a company was a complete waste. For future reference for all those considering them, I spoke to Clyde who might sound like he knows what he is talking about but the whole operation seems a complete con. So.,..avoid avoid avoid!

We have used this company several times in the past for carpet cleaning, cooker deep clean and an after builders clean.
On each occasion they have arrived on time and did the work thoroughly.

My sister has also used them and the work was done very well.

This is the second time we have used First for cleaning. They carried out the work that was required and will definitely use them again.

Cleaner just left the house saying 'everything is completed'. I opened the oven and there is dirt dripping on the sides and the top is full of dirt. Called the agency, they said the cleaners ran out of time! So what is it - is everything done or is everything not done?
This is at the end of paying for 4 hours with one cleaner yesterday and 4 hours with 2 cleaners today - total of 12 hours! I have paid more for he cleaning than for some furniture parts.
Only one cleaner spoke English and she showed a lot of attitude. She had time to do video calls with her family, have a snack break in between but walked out the door before it was even 4 hours. I went to just check what she was doing the bathroom and she said 'customers don't really stand and see, I don't like it'. Yesterday she left webs in the wall corner that I had specifically asked her to clean.
Very casual speed by the cleaners. Believe me they are in no hurry to finish things!
Big waste of money and the agency just hung up on me when I complained about the oven.
I also hired carpet cleaner, there are still big stains on the carpet in living room so I don't know what value they are adding.

We have used this company for an end of tenancy cleaning and carpet cleaning.
On each occasion we have had a good experience.
