In short stay away and book your car somewhere else, had 4 tyres fitted on my car at a cost of £900, the damage they caused to my alloy wheels is going to cost approximately £400 to put right, the branch manager on the day admitted liability, took them 3 week to send someone out to look at the damage and then said it was 100% curb damage! Then asked me if I had it in writing from the branch manager confirming the damage was them. Absolutely unbelievable response from them, I have used the garage for years for Mot,s services and tyres etc. my final advice is if you value your car, go elsewhere because the garage and company has lost it way with regards to supporting the customer. Truly shocking response.

From start to finish, I was given exceptional service. Helpful, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable.

I paid £211 for a "faulty" shock absorber to be replaced to be advised, on inspection of the old shock absorber by another garage, that the damage was caused by using the wrong tool on the shaft. The car was booked in for a steering problem which is still there on collection of the car and I've been charged for damage caused by incompetent mechanics.

I have been using the Southampton Central Formula One Autocentre branch for years. The team are fantastic, they're very knowledgeable, extremely professional and always look after me and my car. If something needs replacing they show me and explain everything they are doing. Well done and thank you Amir, Dusty, Ryan and Craig you are all a great asset to your company and I for one am extremely grateful for your kindness and help over the years. The best garage to go to. Highly, highly recommend.

Formula1 Hedge End

The team were extremely helpful in sorting out my blown exhaust quickly and efficiently. They also only replaced the part that was needed rather than the whole system which kept the costs down.
Would highly recommend them.

Took car in for 2 new front tyres pre MOT. Taken for MOT it fails on an exhaust and 2 rear tyres. They never noticed rear tyres were "bald" when they did front. My car was running perfect when I took it to MOT but when they failed it I drove away with a car that sounded like a tractor? The exhaust had mysteriously become broken. I've never used this company before but was desperate for an MOT. I was told a price for repairs but then they added more for an exhaust lambda sensor they then added £40 on top of final quote. They claim to not be beaten on price because they just keep adding and adding mysteriously new problems and costs. Avoid at all costs or you'll be out of pocket by £100's. I was shown a lambda sensor that was claimed to have been "stripped" but on looking at it myself, an engineer, they seemed to have stripped just 2 of the 6 threads and appeared deliberate, more money!

EDIT. Provided emails of documents, made telephone calls and was promised return calls and some form of refund but alas after over 4 weeks this has all been ignored. Save yourself time, effort and frustration, manager will not resolve or call you back as promised multiple times!

Great service- I had no appointment and they managed to fit me in on the same day which was great as otherwise I would’ve been without car. Kept me informed of what my choices were via a phone call. Friendly and professional staff.

My BMW Z4 was due a full service. Used hedge end branch in Southampton. They carried out an excellent comprehensive service and i am thoroughly pleased. Even the mechanic came to my car before I drove off the make sure I was happy and showed me my computer was updated with service record. #onehappycustomer

Really good to change/buy tyres - pay online and then drop it in, job done. I’ve done two tyres on 1 car and 1 on the other last 2 weeks. It’s not the most complicated service to get done but it’s all I can review on.

On Friday evening at 5:30pm I went in with a screw in my tyre which was making a slow puncture. Considering they shut at 6pm and were already really busy, they managed to fix my tyre there and then. They were so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend then for any car issues you may have.

Amazing customer service at hedge end from Jason Fallows. We turned up just as he was going home we asked for some emergency help as we had kids in the car and he stayed over an hour to help us resolve the issue and was so caring and polite. 10/10 service and lovely man.

Arrive late at the Hedge End Branch and had a slow puncture. The branch was about to shut but the manager who apparently was standing in got one of his lads to fix my puncture. The service was amazing I felt guilty as they were shutting but they didn’t seem to mind. What a team.

Took car to Hedge End branch for its MOT. Car failed but parts were ordered, fitted and retest done, all within a few hours. Very helpful and informative team!

Can’t thank them enough, whilst out shopping in hedge end I developed a fast puncture and limped to the retail park to hopefully get a new tyre sorted, Halfords were no use at all but these guys although very busy managed to squeeze me in same day. Fantastic service at a time when it was really needed

Another great experience with the Hedge End Formula One team! There’s a reason I ditched going to the different garages in the Southampton area…the team are great, very efficient and keep you updated with what’s going on so you don’t have to keep calling and chasing, plus everyone I’ve spoke to are extremely friendly and helpful, even when flat out! Will continue to go there and recommend it for everyone else!

Okay, where do I start? Ordered two tyres on a Black Friday weekend deal. I booked an appointment to have them fitted 5 days later. I notice after the Black Friday Weekend that the tyres are still the same price, so feel duped on price when in fact I wasn't getting a great deal. The day before my tyre fitting appointment, I get an email reminding me to turn up 15 minutes early etc. On arrival at the garage, my tyres are not there. staff cannot find them. Manager informs me he will chase it up and get back to me in the afternoon. So now its getting to closer to closing time and no phone call, so I have to call them. Manager has no idea where my tyres are, nothing next day but day after I get phone call from him saying he doesn't know where my tyres are still. I then get an email asking me to review Formula one. Really? Not a great first impression of Formula one at all. Not impressed, terrible service and a feeling nobody really cares. In the meantime.... I'll just continue to drive around on what may be illegal tyres because of this. As I write this review... the matter is still on going.
