Fabulous garage who managed to fit my Ford fusion in, after having an AA breakdown occur, very helpful and worked tirelessly to fix the problems and unexpected ones that cropped up . Excellent prices and service , thank you so much Chris, for putting my mind at ease and this is my third time going to them and very pleased every time Jan Knebworth.

I went to F1 in Stevenage to see if i could quickly get fitted in to replace some tyres before my MOT. The guys checked my wheels and changed them the next morning, no hassle, along with changing a valve on my wheel in which i hadnt even noticed was damaged. Big thanks to Chris, Paul and Jimmy for helping me get this sorted really quickly, will most definitely return again, thank you!!!!

The service received from Chris from the London road garage in Stevenage was excellent! Very polite, friendly and patient! Would definitely Recommend this garage to anyone 👍🏼

To whom it may concern. 

On Thursday 19th January 2023 my van failed it's MOT at your auto centre London Road,  Stevenage.

In addition to a couple of minor repairs it needed 2 new tyres.

So on the friday i ordered two new tyres to be delivered to the above autocentre and in addition thought i would call them to make a booking for tyres to fitted and mot retest,the appointment was for Wednesday 25th January 2023 at 4.30pm. This was the earliest appointment that I could be offered for the tyres.

I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment then told to take a seat in waiting room,after half an hour I noticed my van hadn't moved so I asked manager how long it would be,he replied we are running behind.So another half an hour passed and van still not moved.Eventually after well over an hour they started work on my van.So in total i had to sit and wait for over 2 hours for the work to be done. It would appear that they were accepting more work from walk ins than they could handle.

Then nearing the end of the day it was all systems go. 

My tyres and MOT were all completed in a rush. They didn't even put my van up to check the repairs.

By the time I left over 2 hours after arriving it was dark. 

I normally go to the Bolton Rd centre and have never had any problems. In fact I had 2 other MOTs carried out at that branch in the past month without issue and find Stuart and all the staff friendly and helpful so was expecting the same here. 

However when I saw my van in daylight I noticed the centre cap from my wheel missing. It's not easy to remove so wouldn't fall off so it's either been damaged or forgotten. 

I assumed it was an oversight so called the auto centre where the staff member laughed at me.

Now this may appear to be a minor issue but if it's not found I'll have to replace them all to match but that's besides the point. I don't think someones vehicle that has left the premises with parts missing it had when entering is acceptable. 

So to sum up my visit. 

I was kept waiting for over 2 hours when I had a pre booked slot, 

My vehicle was damaged/ had part missing when leaving,

The staff have treated me appallingly through the whole experience. 

The staff I spoke to chris said he would check the CCTV .After doing so he called me back to say that the camera was on the technician the whole time and he had worked on my van flawlessly and he could see both centre caps fitted to wheels. So now I write to you to ask if you could check the CCTV as the staff at this branch can't even change a tyre so I have little hope of them finding my missing part. 

As far as I'm concerned your technician was the last person to touch it.

I would seriously consider whether this is acceptable customer service by Chris (manager)

First time using this garage. Very good service. MOT done. Reception, garage was clean and tidy. The staff that assisted me were professional and personable. I would highly recommend this garage.
