Absolutely shocking customer service. I walked in and the guy at the counter was talking to a lady. He walked off and got her car out.

Then I walk up, and he goes "yes, mate?" Like what the hell do you want? I'm busy, as if I was wasting his time. Then he acts like I don't have an appointment and he has no idea why I'm there. When he finds it he tells me I have to wait an hour as it's 5mins past the appointment time despite the fact I was on time and he was talking to the lady in front of me and getting her car out.

Then he walks off without taking my keys or explaining anything. So I wait for him and he finally asks me for the car keys and parks my car with no explanation. So, I'm naturally waiting for some kind of process or proper handover.

I see him come back into the office so I step back in to see if I need to sign any papers or anything and he looks at me like I was stupid and says sarcastically, "Well, it's not done yet."

His rude, don't give a damn attitude made me think he must be the owner. If he isn't, whoever does the staff training has got their work cut out for them. I can actually tolerate low quality customer service, but I'm not going to put up with arrogant disrespect.

I suppose you just can't get the staff nowadays.

The guys at park road chesterfield branch were extremely helpful often rescheduling appointments whilst waiting for my own performance parts to be delivered. Can't fault their expertise, professionalism and friendly attitude very happy with my car now drives better than new.

During the morning rush hour i got a puncture.
i went FOA chesterfield the staff were friendly and informative explained they was busy but would try and fit me me in ASAP. i was fitted in order to get to work on time thanks a lot to all the staff.

Extremely rude member of staff. I’ve been to formula one on Sheffield road and the staff there were supper lovely and attentive. However, I couldn’t go there again as they had no time. After going to the formula one on Beetwell street, I realised I would never go there again. The person who attended me and did the MOT for my car was extremely unfriendly and rude, with a nasty attitude and had the rudest tone of voice when speaking to us. I left my car there, and upon return, I spoke to another attendant who didn’t pay us any attention and wouldn’t even answer where the issues were in my car. My car had a few advisories such as a leak and the attendant just shook his shoulders and didn’t know where any of it was. I can’t talk about their work as I’ve not had anything but the MOT conducted there, but the way they handled and treated us was just completely unacceptable. Would not return.

From start to finish they did things well. I had wanted to change to 4 all season tyres for my Lexus NX but couldn’t warrant the outlay. The Michelin cross climate 2 had deals as the 3 is just out. My local garage advised these as best and had a deal through black circles for 4. Down to £600. I told him of the F1 price of £488 pound & he told me to jump on it but check it’s not a mistake as it’s so good. I called the chesterfield branch( one hour away) and they had to check as it was so low. The guy helped me buy & book in. They called the next morning to delay as the tyres had been delivered wrong but if I came later in day they could fit the two and then pop second two on as they arrived. I told the Fitter Carl about previous studs snapping, valves snapping at £100 each and damage to alloys plus the old rusty weight on inner wheel. He made his colleague use a mitt to protect the lever and not use air gun to tighten. He cleaned inner wheels and removed old weights n glue. Torqued up the nuts Put the only decent old tyre in bout for me and talked me through how to remove the tyre soap from alloys. And the pressure settings. Thanks Carl & Andy one question, why didn’t they wipe the soap off the alloys rather than explain to me how to do it. It had me wondering if they were hiding a scuff. But next day all was revealed and wheels perfect.

I called in with the dashboard of my wife’s BMW lit up like a Christmas Tree and they killed the codes so we could continue with our journey. Cost was no charge when it might have been hundreds! A huge thank you to the guys who dropped everything and got us on our way.

Super helpful and friendly. I pitched up late on a Sunday morning without an appointment and they fitted me in 2.5h later. Great service. Would definitely return and recommend.

Good service and was happy with everything until I came to collect my car. Upon collecting, the manager made a rude remark about the fact he had to manually add a specialist oil to my invoice, “despite the fact I’d been asked 3 times on my online booking journey if I needed a specialist oil”. Knowing very little about cars, I could not have known that I needed a special oil added to my service when booking it and came away from your garage feeling embarrassed and annoyed at the interaction. It felt like an unnecessary dig for something that I didn’t even know about. A bit of friendliness and less attitude would go a long way! Perhaps your website could flag up when inputting your reg, if any additional specialist oils are required, if it’s a headache for your employees to add onto the invoice after. Although, my guess is that it’s not a headache and the manager was having a moan about nothing.

