Avoid.. read others reviews

I took my car got a full service and MOT, the car passed but it was advisory for my front break pads and disc and 1 front tyre so I trusted them and had new front pads and discs with 2 front tyres…. While it was there I asked about new spark plugs also. When I got the car back my fuel gauge was flashing red even though I had half a tank and I had a abs break failure warning.. they then told me I had a abs mount that was broken which was the reason for the warnings.. not noticed apparently while they were changing the breaks…. ??? I spent £1600+ and had all these new issues. Which they were willing to fix for a price…!!! Since then another garage doesn’t even think a service was done as many of the fluid levels are low and air filters are probably from last years service.
Avoid this do a job make a job garage. !!!

Prey on the Vulnerable

The manager and mechanics are really pushy and try to get you have work done when there is nothing wrong.

daughter was told that she needed new brake discs and pads, and a special additive as its a 2017 diesel car, if these were not done the car would fail its MOT being carried out in the afternoon.

Denied to have it done to call their bluff and the car passed its MOT. Took to another garage the following day to check the discs and pads to be advised they had at least a further 6000 miles in them. Even if they needed replacing Formula One wanted £380 and this local garage would charge £170.

They try and rip customers off especially if you are a young lady on your own.

Friendly and efficient

Have used this centre many times. Needed performance tyres, given the options for my car. Ordered in and fitted as promised. Team are always really friendly and helpful. They often go the extra mile for customers.

Worst company by St Phillips in the…

Worst company by St Phillips in the world with unqualified staff and unqualified assistant managers who have no clue or knowledge what they are doing, and they think they are clever, running a fraud garage. I took my car for Full Service telling me 100 things was wrong with it quoting me over a grand and a half otherwise it wont pass my MOT. I stated that I will not get everything fixed, just tell the important part that I need to get fixed. Then proceeded to tell me I will need to pay £755 to get all of my tyres fixed asked for a cheaper price then said was £600 and something, even halfords dont charge that much. 🤬 Dont ever go there they just want your money surprised they are not shutdown. I requested I want my paperwork but they said they dont have ipad or a pc after robbing people no surprise there. When I came to collect the car the receptionists was hiding, thinking I wouldnt be able to clock his lies.

Highly recommended

Took my car in to St Phillip’s Bristol branch today to have the tyres checked as going on a long journey. They checked the treads and pressures for me and reassured me that they are fine - no charge! Brilliant service highly recommended

Damaged wheels

Went in on my birthday for two new Goodyear tyres and left with both my wheels absolutely butchered. Zero accountability from the manager, Ansar denied responsibility, and the situation was then deflected in a manner that implied I was being untruthful. This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Clearly not enough paste used and the tyre fitting machine was not set up correctly.
Avoid like the plague.

Good Service for Tyres

Having purchased tyres online and booked an appointment for fitting when arrived told it would be an hour which I was surprised about given I had never known in to take that long before. However I explained I had to be at another appointment in 45 mins round the corner they had me out with 40 mins so I was pleased. 4* because the website didn't say to allow 15 mins per tyre. The person on counter duty though was very pleasant I would return if need tyres in the future

Into the spider’s web.

My wife called in after her brakes suddenly became noisy. After an inspection, it was found that the discs and pads needed replacing. She was also told that all four tyres needed changing. They would not let her have her car back and quoted £780.63. She called me… when I arrived I checked all four tyres. Two were close to needing replacing, two had 5mm of tread left. I wasn’t in the mood for arguing and I think the staff knew that! We retrieved our car.

Necessary repairs are now booked through reputable garages. Total? £350.73. A saving of £429.90.

I’m trying hard not to say that this “garage” tried to rip off my wife but…

Avoid at all costs.

Great garage

Great service from Formula One. Cheapest price online for the tyres I wanted, easy booking, friendly welcome, and everything explained clearly. Comfortable waiting area and my car was done within an hour. Efficient and excellent value!

I went to the Days road centre and this…

I went to the Days road centre and this is a belated but deserved positive review, Ansar the manager is extremely polite and very helpful! Was able to get my issue rectified the next day for my MOT so was not without a car when needed! Most impressed with how Ansar deals with customers! Also have come back today for new tyres and am again most impressed with the service and the highly competitive tyre price (ordered on line)

Took our car in as tyre pressure light…

Took our car in as tyre pressure light had come on so assumed we had a flat tyre. They checked it out no flat tyre. Pumped it back up, reset the warning light and checked the alignment - all at no cost. What a pleasant and honest company. We will definitely recommend and go back - should the need arise. Thank you!

Beyond Useless Service, Waste of time!!!

Would give less than 1 Star if I could!
Useless service and a waste of time. Try to hide behind a "Price Match" service which they don't actually honour properly! Spoke to Rico at St Philips Branch (Bristol) who agreed price for a tyre and when turned up wouldn’t honour it... Verbal contracts are Law in UK and I will be reporting to Trading Standards! Asked F1 to listen to the call but doubt they have or "for some reason that call wasn't recorded"...

Furthermore, awful "higher level" service provided too by their Southwest Area Manager (Mr A**n Bu**y) who's response was useless and didn't address issue at hand at all... (I actually think the poor guy is just there as a marketing ploy to show extra care level but in reality has no authority or managerial experience!)

Will never use F1 again... ProTyre (Church Road) and lots of local garages around that are much better and won't magically find extra work needed on your car! All garages price match these days but go somewhere you can trust to do the job.

P.S - Day Later F1 contacted Trust Pilot to ask for the Southwest Area Managers name to be removed/anonymised… Didn't ask for their workers name at the branch to be removed though… Hmmmm, wonder who put that request in? Such a poor actions!

Don't uphold their bookings

Booked an appointment one month in advance through book my garage. Called the day before my appointment And they claimed to have no idea about it and couldn't see me for one week (after my mot is already expired....). When I called book my garage they said that the confirmation email had been sent to them and they'd even open the email! They refuse to apologise or take any responsibility for the fact that I am now scrambling to try to get an MOT appointment in time.

Refit tyre - excellent service

Had tyre fitted by another garage and was leaking so went to formula one to see if they could refit. Saw me immediately and refit the tyre free of charge. Excellent service thanks so much
