I used Guildford garage for minor body…

I used Guildford garage for minor body repairs and after two weeks my Mercedes was returned in appalling condition. The interior was left filthy with dirt, dust, and debris all over the carpets, door sills, pedals, back seats, boot and trim. The door sill still has visible grime and marks that were not there before. I expected the car to be returned clean and properly detailed after the work — especially at a professional body shop. Instead, it looks like no effort was made to protect or clean the interior at all. I have emailed the company multiple times about this issue and received no response. Very poor customer service and unacceptable workmanship. I would not recommend this body shop to anyone who cares about their vehicle.

My Tesla was with them for nearly two…

My Tesla was with them for nearly two months for what should have been relatively minor repairs. To make matters worse, the windscreen was damaged while the car was in their care, yet they refused to take responsibility.

When I took the car to Autoglass, the technician confirmed that the crack could only have occurred during the repair process. The crack started from the bottom of the windscreen and ran all the way to the side, which he said was an unusual point of origin. He even commented that he wanted to know how the damage had happened because it should not have cracked in that way under normal circumstances.

To add to my disappointment, when it was time to collect my car, James told me I could have it back on the Saturday instead of the Tuesday—three days earlier—if I left Tesla a 5-star review. I found this completely inappropriate, as customer feedback should reflect the actual experience, not be influenced by incentives.

I wish they had simply accepted responsibility for the damage caused while my car was in their possession. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them to anyone. The customer service was poor, the repair process took far too long, and the overall standard of workmanship fell well below my expectations.

Above and beyond

Not only did they pick up the car, repair it and return it, they also found an unrelated problem left by the engineers during its last service (at the official dealer) and fixed that too!

Really poor repair quality and service

We have received really poor quality of service from this garage and have had numerous issues with the quality of repair to our BMW.
When you turn up and see all high value cars, especially Rolls Royce yous assume that you are in for a premium experience but in our case this couldn't have been further from reality.
The quality control is incredibly poor. The car was returned without the rear door being properly tightened and so it dropped when you opened it ( a simple opening of the door as a quality check would have identified this).
The bottom plastic panel on the rear passenger door was not fitted properly and was coming away a couple of weeks after the repair.
It sounds as if they have left repair debris in the front passenger door and this rattles (loudly) when you drive. Again, where's the quality control?
6 months after the repair and the loose plastic panel mentioned above has fallen off teh car and you can see that their repair solution was to use double sided tape rather than fix it properly.
Overall a very poor experience. I would not trust this garage with my 20 year old run around, let alone a premium car.
AVOID!

Exceptional workmanship & Good customer service 👍

From the moment my car was collected, the service was professional, efficient, reassuring and I was kept informed.
The quality of the repair is outstanding. The car was returned looking immaculate. The workmanship and attention to detail were exceptional.
A special thank you to the manager and the entire team. It is clear that they take great pride in what they do.
I definitely recommend Fastlane Paint & Body Group to anyone looking for a first-class repair service.

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE. Car was taken on 9th May for a repair at Fastlane Heathrow. On its return 3 weeks later there were 3 chips on the car that were not there when my car went in for repair. Car was taken back to fastlane as I didn’t accept the condition they’d returned it in. They have now held on to my car for a fourth week and not willing to accept liability even though I have photos from before and so do the recovery company. The manager Dave was incredibly rude on the phone and said it was just “general wear and tear”. Also wont give me my car back until tomorrow afternoon. Absolutely disgusting company who I’ll be taking legal action against. I’ve also raised a formal complaint against Fastlane with Mercedes as there is no way they should be Mercedes approved.

Outstanding Service

Terrible service

Car collected on 12 Feb 2026 to repair a dent in the door of a 1 year old car. Car still not returned as at 27 Feb 2026. Contacted earlier this week to say that car wouldn't be ready until 6 Mar 2026! After complaining, car now being returned on 2 Mar. The company says they were waiting for parts. What parts? What did you break? I'm sure there'll be some rubbish response to this but it won't alter the fact that it will have taken 18 days to repair a dent and there's been no customer service. We'll be contacting Mercedes to ask them to review the approved repairer status.