I've used this garage on numerous occasions and can recommend the service. Great prices on tyres, brakes etc. I have my MOT and service done at the same time which also is a saving. Just had an aircon re-gas at a very reasonable discounted price. All ready for the summer now, (providing we get one of course).

Shocking waste of time. Rang up earlier in the week spoke to the "lead" mechanic at F1 auto centres. I had a health check on my bmw with a specialist prior to this knowing exactly what was wrong I then explained it very clearly to him gave him the reg plate, exact model and exact diagnosis. The flexi pipe and the prop doughnut were both broken and needed new ones fitting, he told me this was absaloutely no problem for them and he could definitely do it Friday so I booked it in trusting him. Missed a day of work to ensure it was taken care of i took the car to him at 830am and left it in his possession. He didn't look at the car till 3-4pm in the day and rang me at 4 20pm to tell me they wouldn't be able to repair the car because it required welding and they aren't allowed to do welding but he can weld. (Yeah I'm sure you can) he used the excuse that it's not like other ones hes seen but he's clearly never even seen a bmw before since there all built the same with these models, he had all the information and he wasted my time and also caused extra damage to the car. With bmws using drive chain systems it's all fit together one piece. using the car in this condition can worsen other components on the vehicle so after driving 35 minutes to him across many fast pace roads roundabouts I had to drive it all the way back with no repair it would of been acceptable if it had been fixed. With drive chains all connecting to one another if certain pieces are broken all other components can shift about meaning the more it's driven the worse the situation can become but this man is clearly a complete amateur and this is the man leading the shop! I wouldn't ever take a car here i would tell everyone to run from them. I just think he was like an excited little child who wanted my bmw in the shop and lied to get it there. When my car goes back to the specialist I will be having them do the repairs which they couldn't fit in till the back end of next week, I will also be having them health check the car again from top to bottom and if there are any extra damages to the vehicle from there possession I will be informing the police of these fraudsters business. I would also like to note on top of this they got grease on my leather seats and all over the outer body of the car.

The price and quality of the tyres was excellent, I just found if frustrating that we made a booking however the car wasn’t moved for over one hour and we were only having 2 tyres, when it was moved they were fitted within 20 minutes. Also, why aren’t the fitters disposable gloves taken off before my car is moved, I had oil/grease on the steering wheel!! They did apologise for the delay in fitting the tyres and no reason was given!

Amazing I cannot praise this garage enough. Ive been going now for the past 5 years and today had a break check, found the problem and without ordering expensive parts sorted the issue. So friendly down to earth guys highly recommend

They had my car for 2 days without finding or fixing the fault with no communication about how long it would take. When I came to collect it the man on reception was misogynistic- he did “not think to ask me” about my car registration, I had to specifically ask for an explanation of what had been done, then ask again for my paperwork. The work was registered under “mr” despite me giving my name and the car being registered in my name. The car is now worse than before they started.

There is a thief working for you! Enjoy the aux cable you stole from the centre console, which you shouldn't have even add your sticky fingers near.

Absolute joke! Paid hundreds of pounds for unsatisfactory work. Picked the car up and noticed it wasn't driving right. Took it back to be told that the car needed hundreds of pounds more work doing due to an apparent "impact" that I had caused. The next words out of his mouth were "it's your word against mine" I live 5 minutes away from the garage and assured him that I had not had any impact, this fell on deaf ears! And he repeated "its my word against his" This company have caused me nothing but stress and upset. I will never use them again and would NEVER recommend them to my worst enemy!

Wielded my lambda sensor to my exhaust them said it was road wear not the gas cutter they used or rocking it against the tread no running the car did it .really appreciate you guys ripping out my lambda and treating my car like trash .

Great first experience, after trying a number of garages over the years I felt the mechanic Ethan took time to explain what was wrong with my car and why it needed what it needed. 100% will return and recommend to friends 5*

Great bunch of guys, can be quite intimidating going to a garage sometimes but the lads at formula one really made me and the family feel welcome and looked after. I will definitely be returning myself as well as recommending this centre to friends and family.
