We had our mot done here yesterday.. thought I would leave some feedback, we highly recommend this garage all the guy's are super helpful and friendly.. John is a great guy, always happy to take the time to explaine everything and was very informative.

I would recommend to everyone it is the best garage in Staffordshire very talented trustworthy machanics great prices too.

Fantastic service, very reasonably priced. Jon was brilliant at explaining to me what was wrong with my car in simple terms. Will always return to this trustworthy garage.

I would give no stars if that was an option.
I booked over the phone for an MOT and an interim service. The chap said he could book it in but they were short staffed so I would need to leave it with them.
I received a call 5 hours later to say the car had failed the MOT. It was on the rack 1/2 way through the service oil drained filter off, I think he was trying to blind me with jargon. He listed a large number of jobs that needed to be done to prevent the car from being unsafe. The cost would be £850.00. I was stunned. I asked if all these needed doing to pass the MOT. I was told that the two jobs needed for a pass:- anti roll bar link, geometry check inc front toe adjuster. This would be £420.00
Again I was stunned.
I asked for the price of the MOT. I was told it was £39.50. The interim service I was told was £145.00.
I just questioned how a service can be that much money?
At this point I was feeling like I was being ripped off. I’m now feeling that I can not trust at all what I am being told about the cost. When I have been to other garages a service has cost considerably less. When I said this he implied that they are reputable but other garages aren’t. I am now having serious doubts about the validity of anything he is saying. I asked him to email the jobs I needed doing to pass so I could call some other garages and check the price. The man told me he would stop all work on the car but they had removed the oil so I would have to get the car recovered as it was not drivable. He was very insistent about the fact that if I wanted a drivable car I would have to pay for the service and the failed MOT £185.00. I said I didn’t have that sort of money. He then said that they could do a price match if I found a garage that would charge less. I said I would do that. Before I got to do that he then said actually his manager had checked and they had not started with my car he had been mistaken and it was the car next to mine??? He said I could collect the car and they would not charge me for the MOT or service.
My feeling is that I rumbled a rip off merchant.
When I collected the car I was told I could have the earlier mentioned jobs, the service and the MOT for £184.00???????
I couldn’t believe it!!!!! I would not feel safe now driving a car that this organisation had touched.
I would avoid this garage at all costs. I’m sure they have managed to convince many people to pay over the odds.

We’ve had a few repairs here lately - they are slow to inform you, slow to answer the phone, rude… and today my mum needed a price for new brakes and when we said we would take it elsewhere they told her “you won’t get it anywhere cheaper than this…. First garage we contacted was £120 cheaper…!

Tyres cheapest around, work carried out at exact appointment time and completed very quickly, staff extremely pleasant. Cannot fault them, would highly recommend using Formula one

Waited a week for appointment as originally the aircon machine broken. Booked in for 1pm. Arrived 20 mins early to be told to come back at 3 or 330 as they were running late and the 2pm appointment after me they wanted to do on time rather than do mine next. I said that doesnt make sense. Im first in the queue not the 2pm person.When I said I had other appointments and couldn't do that I got a shoulder shrug and a take it or leave it attitude super rude and abrupt . No apology, super bad attitude from manager. Said I would take my business elsewhere . Manager still shouting at me as I crossed the car park when I said he had a bad attitude and bad customer service. Never had this problem at the Derby branch when previously used for tyres

I went there on Saturday to book a appointment for re gas to the AC the guy booked it in for me for Monday and when I went there on Monday cause they been too busy they call me to let me know that the Re gas machine not working 😕, which I'm sure they laid to me .they are just some layers and I don't recommend to anyone to go to that place for servicing or re gas

Had a lot of work done to my car the guys at f1 Burton were very friendly and professional. A great team they have there best prices in Burton if you ask me. all in all would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone if you want a repair at a good price then come here.

Had my campervan serviced and tracked yesterday by J and his team at the Burton branch and again the customer service was brilliant and the price was good to, well done guys

Had 4 New Tires fitted on the 23rd of April, best price online, the Technician was very professional and did a great job, on cleaning the car the following week I noticed some paint on the nearside rear rim was slightly damaged, telephoned the Manager, I was invited to bring the car for inspection the following day by John the manager, he agreed that the rear nearside wheel had some slight damage due to the tire change, he explained very clearly how this can happen and immediately offered compensation that completely satisfied me, he was most professional and resolved my issue to my complete satisfaction, I wold recommend this Branch of Formula One to anyone needing their services, thank you FORMULA ONE

Unfortunately after driving in the car it flagged up the front tyre was going down….. we pop straight into ((((F 1 Burton branch)))). With no appointments till Monday we left them the keys with fingers crossed they would be able to take a look. Gentlemen on the desk was very helpful and was left they would see what they could do. They called back within a few hours and very thing was fixed ready to collect!!! Great service!very help full! Couldnt thank them enough! F1 Burton on Trent branch

Shocking, avoid at all costs!! If you are reading this please stay clear of this garage, had a full service and mot done 2-3 weeks ago, my car is currently sat in another garage trying to repair some of the work this garage has done and also missed, my car ‘passed’ the mot when clearly it shouldn’t have been, this company really need looking at! And possibly shutting down, but seriously please do avoid if you want work doing ro your car, learn from my mistake of trusting these fools!

Very bad and unprofessional service from very rude staff

Car in for MOT, passed with advisories, will be taking there to have these done as and when can afford it. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Be warned:
Just had a horrible experience at the Burton-upon-Trent branch. Had to phone them to find out that the car had failed it's MOT. On correcting him about one of the issues, the man became rude and said he knew "all about Clios" and if we could do better, we'd better show him". Once at the centre, he became aggressive, pushing his face over the counter, pointing and shouting. Announcing himself as "The Manager", I said that if he was happy with treating people like that, we would not be using them again for any of our vehicles (we've been regular customers for 3 years) which caused him to shout further, "I don't care, I don't care" and accused me of being rude.
I will never go back to this place!!

Dropped my car in for an Mot that was booked online. What a brilliant service these guys gave. From a simple easy online booking to driooi g the car off. From the minute I walked in I was made very welcome and told exactly how long my vehicle would be in there.
I have used Formula One for a few years now and by far this is my 'go to' local branch. Competitive prices and friendly honest service from well trained mechanics.

Very helpful company. Give lots of advice when my calliper went on my car. Had new breaks and were squeaking still so i spoke to John who swapped them for free of charge. Always there to help even when they are very busy. Wont be going anywhere else for car repairs. Massive shout out to John at forumla one