Good service

From the beginning, the staff were very professional. The work was done quickly and efficiently.
They kept me in the loop of when the car was going to be ready and it was finished the car looked spectacular. Super happy with this service.

I would like to sincerely and deeply thank the entire team at Fastlane Mercedes Approved Body Shop on behalf of Mercedes-Benz Loughton for the outstanding service I received while repairing my car.

From the very first day of the accident until the moment I received my vehicle back, everything was handled professionally and smoothly. The team contacted my third-party insurance company and managed the entire process efficiently without any hesitation. Fastlane acknowledged and updated me at every stage of the process, which gave me complete peace of mind. They truly took all the stress away from me during what could have been a very difficult time.

I was also pleasantly surprised to receive my car back sooner than I expected. The repair work was exceptional — my car honestly looked even better than before the accident. The attention to detail and quality of workmanship were outstanding.

They organised a brand-new courtesy car of the same model, which made the whole experience even more convenient and comfortable.

I would especially like to say a very special thank you to Salih and Vicky for their friendly and exceptional communication. Their professionalism, kindness, and support truly made a difference.

Excellent End-to-End Service and Follow-Up

I had an excellent experience with the car body repair service. Salih Khalil was instrumental in managing the entire process in a very punctual and efficient manner, from car collection through to final drop-off. He provided regular updates and maintained proper follow-up throughout, which added significant value and peace of mind. Salih also handled additional remarks identified during the repair efficiently, ensuring all were fully actioned. The car was returned in its original condition, and the overall service was smooth and well managed.

Fastlane are great!

Anil was so helpful and accommodating re my Smart car. He organised for me to get the panel fixed and turn up and he said they would do it while I waited. I went yesterday and they were expecting my arrival and fixed it for me as promised. Matthew was very helpful and charming.
Thank you Fastlane I will definitely return and recommend this body shop facility. They are great! Great service from beginning to end.

Professional and Perfection

I had a great experience working with Salil Khan. He is a genuinely good person with excellent customer service skills. I’m beyond happy with the repairs – they did an amazing job. This is my second time choosing FastLane for repairs, and once again they did not disappoint. Highly recommend!

Terrible communication and zero aftercare

Fastlane repaired my Tesla but their customer service afterwards has been dreadful. I only needed a short written confirmation for an insurance claim about a key card I couriered to them so they could carry out the work.

My contact at Fastlane, sent one unhelpful reply and then stopped responding altogether. Another inbox Fastlane use has since been deactivated and my emails now bounce. I have been left unable to progress my claim. Based on this experience, I would never use Fastlane again and would not recommend them to anyone.

I have sent three emails now without any solution or help.

Great experience from start to finish

Anil was very efficient had the vehicle collected as promised, I had to change the delivery address last minute and he was very accommodating, had the vehicle completed at the time promised. Made it very easy, especially when someone has driven into you. Thank you so much.

Ombisiman should investigate hustlers

Hustlers to get you in an expensive loan car. Loan car returned on one occasion as they were messing around getting insurance approvals. Then there was a delay in getting parts.

Place should be investigated by the insurance ombudsman as they have one main site and one place on the opposite side of the road for storing cars

Dropped off the first loan car and waiting around 2 weeks for the parts

Was told 2 weeks for the repairs after the parts arrived

Car went in for repair on 01st Oct and was only returned on 31st Oct clearly working in leagues with the loan car company no wonder everyone insurance premiums are so crazy bunch of hustlers.

Was informed the car had been fully valeted my kid could have done a better job on the glass work

Want to upload images and will be sharing with insurance ombudsman all details as this is why our insurance premiums are so crazy for a broken take light repair and new bumper!!!!
