Booked a discount MOT on the internet. Car failed its MOT but F1 Autocentre replaced the bulbs without charge and then passed the car. Helpful and cheerful staff.
Recommended.

I have been using F1 Centerre for all our cars, not after my last experience. Low pressure light came in and took it for investigation and fixing. The guy who took it in I overhead shouting it just need topping. The guy at the desk said do something, and they put some muck around the tyres as though they did something and charge me £28.50. Just to fake that they did something. They did not even ask for or touch the wheel lock nut. I was puzzled. a month later same thing happened, and this time pressure light came and tyre went flat within 30 min, putting my family's life in danger, almost had a crash. Had they done a through investigation they could have identified the root cause. Let F1 autocentere check their shop floor video. I have the proof.

The Worst Service I Have Ever Experienced!

I strongly advise against using this company. My car was booked in for a service and MOT on Tuesday, 19th November. Instead of the quick and efficient service I expected, I was met with a nightmare that lasted until 23rd November!

During the service, they damaged the oil dipstick and ordered a new part – which is already a shocking display of carelessness. But that was just the beginning. For several days, absolutely nothing was done to fix their mistake, leaving me without a car.

Let me emphasize that this was the middle of the week. I have two children who need to be dropped off at schools in different parts of the town, a job to get to, and freezing temperatures to deal with. When I asked if they could provide a courtesy car, I was told they wouldn’t. This is outrageous!

Finally, after four days, when I was finally able to pick up my car at the end of the day, I was informed that the MOT – which the car was booked in for – hadn’t even been done! This level of unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and total disregard for the customer is beyond belief.

What should have been a two-hour service turned into four days of chaos, stress, and endless inconvenience, all because of their mistake.

I will never return to this place and strongly recommend everyone else avoid it too. If you value your time, sanity, and professional service, steer well clear of this company!

It's the first time I've used formula one autocentre. Excellent customer service, my car was fixed on the same day which is brilliant. Thanks Eithan your a star! Highly recommend him.

Very friendly staff. Got my tyres changed here and were very quick and helpful. Whilst in the waiting room i overheard them giving some free tyre repairs to people who had punctures.

Came back here for a MOT and cannot fault it. They were fast and fair with MOT and advised me on some stuff that I could quickly fix beforehand so it would pass easier. Also recommended some products from other shops that I would help keep my car running well.
I highly recommend coming here if you like your cars, as they certainly do too!

Booked my VW Touareg in for an MOT on their website. When I took the car in I was advised that they can’t do the MOT as the “car is too big for our ramps”. Ridiculous! If that’s the case the website should highlight that SUV are excluded from the service offering. Am now left having to find an alternative provider at short notice. Not impressed!

Booked car in for service and MOT on 28 September, after picking it up we noticed car juddering and warming lights came on so hubby took it back and the customer service was shocking, they were rude, not helpful at all. On further investigation we found the source of the problem - a pipe had been broken AND fixed using duct tape!!!!. We didn't have a problem with the car before we went here. Safe to say we will not be going back!!!

Recently had an MOT done very efficiently so got the car in for a service today. Despite having staffing issues the manager carried out the service plus new brake pads and brake fluid change along with balancing with normal efficiency. Would definitely recommend.

The Reading branch were incredibly helpful, especially the centre manager who met and greeted me as if I was a friend, kept me informed of progress and when they found a puncture they sorted it without issue.
Cannot say how good the service was, it was good to feel more that just another number.

I needed an annual service with brake fluid change and MOT. Booked and paid all on line. Simple.
When it came to the service they contacted me regarding some recommenfation based upon age of car. We agreed on the work and it was all done on the same day.
Highly recommend and will be using again next year.

The centre was short staffed as one of the mechanics had gone off sick at short notice. However, the manager had worked hard to keep to the schedule. The work seemed very professional and the price for MOT excellent so I’d recommend Formula 1. I was supposed to get a free tracking check with the MOT but due to the lack of staff this couldn’t be done.

Arrived 10 minutes late for an MOT and despite being their first customer they refused to provide the service. Gentleman on reception said if he did the MOT it would have a knock on effect with other customers. So he gave me details of tester next door which agreed to do the MOT, Formula 1 has an hour to spare, no need to put on the new set of tyres I was going to order and next time I'll take my MOT elsewhere. Everyone's a winner.

F1autocentres came up from a Google search through WhoCanFixMyCar and although they couldn't do the work I required, (WhoCanFixMyCar's database error not theirs) I just wanted to thank and recommend Gary and Tony, the managers at Reading and Basingstoke, for taking the time in trying to help me resolve my inquiry. Based on this experience and their professionalism, I would certainly consider F1 Autos in the future. It's just a shame that a few one star reviews are dragging down the company's overall rating.

The job of recharging the air conditioning was a success. However, when the car came out of the workshop I had to highlight what appeared to be red paint on the car door. It turned out to be red jam smeared on the panel. And I was meant to be pleased with that diagnoses!

After driving away I noticed a scratch has been made on the horn push. This is right underneath my eye line - a timely reminder never to return to Formula 1, Reading ever again.

In all my time owning a car I’ve never experienced such a disrespect towards a customer’s car, and a garage that can’t tell the difference between a car and a sandwich!

We were travelling to airport and heard a funny sound on the motorway. We stopped off at Reading to see something falling off the bottom. We went to Formula One Autocentre and explained to them our situation and it was urgent. Not only where they super helpful, they looked at the problem and fixed it within 20mins and told us it was temporary but to go Peugeot to get it fixed properly when we get back. I cannot put into words how grateful we were to the team especially the man in reception (in the rush I forgot to get his name which I regret). If I lived in Reading I would 100% use them every time for their service, honesty and professionalism.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the garage service I received. I was surprised to see that they attempted to charge me for wheel alignment, despite the dealer garage not reporting any issues during the service. When I requested a copy of the checks that were supposedly performed, I was given the excuse that the printer was not working and there was no internet on the computer. This situation has left me feeling uncertain and unable to trust the reliability of the garage.
